You groaned, waking up on a patch of black flowers. You sat up, rubbing your head. You looked down at the flowers. They looked so pretty! You picked one and twirled it around, chuckling. There were seven petals on it. You plucked one of them.

You giggled as you let go of the remains of the flower. No playing around now. You stood up and walked to a hallway that leads to a doorway. You went through and saw another black flower except if only had six petals. The flower turned around and it had a face! Oh.my.goodness... They look so cute! "Howdy! I'm-" "Oh my gosh your so cuuuute!" You shouted, running towards them and crouching to their level. The flower leaned back a bit. "Excuse you human! There's a thing called personal space!" You didn't listen and held your hands out, squishing the little flower's cheeks. They glared at you as their face changed into a scary one though their blushing. They hissed as you scooted back, surprised. They scoffed. "You filthy human! Your gonna pay for that!" You were shocked at how their voice changed. Suddenly, you saw white pellets surrounding you. A (s/c) heart appeared in front of your chest as it shone brightly. The flower smirked. "Such a powerful soul you got there! You wouldn't mind if I...." One of the pellets went towards it. You felt unimaginable pain go through your body as you held your chest. You took in a sharp breath. More pellets went towards you. The flowers face morphed into a more scary one. "RIp iT oUT oF yOur BodY?!?" You trembled. His voice was really, really scary! The pellets were slowly inching towards you. You cried and screamed as the flower cackled. "DIE!!!!!" You curled up into a ball. Suddenly, the flower stopped. You heard a Yelp coming from it and you also heard footsteps coming closer. You were trembling, scared. "What a horrible creature. Don't worry kid, I got ya." You looked up as you heard another voice. You saw a skeleton in a black robe. He froze, looking at you with an unreadable expression. You swore that those eye lights of his turned into small hearts for a second. You wiped your tears away as you looked at him confused. You tilted your head to the side. His face erupted in blue. What does that mean? He shook his head as it lessened and smiled at you. "Don't be afraid. The name's sans, sans the skeleton. Welcome to the underground." He held out his hand. You took it as he helped you stand up. He seems to be gripping your hand but not tightly. You smiled at him. "My name's (y/n)! Thank you for saving me!" He chuckled and rubbed the back of his skull "no problem. Anyways, come. I'll guide you through the ruins." He walked off, dragging you with him. He went to a purple(?) Room with two stairs going up. You went through a doorway and you both got into a room with buttons on the floor. "This is the ruins. The ruins has lots of puzzles. We must solve them to get to the next room. This one is easy." He let go of your hand and walked to the buttons, pressing the four on the side and leaving the two in the middle. He pulled the lever and the door opened. You were amazed as you smiled. "Come now, we have to proceed."

You walked to another room, scratches littering your body. Sans left you in a room but you decided to continue. You encountered a lot of monsters along the way and they attacked you. Unfortunately, you got hit by the attacks. You went forward, seeing a tree without any leaves. You heard footsteps and saw sans. He looked frantic and got out his phone, putting it to the side of his head. Your phone suddenly rang. Sans was surprised. He looked at you, not expecting you to be there. He saw the cuts on your body and his eyelights disappeared. He ran to you, examining the cuts. "(y/n)? Who did this to you? What happened? Are you alright? Does it hurt?" You smiled at him reassuringly and shook your head. "I'm okay sans. I just got attacked my some monsters but they weren't bad!" His face had an expression. It made a shiver go down your spine but yet you didn't know what that expression means. He then saw how scared you are. His expression went back to normal. You were still scared though. "Woah! Kid! I'm sorry for scaring you! Don't cry!" You didn't notice the small tears on your eyes. You sniffed. Sans looked really guilty. He put a hand on your cheek and wiped a tear away. Your face felt a little hot because of that gesture and you couldn't help but let out a small smile. Sans lit up. It looks like he had made an achievement for making you blush and smile. He smiled. "There you go. That smile looks good on ya." Your smile grew bigger. "O-oh! Thank you!" He chuckled. "Anything for you. Anyways, let's go. You must be tired. You can stay in my house. I have a surprise for you." Your eyes lit up. A surprise? You loved surprises! Sans stood up, taking your hand as he led you in the cute looking house. You looked around, enjoying the warm atmosphere in the house. You haven't noticed that sans didn't let go of your hand yet. "Welcome to my house kid. Make yourself at home. Also, do you smell that?" You tilted your head confused. Suddenly, you smelled the delicious aroma of hotdogs and (f/h/f). (Fav hot food) Sans smiled. "Surprise! I prepared hotdogs and (f/f) for ya! I just had a feeling that you will like (f/f) so I though, why not make it? Also, follow me. I have another surprise." He led you to a corridor to your right. You saw three doors. Sans went to the first door and stopped. "Ta-da! Your very own room! Go on, you can look inside while we wait for the food to cook." You smiled at him. "Thank you for everything sans!" He smiled affectionately at you. He seems to stare at you for a moment before he shook his head, his skull blue. "Y-your welcome." Sans then sniffs something. "Wait.... The food is burning!" He rushed to the kitchen. You chuckled, opened the door to the bedroom and went in. You looked around. It was a red room. You saw a bed, some drawings on a paper on the wall, a wardrobe and.... TOYS!!!! You rushed to them and got one. It was a bunny! It was very fluffy! You hugged it tight, snuggling into it. You sat on the bed. It was very comfy! You laid down and you only noticed that you are tired now. You went under the blankets and slept.

Sans's pov

I smiled and blushed as I saw (y/n) sleep. I opened the door and put the food on the floor. I turned the lights off and looked at her. She looks so peaceful. I want her... No... I NEED her. She's mine and mine alone. I kissed her forehead and went out. As I closed the door, I growled. I remembered the scratches she got from those DISGUSTING monsters. They shouldn't have done that. Nobody could hurt her and I'm going to make sure that they won't do that ever again. I went to the living room and took out a knife from the huge pot. They are going to pay. I went out the door and saw two froggit on the end of the hallway. I walked towards the nearest wall to them and listened to their conversation. They didn't seem to notice me. "Ribbit Ribbit! (Have you encountered the human? They were actually pretty nice!)" The other one shook his head in response. I gripped my knife tighter. How dare they disagree. (Y/n) is the smartest, kindest and.... She's perfect. "Ribbit! Ribbit! Ribbit Ribbit meow! (No she isn't. She doesn't belong here. I tried to defeat her but sans just stopped me. I had to go after that though. That human is the last soul we need to go to the surface so we must get her immediately!)" That's it. I walked towards them, hiding the knife behind my back. They noticed me. The other one smiled while the other one sweated. "Ribbit! Meow meow! (Hello there sans! How's your day?" I smiled. "It has been great but someone is ruining it..." "Ribbit Ribbit! (Why, who would do such a thing?)" They croaked. I took out my knife. "Y O U" I sliced the froggit's head off as it crumbles to dust. The other one looked scared and confused. They were trembling as they just encountered someone get killed right in front of their very own eyes. "R-ribbit ribbi-? (S-s-sans? W-what? Why did y-you-)" I swung at him before he can continue. They hopped to the side, dodging it. They gave out a very loud croak before hopping away. I summoned a bone from the ground and impaled them before they can hop away. They shriveled away to dust with a scared expression. I then heard a whimsun fly towards the scene. "H-hello? W-w-why did y-y-" they got cut off by a scream as I threw the knife towards them, cutting off on of their wings. They fell to the ground, crying with dust around them. They looked at me fearfully and their eyes widened. "S-sans? W-why?" I chuckled and summoned a sharp bone, stepping closer to the small, trembling body. "Heh. I'm just teaching you a lesson. You should've already known that nobody can hurt her! My precious (y/n). I don't want any of your filthy hands to touch her ever again! I'm just making my job easier..." The whimsun cried. They were too scared to move. Too bad. I sliced off their arms and feet. They screamed but I stabbed their body and the room became silent again. Dust was scattered all around. I laughed as the other monsters went in the room, their curious faces turning into horrified ones. I smirked as I gripped my knife tighter. "Let this be a lesson for hurting her..." Then, it was all a blur.

I didn't really remember what happened but I do know that I have killed a lot because there's a lot of dust in the room. I then remembered. (Y/n) was supposed to be awake by now! I ran back to the house, dropping the knife, and opened the door, not caring about the dust on my robe. "(Y/n)?" I called out. The eery silence was the only reply I got. I went to her bedroom. Empty. I searched the halls and looked in the kitchen. I sighed in relief as I saw (y/n) in there, covered in flour with a sheepish smile on her face. I chuckled. "May I ask what you are doing here?" She scratched the back of her neck. "W-well.... I.... I tried to make cookies for you! You know, for a thank you gift! My mom always said that if you are kind to others, they return it soooo.... I'm returning the kindness you showed to me!" I shook my head and patted her head. What a sweetheart. That's why I adore her. "It's alright. You don't have to make some. Being around you like this is enough to make me happy." She blushed. I felt my soul flutter. She looks so adorable. She looked at me and sneezed. Oh gosh, she can't be even cuter. "S-sans? What is that powder on you?" I flinched. "A-ah... Don't worry about it. It's just dust... I.... The ruins were really dusty lately and I guess some got on me!" I sweated but she seemed to believe it. "Okay. Now come on, let's clean you up." I added and held her hand, leading her to the bathroom. She went in. "The clothes are in your room alright?" I heard a hum in response. I smiled and went to her room, getting her some clothes and went to the living room, getting a book. I sighed as I skimmed through the pages of the book, not paying attention to what I was reading. I was worried that she will leave... Leave me alone... No, she won't do that, will she? She loves me doesn't she? I trembled. What if she leaves and finds someone else? What if she doesn't want to see me again after that? I clenched my fists. No. I'll make sure that anybody won't steal her. She's mine and mine alone. I chuckled as insanity was taking over. She will love me whether she likes it or not...

Weeks later...

Your pov

You saw sans guard the door as he looked at you strictly. "So you want to leave so badly? Fine. Prove to me that you can survive out there!" Your soul appeared as sans was preparing attacks. You pressed act and talked. "Sans. Please. We don't have to do this. I will visit you! I just want to see what is outside." He didn't pay attention as he sent bones towards you. You dodged but one managed to cut your hand. You sucked in a breath and looked at your hand. The wound had a bit of blood leaking out of it. In sans's eyes flahsed regret. He felt guilty. He ended the fight and healed you. He just can't bring himself to harm you. "I'm sorry kid. I just... I'm worried that you might get killed out there. I don't want you to go out there because it's too dangerous." You flashed a determined look on your face. "Don't worry sans! I will be safe!" He chuckled. "Alright. Please be careful out there." You nodded. He then hugged you. You hugged back. It then lasted for a moment before he let go. You swore that you saw disappointment in his eyes for a split second. He sighed and kissed the top of your head but before walking away, you heard him say something. "Please promise me that you won't go back here, not even for visits." He hesitated but you nodded. You stood there for a moment and looked back but he was gone. You went over to the door and opened it, a cold air slapping you to the face. You gasped and grinned a huge one. Snow! You laid down the snow and made a snow angel, giggling. You love this place already! You will miss sans though. You already felt... Something... Towards him. You didn't know what but it made you feel all tingly and shy around sans. You sighed as you stood up. You really missed him already but you promised to not go back. You hesitated for a moment before continuing your journey.

A day later... (So many time skips! >_<')

Your pov

You had made lots of friends. They were all nice to you. Sure, they tried to kill you but you forgiven them in the end. Right now, you were in toriel and asgore's house. They said that you can stay there because you didn't really have enough money for the inn. Toriel was with you on the couch, sleeping. You blushed as you remembered sans. That feeling grew stronger and it made you want to go back to the ruins but you still didn't know what it was. You tugged on toriel's jacket. "Hey tori?" She opened an eye and looked at you. "sup?" You looked down, clearly embarrassed. "W-well. I feel something towards someone but I don't really know what it is." She straightened her posture, interested. "Hm? Well, describe it." You described the feeling to her as she smirked. "well, it seems that you are in love (y/n)." Your eyes widened. "R-really? What do I have to do when I feel it?" Toriel smiled and started explaining. Your blush darkened as you imagined yourself kissing sans. That would be embarrassing but... You have to do it I guess... You thanked her and went to waterfall to think about it.

Sans's pov

I sat on my chair, reading a book. I can't take my mind off of (y/n). She might be in danger! Somebody might be trying to steal her from you! I growled and stood up, dropping my book. That's it. I'm going after her. I just can't stand being away from her for so long. I ran to the door and opened it, running through the snow.

It had been a while now and I found myself in a town called snowdin. Maybe she could be in here? I went around and looked for her. She wasn't here... I ran to the next location, waterfall. I pulled my hood down more, seeing as it almost slipped down. I walked around the area more and I heard her voice getting echoed by the echo flowers. I missed her. I ran until I saw her. I hid in the shadows and watched. She was fighting against undyne. She had lots of cuts on her. I growled. She hurt (y/n) didn't she? Who am I kidding of course she did! She's going to pay... I spawned a wall of bones between them, making fish breath stumble. I walked out of the shadows and ran towards (y/n). "Sw- u-uhhh... Kid! Are you alright? Does it hurt? Don't worry, I'll heal you." I almost called her that again. That was a really close call. I healed her as she looked shocked and happy. "Sans! Your here! I-i thought you hate me..." She had small tears on her eyes. Oh gosh... I made her feel like that? Before I can speak, undyne interrupted me. Ugh, stupid canned tuna... "TRAITOR!" she jumped with a spear on her hand as many others were flying towards is too. I blocked the attacks with a wall of bones and looked at (y/n). "Go on kid! Run!" She stood form on her feet. "No! I will protect you!" "Don't be stubborn!" I barely dodged a spear that was coming towards me as I looked at her. Her eyes widened as she ran to me. What was she doing?! I then saw blood. I quickly looked up and saw that she was in front of me, her arm all bloody. I went to my knees and tried to heal her. I stopped a spear from piercing us as she fainted. My breathing got ragged. She can't be dead, can't she? I checked her pulse and sighed in relief as I heard a heartbeat. I glared at undyne as I broke the spear in half. "Wanna play that game huh? So be it..."

I stomped on the dust as I kicked it around. I growled. I then looked back. (Y/n) is unharmed. I went to her and carried her. She looks so peaceful like this... I just want to see her like this. I held her cheek as she leaned into it. I blushed. Why do you have to he so adorable? I just want her to be mine right now. I shook my head. No time for that! She's injured! I ran back to the ruins as fast as I can and put her on the bed. I healed her. I didn't have time to fully heal her earlier. I then thought. She must be hungry... I went to the kitchen and cooked some hotdogs and hotcats. Hopefully she'll like them. After a few minutes, I heard footsteps. I looked back and saw my little princess. I smiled as I saw her looking at me curiously. Such a sweetheart, that's why I love her. She then ran to me with an anxious look. "Oh gosh! Sans! You have a cut on your cheek!" Oh right... I got cut with a spear earlier. Didn't even notice that. I smiled at her reassuringly. "Hey, it's alright. It doesn't hurt. Don't worry your pretty little head about me." She still looked worried. "But, I care for you! And I don't want you to be harmed!" She got to her toes to look at it since she was a bit shorter than me. My face heated up as her mouth brushed against mine for a second. Oh gosh.... She was so soft. I want more of that touch... Her face turned into a cherry and she quickly stepped away from me. "I-im sorry! Please forgive me! Toriel said that you do that to someone you love and I couldn't resist!!!" S-she loves me...? I was feeling lots of emotions all at once. Tears went to my eyes as I started laughing. (Y/n) looked at me, confused. "S-sans?" Oh I just love how my name rolls out her tounge like that. I then realized that I was creeping her out and calmed down. "Sorry. I'm just.... Happy that you feel the same way..." She then smiled and hugged me. I hugged back. We then separated after a while. "So does that mean that I can-" I cut her off by pinning her to the wall and kissing her. She kissed back. This is it. I want this moment to last forever. She's mine now. Mine and mine alone... Nobody can take her away from me ever again. I love her so much... We pulled away as I hid the crazed look in my eyes. I want to explore so much more about her but I just have to wait, don't want to upset my little cupcake. She was still blushing. She hugged me, hiding her face in my cloak. I chuckled and held her close, patting her head. Don't worry, I will protect you from them. I will kill them all for you so we can be together forever...
