"I don't know but, it's time to get rid of it."

Footsteps echoed throughout the ruins. The scientist was shocked. He carried the body to his lab.

Clank!
Rustle!
Bang!

Bzzzp! Bzzzp!

"It's working..... Interesting...." 

"uhhh... ya sure 'bout that?"

"I am very certain."

The two skeletons said as they watched the computer screen spew out codes. Smoke came out of the project that they had been working on.

"They are awake!"

Your pov

You pushed your body up with your hand as you rubbed your eye.

What... Happened?

Flashback...

The children's laughter surrounded you as you performed. You bowed and went in the backstage. Then, you were grabbed. You tried to bite the hand but you suddenly blacked out.

End...

Wait... What happened before that? Who were those people? "Hello there Funtime Foxy." You jumped as you heard a voice from beside you. You felt your face plates seperate. You looked beside you and saw two skeletons. The taller one chuckled as the shorter one gave you a mirror. You noticed that they were both wearing lab coats and had... Well... A major height difference. What the taller one said shocked you...

You gasped. "Frisk!" You growled as your face plates separated. Sans and Frisk chuckled as you stood up, your tail pointing straight due to your anger. Suddenly, frisk were gone. Soon, you heard some kind of movement of the leaves. You looked above you... Too late... You were crushed by huge amounts of snow with a few twigs, leaves and branches. You growled as sans and Frisk giggled. The balcony roof was beyond your reach but you managed to grab the human's foot, taking them by surprise, and dragging them into the snow pile you were in. You laughed as you stood up as shook the snow off of you. You helped frisk up as they laughed. Sans laughed along as he  watched from the doorway. You looked at frisk and smirked. They grinned, already knowing what was on your mind. You both got snowballs as sans laughed his non existent butt off. You both threw it to him, taking him by surprise, and he fell down to the floor. Both you and the human child laughed and ran, seeing sans stand up. You laughed as your tail trailed behind you while you ran. You heard some magic noises behind you. You carried frisk, seeing them trailing behind and put them on your shoulders and ran faster, sensing sans teleporting nearby. Snowballs hit the both of you, mostly you, as you reached waterfall. You didn't notice a water stream below you.

Sans's pov

I levitated frisk and Foxy, or much preffered as (y/n), away from the water stream and put them down on the ground. "(y/n), ya need ta be more careful. you know what happened last time." She nodded as I teleported us three back in the house. The two went to the kitchen to probably get their beverages as I laid down the couch. "AH! GREETINGS (Y/N) AND HUMAN FRISK!" I flipped the channels of the TV, seeing nothing more than that overdramatic tin can. I sighed and turned the TV off. I went to the kitchen to see papyrus cooking Spaghetti, (y/n) drinking oil (deal with it) and frisk drinking milk. I went to the fridge and grabbed a ketchup bottle. I sat down on one of the chairs and drank the contents of the bottle. "DINNER'S READY!"  Papyrus placed plates of spaghetti on the table. We all ate. It's not that good. Kinda burnt and salty but, it's alright plus, I don't want to disappoint pap. We chatted, me saying a few puns along the way making paps mad but, I know that he likes the puns secretly but he hides it very well. We finished eating. (Y/n) stood up and went upstairs to her room, her face plates moving and her tail trailing behind her. I'm not gonna lie but, I might've got a liking towards her. She's kind,funny-

My thoughts got interrupted by someone tugging my sleeve. I looked down and saw frisk. They were smirking. "Sans. Do you like (y/n)?" I blushed blue "n-no..." "Then why were you looking at her for a long period of time?" "u-uhhh...." Frisk jumped up and down.  "I knew it! You like her!" They started dancing while my blush deepened. This child is so unbelievable sometimes. "o-okay... You got me.... just... don't tell 'er kay kid?" They nodded. "No promises though." Did they just use my own line against me? I sighed, my blush disappeared. I went outside and teleported to the ruins door. I slid down and knocked. "Knock knock..."

Footsteps shuffled through the other side. "Who's there?" I can hear the excitement in the old lady's voice. I decided to ask for some advice. I want to confess to (y/n) but, I don't really know what to do. "Juno." "Juno who?"

Well, here goes.... "J-juno how to confess to somebody?" Dang it! I stuttered! I heard a gasp from the other side. There was silence for a few seconds. "D-do you...?" I asked again. "Well, I congratulate you for finding the one!" I heard happiness in her voice. "But now, you need to....."

Timeskip cuz I don't know anything about advices

My smile widened a bit. "Thanks old lady." "Your welcome friend. When you need advice, you can always ask me."  I teleported back home and laid down the couch. I sighed. Even with that advice, I'm still nervous for confessing. What if she doesn't like me back? What if she likes someone else? What if... What if she leaves me...? I curled up, some possible things that may happen when I confess surrounding my mind.

But what if she likes me back? No no no.... She doesn't... Who would love such a lazy bag of bones like me?

I then fell asleep from thinking too much.

Your pov

You went downstairs after sleeping. You didn't know you can sleep that long. You stretched. You saw sans on the couch, sleeping. You smiled and got a blanket, covering him and kissed his forehead. You had feelings for him but, he might not like you back. You are a robot with a human soul trapped inside you, nobody could love that. Ah geez.... You shivered. You remembered on why a human soul was stuck in you. You didn't even want to remember. You walked out. You decided to go to the librarby. Yes, it's spelled that. You found it really funny that they didn't even bother changing it throughout the years. You went in and searched through the books. One found your interest. You pulled it out. You observed it. It looked new. You sat on one of the chairs, opening the book. It's about the barrier. You started to read.

Wait... So they needed 7 souls to break the barrier and they have 6 now. You have a human soul inside you. That can set them free! You can set them free! You returned the book in the shelf and walked out of the library. You went to the house. You walked in and saw sans still asleep, his arm dangled from the couch as the blanket you put on him lowered a bit. You smiled, thinking of how happy he can be in the surface. You just wanted to make him happy with or without you. You wrote a note and stick it outside your bedroom door.

You went to the door and looked at him one last time. You felt like you can't leave him but, you have to. You walked and reached the river person's boat. "Tra la la~ where are you going today?" "To hotlands please..." The boat went off.

You went through hotland,used the elevator in the core and went through the doors of the king's house. You soon arrived at the castle. You peeked in the throne room. You saw no one and went in. You heard yelps nearby. You quickened your pace and peeked in the barrier room. You widened your eyes and ran.

You dropped down to your knees as you held your wound. Frisk widened their eyes. "(Y/n)!" The king was shocked while frisk cried while hugging you. "(Y/n)! Please! H-hold on!" You smiled as your head dropped down, your face plates opening, showing your Endo skeleton. You heard quick footsteps. Then, it stopped. "(y-y/n)...?" You heard sans say as he ran to you. The lights in your eyes flicker as you were about to fall to your side but sans held you. You saw him crying. "P-please... Stay with me...." The king went to you and kneeled down but sans pushed him away. "no! Your not going near (y/n) ever again!" You were shocked. You didn't see sans this angry before. Black spots covered your vision as you heard muffled voices. They were so far yet so near at the same time. Pain was still evident in your wounds. Is this it? Before you die, you tried to say a few things even though ringing is the only thing you can hear. "S-stay strong.... For me..... S-sans.... I-i.... L-love you....."

No one's pov

"I-i... love you too.. (y/n)..." Sans said as (Y/n)'s eyes closed. A (s/c) light filled the room. Then, out came a (s/c) human soul. Everyone was shocked since they didn't even know that you had a human soul. Your soul bobbed up and down gently as everyone just watched. It then floated as the other souls went out of their containers and floated with it. It created a huge beam and destroyed the barrier. Frisk and Sans's tears were flowing down their cheeks as they just looked at the sunset, sans never letting go of your robotic body. They were free but, does it have to end this way?

"Heh.... It has been.... What? 8 years since you broke the barrier? I'm still pretty shocked that you did that."

"You know, I'm happy that you were there, by my side all the time. I miss you. I really do but it's not just me. The kid's been missing you but they moved on. They didn't forget you though. Papyrus, he was sobbing and crying all the time once he found out that you were dead. He's still pretty down until now. The others, even though they don't know you, they were trying to understand it still but I appreciate the efforts that they are makin'"

"Today is your anniversary right? I should be happy... I don't want to be a bag of sad bones when you wanted me to be happy..."

"But... I just.... Can't move on... It's too hard... Knowing that I love you and all but you just die like that? It ain't a great experience... I-i just.... Wish that I can s-see you again..."

He broke down in front of your grave, the tears falling on the (fav flowers) he gave you when he walked here earlier. Arms wrapped around him as he heard a whisper.

"Sans, I'm sorry... I really am..."
