Judgemental [1]
Author's Note: Yet another Undertale story to add to the two Frans stories I wrote before this one. So, if you haven't read those ones before this one, I suggest you do if you want to get the backstory of things that have happened so far.
This story is more Frans based, so if you do not like that then I'm afraid this isn't the fanfiction for you.
I have to point out at the start of these, just so that people won't get triggered, Frisk and Sans are of the same age. It is in this story that they are at least both over 18.
Please do enjoy! ^-^

A couple of years on the surface. Now that was an accomplishment.
Life for monsters and humans had changed forever one sudden day, when the barrier that had trapped monsters underground was finally broken by a single human, and all monsters could go free. The name of that single human was of course, Frisk.
Though, even though it was an amazing step forward for the monsters of the world to finally live on the surface, there were still those bumps in the road that had caused a lot of problems. From Chara continuously trying to come back to kill everyone (before they managed to make her normal), to humans wanting monsters to "go back to where they came from". Of course, with Frisk as ambassador, she never wanted to let that happen.
She had a lot more free time on her hands, as things weren't always so hectic for her and her skeletal boyfriend, Sans. She had a lot more time to be involved in meetings, and to be able to discuss her thoughts with really important people on the surface. Frisk did have help from Asgore and Toriel as well though, as some things she REALLY couldn't handle on her own. But she was hoping with her input that it made somewhat of a positive impact on things. Things had been going well for the last couple of years, so she didn't exactly see what could go so wrong now.
Anyway, today wasn't exactly a busy day, as Frisk had some good friends over to spend some time with her. Undyne, Papyrus and Alphys had decided to drop by, as Frisk was feeling kind of... Bonely without Sans. As, you see, he wasn't home right now. Sans had felt bad because Frisk was always so hard working with her job as the ambassador, so he thought it would be a good idea to see if he could get himself a job, even being the lazy bones that he was. Frisk just hoped he was able to make it through an interviewing process without cracking out any bad jokes. As much as she loved them, other people probably wouldn't think as highly of them.
"Oh, come on! That's totally cheating!" Undyne growled at the screen, as she was playing against Papyrus and Alphys on a game called: Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Papyrus was currently the one who was winning, evident by his glee and the constant comments he couldn't stop making at the fact that he wasn't going to lose.
"I'm n-not very g-g-good at this game..." Alphys giggled a little, as she had lost too many lives, meaning she could no longer participate in the game, leaving Papyrus trying to win against Undyne the hot head who really just DID NOT want to lose.
"Oh, come on, punk! You're totally cheating! I shouldn't be losing this easily!"
"MAYBE YOU JUST NEED TO BECOME MORE SKILLED AT THE GAME, LIKE I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS! NYEH HEH HEH HEH HEH!"
"Oh why you--!!" Undyne growled, as she furiously pressed at the buttons on her controller, kicking her competitiveness from about a 0 to an 100. Of course, all the yelling and competition was interrupted when there was a knock at the door, and Frisk decided to pick herself off the couch to be the one to go answer it. A huge smile lit up her face, when she saw it was Sans.
"You're home!" She exclaimed, giving him a quick kiss on the cheekbone as she allowed him in. Though, the smile soon vanished from her face when she noticed how glum he seemed. "Are you okay? Did it not go well?" Frisk questioned.
"eh..." Sans shrugged, loosening the tie from around his neck as he exhaled. Frisk went to follow him, as he made his way to the living room to just sit down on the couch to relax. Undyne decided to pause the game, as they all glanced towards the unhappy looking skeleton.
"What's got you so down?" Undyne asked, earning yet another sigh from the oldest skeleton of the bone brothers.
"i'm just tired." Sans admitted, pressing a finger against where his temple would be. "how do people go through things like that all the time? people bein' so judgemental...? it's really not fun."
"Says the Judge." Undyne joked, earning an eye roll from him in response.
"What do y-you mean, Sans?" Alphys wondered.
"i honestly think they hated me the moment i walked in." Sans said. "seeing as, i'm a, y'know... monster."
Frisk frowned, crossing her arms as she felt bad for him. She wasn't sure whether he was jumping to conclusions, or if the thing had really been all that bad, but she was just hoping that she could help him cheer up nonetheless.
"Hey, you know what?" Frisk said, going to hug him from the side. "You just relax, and I'll get you some ketchup from the kitchen, okay?" She smiled, kissing him on the skull as he grinned a little in return, a light hue of blue forming on his cheekbones.
"alright... thanks, kid." Sans replied as she went to do just that. Undyne rose a brow as Frisk went to go get him some ketchup. Crossing her arms, she leaned back into the couch as she went on to speak.
"So, how exactly did it go? How did you know if they hated you?" Undyne wondered.
"Y-Yeah... For all you k-know they might not h-have..." Alphys added. Sans once again sighed as he rolled his eyes. How he wished Alphys was right, but honestly, he just knew.
"it was the way they looked at me when i went in. you know what some humans are like. they still hate us bein' up here, even after all this time. he's probably gonna pick some human for it instead... ah well, it wasn't really my thing anyway. was just lookin' for something to do because i hate to see frisk working herself down to the bone, while i'm just sitting around at home."
"Hey, you know that I don't mind, Sans." Frisk spoke when she reentered the room, taking them all by surprise as she handed him the ketchup. "Don't work yourself up over it. I'm perfectly content with going to these meetings. In fact, I actually have to go to one tomorrow. If you don't want to laze around the house, then you can always take me there." Frisk suggested with a shrug. Sans rose his eyebrows, not expecting the suggestion but he slightly smiled, seeming to like that idea.
"heh, sure kid. i guess i can do that for you."
"Thanks." Frisk beamed in return.
"Can I come?" Undyne asked. "I mean, Alphys said she's going to be busy watching anime tomorrow." Undyne flashed Alphys a small smile, showing that she didn't mind that her girlfriend couldn't spend time with her. After all, she knew how much her nerdy, cute girlfriend loved watching anime, so she thought it'd be nice to just let her do that. "So, you know, I'm going to be kind of bored."
"Oh! Right!" Frisk remembered something, turning to Sans. "I almost forgot to ask, is it okay if Undyne stays for awhile?"
"why? what'd she do, burn her house down again?"
"Kind of." Undyne admitted, as Sans gave her a look of shock.
"i was joking."
"Well, I'm not." Undyne bluntly replied as Sans continued to stare back at her, until he simply shrugged, not seeming to really care all that much.
"i mean, if you have to. why don't you just stay at alphys'? not that i'm tryna get rid of you."
"W-Well, I'm kind o-of moving in a f-few days. Not far, t-though. Only like a-another block away." Alphys explained. "S-So, you know. It'd be k-kind of hard for Undyne to s-stay over when I have t-to spend time packing."
"oh, right. that makes sense."
"YOU'LL REALLY ENJOY LIVING WITH MY BROTHER, UNDYNE!" Papyrus exclaimed excitedly. "DESPITE THE PUNS, AND THE FACT THAT SANS IS JUST TOO LAZY TO PICK UP HIS OWN SOCKS, I THINK YOU'LL LIKE IT HERE. I'VE KIND OF MISSED LIVING HERE MYSELF."
"maybe one day you should stay 'round, bro."
"THAT DOES SOUND LIKE A GREAT IDEA!" Papyrus exclaimed. "PERHAPS I WILL SOMETIME!"
Frisk couldn't help but laugh a little at Papyrus' same old enthusiasm. It warmed her heart to know that Papyrus missed living there, ever since he moved out to live with Mettaton. But he seemed happy nonetheless, and Frisk was so glad for her skeletal friend.
"Anyway," Frisk started, turning back to Undyne. "You can come if you want. Though, you're going to have to wait outside the room for me until after the meeting as only Toriel and Asgore are allowed in with me."
"Sure thing, punk! That doesn't really bother me." Undyne grinned a bug toothy grin as Sans couldn't help but chuckle a little.
"well, i suppose that's settled then."
