As the school year went by, Anya felt worse and worse.

She couldn't sleep as much, even when looking at the pictures, she didn't want to speak to anyone, and Max was normally busy with homework to talk. At the end of each day, Anya's locker would be full of letters. Each one was filled with a death threat. They all had the same affect on poor Anya:

Go die, Suicide girl

Ashes, ashes, she will fall down!

Just keep on falling, Anya. Fall to hell.

There were some letters that weren't threatening, but they didn't help the fact that there were thousands of others that weren't the best thing in the world. Anya was just about getting annoyed by these letters, and she showed Sean them. When he read all of the notes she got, he immediately called the school.

"Hello? Mrs. Modaff.... yes....... Anya was given threats in her locker...... It is dangerous!" he then went into his room to talk privately to Max's mom. She took a deep breath and decided to leave a note and go to the lake. Anya placed the note on the fridge and walked out the backdoor. She kept on walking until she saw a familiar glow of water. 

She lied on her stomach and moved her fingers through the clear water. She heard rustling of the grass, and when she looked, her eyes darted towards a little bunny. It was brown with shiny, black eyes. It's ears twitched, and it slowly bounced towards Anya. The rabbit sniffed her and nestled into her arm.

Anya smiled at the cute furball. She softly caressed the little animal as it began to fall asleep. The bunny seemed to like her company, and the day slowly changed into evening. The bunny's breathing made its body go up and down while its ears were down. Carefully, Anya got up and placed the rabbit in a bush.

"Good night," she whispered to her little friend. 

As Anya walked back home, her friend came hopping in front of her. It stood on it's hind legs and leaned on her leg. She picked him up and patted the little guy's head. He looked at Anya and blinked. She kept on thinking of a names she could call the bunny.

"Berry," she said. The rabbit's ears went up with happiness which made Anya laugh. "Okay, Berry it is." She stayed with Berry for a while before she knew that she had to go back home.

The two bade farewell and left for their homes.
