Somewhere out in waseda

After a long day of running around at work I was finally able to spend the rest of my late afternoon as i pleased. Looking up, I saw the clouds go from blue to an orange red hue as the sun began to set behind the tall buildings of tokyo. While I was on my way home I got a notification ring from my phone. I took out my phone from my pocket and noticed that my private information across multiple platforms  was recently breached from an anonymous source. 

Y/N: I wonder who would be dumb enough to hack me. 

I said, thinking out loud. 

Unfortunately for any hackers who would dare to hack me, I had this illusion wall set up in my firewall so that whenever people would hack me, it would go into a sort of a “simulation” of what my profiles would look like and it would make it seem like their viewing information about me but in reality everything within that simulation is all fake information. oh, Yeah did i also mention that it also acts as a reverse hack software? My illusion wall is also set to automatically hack into my attacker, steal their info, and delete whatever was in the attackers database.

I opened up my phone to investigate further, I looked through the new files on my phone and all I saw was a bunch of bank statements, blueprints, different contracts and even a whole file full of different personnel to include their individual personal information. What interests me more was that the IP address originated back to the Tsurumaki Group. 

What do the Tsurumaki Group want with me? I wondered. I kept walking along the path and kept looking through files. Normally, I would take it upon myself to engage the group myself, but seeing as I'm temporarily out of the order, I think it would be in my best interest to report this to the orders Intel department and let them deal with this. I have a few theories as to why they're after me, I'm pretty sure it has to do with me being in the same school as that Tsurumaki girl… 

As I was looking through the files, I noticed a folder labeled "My little Princess". It piqued my curiosity, without a second thought I opened the folder only to find various documents which contained a lot of miscellaneous items, some crazier than the other. Like a whole theme park and crazy amounts musical equipment, and fireworks…? 

On top of that were also pictures of Kokoro. I think this file was more of a memento for her father. The photos within these files are dated back as far as when she was a child… 

But the more I look…the more I begin to think that I've seen this girl before. When I first met Kokoro, I always had the feeling that I knew her for some reason…I just don't know where…As I was looking through the photos, I saw a picture of Kokoro with two other kids, one was a picture of a boy and the other was a girl… 

Y/N: wait a minute… 

I zoomed in to take a closer look at the boy and the other girl and I couldn't believe who it was… 

Y/N: Holy shit…That's Me and Amine! What the fuck!? 

I said in english

I couldn't believe It… this was a picture of me and my sister with Kokoro in a flower garden when we were kids… I kept looking through the files and I found even more photos of me and Kokoro when we were kids. 

There's no way that this is possible, I was in so much disbelief that I couldn't accept all of this. There's no way Kokoro and I were childhood friends. For as long as I could remember, I've been An assassin since I was 6 years old. Could it be that I've known her before that? 

I tried to think back to before when I was an assassin. I thought long and hard until I started to get a small flashback. I Remembered that I did have a childhood friend. Before Minami, there was another girl. When I was young, I remembered there was a girl that me and my sister used to play with when we were kids. 

If I can recall, I think the way I met this girl was because her father was friends with my father. I remember That Amine and I used to go over to her house and play a lot. She was very crazy and wild and I remember we used to annoy Amine a lot because of it. And that girl was… 

Y/N: HOLY SHIT KOKO-CHAN! 

 Everything makes sense, it explains why I always get that familiar feeling when I'm around Kokoro. It's because she and I were childhood friends! It's been such a long time that I highly doubt that both of us remember. The only person who would know is my dad, I need to talk to him and see what he knows, my memories of this are still a bit hazy but i still need to talk to him to confirm this.

I tried to hurry down to the station when suddenly I was stopped by 3 girls in suits.  

???: Excuse me but I was wondering if we could have a word with you. 

Y/N: depends who's asking? 

The three girls all looked at each other and nodded. 

???: Please just come with us. 

Suspicious of their forceful request, I looked around only to find more of those people in suits lurking in the shadows of the tall buildings and alleyways. I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow to this situation. 

Y/N: Fine then…

Obliging their request, I followed the three ladies. 

A few minutes later. 

We ended up at a park that was a good walk from where I initially was at. The park was really big and they led me into the deep forest portion of the park. The park was empty and void of people. The walk all the way here got me thirsty so I took my hydroflask and took a swig out of it. The guys in suits took a look back at me at full alert. 

Y/N: what? Yall made me walk all the way over here…I'm thirsty. 

The suits relaxed slowly but still kept their guard up around me for some reason which proves that their intentions are that of hostility.  A few minutes of walking and we finally made it to a small clearing. 

Y/N: Was it necessary to walk all the way out here? 

I asked. 

Lead suit: Yes it was absolutely necessary. 

Y/N: So what did you guys want to talk about? That's so important that you had to walk me all the way out here. 

I said in mild annoyance. 

Lead suit: Apologies, but we had orders to discuss this matter with you as discreetly as possible. 

Y/N: I can only assume that it was at the behest of none other than Mr Tsurumaki himself? 

The three girls were taken aback and shook a bit when I mentioned their boss's name. 

Lead suit: How did you… 

Y/N: Oh please, you honestly think I wouldn't know? Trust me, I have my ways of figuring these kinds of stuff out. 

Lead Suit: Then I take it you know what we've come for then? 

Y/N: Retribution for stealing company data?

Lead Suit: Well that…and other things

Y/N: Oh? 

Lead Suit: Because of the mystery of your exterior L/N-San, Mr Tsurumaki has raised suspicions of you. He sees you as a threat to not only him and his company, but also his daughter as well. We are sworn to protect Kokoro-Sama and for that you must be eliminated. 

The three then took out Batons as more suits came out from the trees and surrounded me. The whole trip here, I knew something like this would happen. During the walk, I noticed many shadowy figures hiding within the trees and even while we were talking, I could feel the presence of hostility around me, Hungry for blood…My blood. 

Lead suit: We're sorry L/N-San, but as long as you're in the same place as Kokoro-Sama she will never be safe. 

Hearing that made me pissed as rage slowly built up from inside me. I barely know this girl and really, we don't even interact as much yet somehow they raise an eyebrow to my trustworthiness. 

Y/N: I see, so that's how it is, first you barge into my private life by attempting to steal what data I have, Then you come at me, questioning my level of trust with a girl I know so goddamn little about, And then you have the audacity to threaten me? 

I said with what composure I have left. 

Lead Suit: Again, nothing personal its just business, I'm sorry but we have to eliminate you by order of Tsurumaki-Sama. 

Y/N: I see… 

Y/N took one last swig of water from his hydroflask. He puts the cap back on and pauses for a bit. 

Y/N: Refreshing…

3rd person POV

Out of nowhere, Y/N chucked his hydro flask so hard at the suit who was standing next to the lead. The bottle flew so fast and so hard that the bottom flat part potentially fractured or even cracked her skull as a crack could be heard.

While she was flying back from the sudden blunt force trauma, Y/N took this opportunity and charged forward and jumped at her in a drop kick motion. Y/N's legs landed on her back and skull and ended up body surfing her about 6ft across the clearing with her face dragging across the ground. 

This all happened within fractions of a second. The others were so shocked by this sudden attack that they all backed away a few inches, as it shooked their fighting spirit, turning it into fear. 

Y/N then got off the body he just surfed. He looked around and saw his adversaries trying their best to collect themselves and stand their ground. They were scared but they also knew what had to be done. 

The suits all got their batons at the ready and slowly inched towards Y/N. Y/N's sudden strike made it clear that he wasn't going to pull any punches nor show any sign of mercy. They were hesitant and scared, and their will to fight slightly cracked. Y/N had planned this from the start. 

Y/N: Do you still wish to continue? 

Y/N said in a dark undertone

Lead suit: ATTACK! 

The lead shouted in an attempt to rile up their fighting spirits once more. They all yelled and started to run towards Y/N.

Y/N: fine then..

Y/N then charged forward into the heat of battle. Just before they could make contact with him, like lightning, he started flying through them one by one. Each of there

Attacks were useless as Y/N would just dodge and counter attack. They tried attacking as a group but due to his speed it was pointless. Though it looked like he was not showing it, Y/N fought with all of his anger and rage as he began to break the bones of whoever dared to attack him and retaliated with sheer brutality and no mercy. The screams of his victims were so loud that it could be heard throughout the park but those screams were useless as no one could hear them. Some tried to flee the battle but Y/N wasn't having it as he spared no one from his wrath.

The only one who was left standing was the leader. The leader stood there trembling as she was paralyzed with fear. Y/N had intentionally left her last. All she could do was watch her comrades fall one by one to him. At this point she had realized she wasn't facing a boy but death himself. Y/N slowly walked to the leader, her heart started to beat fast as she walked backwards while pointing her baton at Y/N. As she was backing up she lost her footing and tripped on a root. She quickly got back up and faced him but to her surprise he was gone. 

She looked around the clearing with such paranoia and all she saw was her comrades on the ground writhing with pain. This sent her into a panic as she lost control of her breathing. Without any thoughts of her next action she decided to run into the forest to escape. 

As she ran into the forest she couldn't help but shed tears of guilt knowing that she felt useless in the battle and failed. She then stopped and looked around to make sure that Y/N wasn't following her. She was met with only the surrounding vegetation and deafening silence. After a few seconds she finally regained control of her breathing. 

She took a deep breath in and slowly let it out when suddenly. Both of her ankles were grabbed. Y/N was silently stalking her. 

Y/N pulled her ankles in towards him. She let out a yell and fell flat on her face and dropped her baton. Y/N then dragged her closer to him as he ran to grab the baton. She tried to grab it too but Y/N stepped on her hand as he took the baton from her. 

Y/N: Dont think for a second that I would be stupid enough to let you run. 

Y/N smacked her twice in the head knocking her out cold. 

Y/N POV. 

Well i'm glad that that's over… I took one last look at the baton and threw it down on the ground. This isn't over, I will have Tsurumakis head for this… Just when I was about to walk away I heard a phone ring coming from the knocked out body of the leader. 

I took the phone out only to find out that Tsurumaki himself was calling. Well, aren't I lucky. I pressed the answer button and put the phone to my ear. 

A few minutes ago 
Tsurumaki's POV 
Tsurumaki's Office

Its been an hour since i've sent her out to hunt down that boy. I couldn't help but wait anxiously to hear the outcome. While i was waiting anxiously i received a call. I looked at the caller ID and it was my good old friend Tensa. My anxiety turned to happiness, I rarely get a call from my best friend. Without further adieu i picked up the phone. 

Tsurumaki: Tensa my old friend! How have you been? It's been a long time! 

Tensa: Haha so it has, how are you man? 

Tsurumaki: Oh everythings going great with me. I've just been a little bit busy. 

Tensa: I can say the same for myself. 

Tsurumaki: Ain't that the truth, it's not easy running a company. 

Tensa: No kidding, say how's the company doing? 

Tsurumaki: All is well. We just bought some new property near Odaiba and Minato Mirai. We're planning on opening up new offices there and extending our reach north and south of japan. I'm excited for Minato Mirai especially, it will be the first  branch to open up in the Kanagawa prefecture. How about you?

Tensa: Oh everythings going great. I've recently opened up business deals with the German Army medical department and the Australian air force, because of this profits have skyrocketed tenfolds. 

Tsurumaki: That's great man congrats! 

Tensa: Thanks bro, say how's the family? 

Tsurumaki: Oh they're doing great! Kyoko is in Europe right now with her mother and father. As for my little Kokoro, she's starting her second year at Hanasakigawa. I swear she grows up so fast! 

Tensa: Haha that's great to hear, I'm glad they are doing great. Yeah you're not wrong, these kids grow up and before you know it they'll be out of the house sooner than you'll know. 

Tsurumaki: Oh god please don't remind me. 

Say what about you? How's the wife and kid? 

Tensa: Oh the wife is good! She's been helping me out at home by dealing with all the admin work. As for Amine, she's still studying abroad. Last I heard shes been really excelling in the science field so I'm not really worried about her. Her teachers say that she might skip a grade and she's already in line for an Ivy league school in america. 

Tsurumaki: Yeah that girl has always been gifted with great intelligence 

Tensa: Where do you think she gets that from? 

Tsurumaki: Oh don't be full of yourself Tensa 

Tensa: Tensa I wasn't referring to just me ya know? 

Tsurumaki: Oh sure you were. And what of little Y/N? How's he doing? Last I heard he was studying abroad as well. 

Tensa: Oh he's good. Believe or not he's actually back home now. 

Tsurumaki: Get out of town! You're lying? 

Tensa: I wish I was. 

Tsurumaki: Oh that's great! Wait until Kokoro hears about this! She'll be over the moon when she finds out that Y/N is back! That is… if she remembers. 

Tensa: I wouldn't be surprised if they did meet considering the fact that they go to the same high school. 

I spit out my coffee after hearing that. I did just hear that right? Am I going crazy?

Tsurumaki:...heh..? Come again? 

Tensa: Oh yeah I forgot to tell you, Y/N goes to Hanasakigawa. The principal is planning to turn the school co-ed so they admitted Y/N as a trial. It's still all girls technically but I figured he'd be okay. I know Y/N isn't that type of guy. And i won't let him be… or else 

Nope i am not going crazy! Hearing those words shattered my world knowing what I just did a few hours ago before the call. 

Tsurumaki: Sooo Tensa you might be mad with what i'm about to say… 

Tensa: What is it? 

Tsurumaki: I may or may not have sent my top bodyguards after Little Y/N 

Tensa: YOU DID WHAT???? 

Tsurumaki: I'm SORRY!! IT'S JUST THAT WHEN I GOT WORD THAT THERE WAS A BOY AT HANASAKIGAWA I COULDN'T HELP BUT OVERREACT A BIT! 

Tensa: YOU SENT YOUR GUARDS AFTER MY SON! 

Tsurumaki: I KNOW I'M SORRY IT'S JUST THAT HIS PROFILES LOOK SKETCHY! OH MY GOD I HOPE THEY DIDNT ATTACK HIM YET! 

Tensa: IT'S NOT MY SON I'M WORRIED ABOUT! I'M MORE CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR PEOPLE! 

Tsurumaki: Wait what? He's your son! What do you mean? That's a little messed up don't you think? 

Tensa: No Hiro, You don't understand! I never told you this but...what I said about Y/N is half true. The truth is Y/N spent all those years abroad training and becoming an assassin! 

Tsurumaki: WAIT WHAT? ARE YOU SERIOUS?! AND YOU NEVER TOLD ME!?!?

Tensa: Yes! You have no idea what he's capable of! I've read the reports on him and they aren't pretty. Y/N has grown to be one of the most deadly assassins out there, far surpassing me in my prime. He's far more merciless and cruel and lacks a lot of remorse. He's twice the Assassin i ever was ill tell you that!

Tsurumaki: I see… so he was the sacrifice… 

Tensa: There's no time! Hang up right now and call them off before it's too late. Who knows, they could all be dead by now. 

Tsurumaki: OKAY! 

I hung in a hurry knowing that the lives of Akira and my men are on the line. I grabbed my security phone from under my desk. I fumbled a bit out of nervousness and anxiety but managed to dial. 

The phone started ringing and I got fairly antsy. I really hope I'm not too late. 

Tsurumaki: cmon cmon! 

The line picks up. 

Tsurumaki: Akira you need to pull out now! I just found out who that boy was! Its Y/N little Y/N! Tensa's son! 

Y/N: You're already too late Old man… 

That cold voice shook me to the core. I can't believe that this is Y/N. I remember when he was just a little boy. He was so innocent just playing in the garden with my little kokoro. But now… 

Tsurmaki: Oh god… please tell me they're okay…

(This scene will switch from Tsurumaki POV to Y/N POV as they are on the phone) 

Y/N: No they're not okay. 

Y/N hears crying over the phone as Mr tsurumaki realizes his grave mistake. 

Y/N: *Sigh* Tsurumaki san… what the hell man… 

Tsurumaki: Im so sorry Y/N i didn't realize till your father told me. I didn't even know you were back. 

Y/N: That damn old fart… well you're lucky they're only knocked out. 

Tsurumaki: Oh thank god! 

Tsurumaki said as he sighed in relief knowing that they would be okay. 

Y/N: Yeahhhhhhh but they're are going need a hospital. I hurt them pretty badly. You're lucky I held back a bit. If i hadn't found your files on my phone they would probably be okay. 

Tsurumaki: I see… 

Y/N: yeahhhh… :T 

Tsurumaki:.... 

Y/N:.... 

Y/N: So how have you beeeeeen? How's the company? 

I asked to break the silence and awkwardness between us. 

Tsurmaki: Oh everything is all great. I was just talking about the new property I bought with your father. 

Y/N: Oh that's great to hear! 

While on the phone Y/N started dragging unconscious bodies out into the clearing so that they could be taken to a hospital.

Tsurumaki: Yeah how about you? Tensa told me you were back from the Order. How are you holding up? 

Y/N: Wait…How the hell do you know about the Order?! 

Y/N said with a huge shock in his voice.

Tsurumaki: Well that's a long story. I'd rather you hear it from your father. 

Y/N: I see… well since you know and you asked, i'm hanging in there but it's been rough and ive been trying to adjust but i'm trying my best.

Tsurumaki: Aw thats sucks to hear. But you'll get there eventually. I bet it isn't easy. Say you gotta stop by one of these days. I would love to see you. 

Y/N: Yeah if I have time. 

Tsurumaki: Aw this is great! Now that you're back and going to the same school as her she will be thrilled! And who knows maybe one day you two will ya know…

Y/N: What? 

Tsurumaki: You know the date?! Isnt that what you high school kids do these days?.

Y/N: Bro what? Yeah not gonna happen! 

Tsurumaki: Oh cmon! Kokoro can't be that bad! 

Y/N: No… just no… 

Tsurumaki: Oh well… it was worth a shot I guess. 

Y/N: Yeah no there's nothing wrong with Koko-Chan. Its just…. 

Tsurumaki: Hmm? 

Y/N: Nevermind. I'll send in medical staff soon so be ready.  

Tsurumaki: Okay well I'll catch you later then. 

Back to Y/N 

An hour later. 

After an hour later I managed to collect everyone in one spot. I put the phone back into the leader's pocket. 

???: Y/N-Sama… 

I looked behind me to see a large group of men clad in black hooded cloaks with faceless black masks. It was the cleaners, a special group within the order task with clearing out bodies and surrounding evidence. They are the backbone of our order as they are the ones who help keep us in a shroud of darkness. 

Y/N: Clean this mess up at once. See to it that their wounds are tended to and kindly send them to this location. 

I gave them a piece of paper with the location of one of my fathers medical facilities. 

Lead cleaner: As you wish my Lord. 

Timeskip: Home 

After a long arduous day, I was finally home. I took my shoes off and ran off to my room. Just before i could run up the stairs I saw my dad sitting on the dining table on his Ipad. He senses my stare and looks up at me. 

Tensa: Hello son. 

Y/N: Dad… 

Tensa: I heard you had a run in with some of Tsurumakis security force. 

Y/N: Yeah i did. 

I slowly walk towards the dinner table and took a seat next to him. 

Tensa: Something on your mind son? 

Y/N: Yeah, why didn't you tell me… 

Tensa: About? 

Y/N: Kokoro… 

Tensa: Ah, Koko-Chan, to be quite honest son, I wasn't expecting you to forget about her. I thought if you saw her at school you'd instantly remember.. 

Y/N: No… I couldn't remember… although whenever i looked at her I had this familiar feeling with her… 

Tensa: Haha, it seems like your masters gave you a good hit to the head. 

Dad said poking fun of Y/N

Y/N: Oh shut up dad! 

I retorted. 

Tensa: Before I can tell you anything about Kokoro, what do you remember about her? 

I tried to think long and hard about it and all I could get were bits and pieces from the past. Even after looking through the files I only got a name and some fragments of memories. As far as everything else it's all still a haze. 

Y/N: Well the only thing I remember Is amine and I used to go to koko-chan's house alot and play in her backyard. And I remember her backyard was always full of colorful flowers. 

Tensa: Is that all? 

Y/N: Yeah as far as i can remember. 

Tensa: I see well then, I guess ill tell you then. You, Amine, and Koko-chan have been friends since…well…damn near birth really. For the longest time since you guys were young we would always go to Tsurumakis house all the time since he and I go way back. While me and Hiro would always shoot the shit, we would usually just leave you kids out back to play. Hehehe…you and Kokoro were such cute kids. Ya know, when you were a kid you were always so fond of kokoro. 

Y/N: Oh god you didn't have to tell me that!

I said feeling somewhat bashful about that remark. 

Tensa: Its true son! I remember you would always ask me when was the next time we were gonna see koko-chan again and you would always be sad when we would leave. Hell, you were also very protective of her, and the cutest thing ever is that when you guys would burn off all that energy from playing, you two would always sleep together all cuddled up! 

He said while laughing! 

Y/N: DAD! THERES NO WAY I WOULD DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT! 

Tensa: Oh believe what you want son! But me, Hiro and your mother can testify to that. I swear we honestly thought you were gonna marry her one day! Hahaha 

Y/N: DAD! 

I couldn't believe everything that he was saying but knowing me if I were to ask mom and Tsurumaki about it they would probably be the say same thing to which I would lose in this argument.

Tensa:...but… that's all in the past now, Yall are grown up, Amine is in America studying advanced science, and you went off to "boarding school" or so they thought but in reality, we all know what you actually did. As for young Kokoro, she stayed living her life out. And to be fair, even I doubt that she doesn't remember you anymore. 

Y/N: Yeah what I don't get is, if you and tsurumaki are friends why didn't you tell him sooner that i returned? 

Tensa: Son you gotta understand, Hiro and I are busy people, we are so focused on our own companies that we rarely talk these days. And today was one of those days where we happened to have the time to communicate with one another. He hasn't seen you in a long long time. He's always had the notion of you being in some foreign country studying. But I will take the hit for this one. Had I told him sooner that you came back you wouldn't have been attacked. And for that I am sorry son.

While talking about the past. Dad got a notification on his phone. Apparently something happened that required his attention. 

Tensa: welp duty calls son.

Dad gets and walks away. But before he could walk away I had one more thing to ask him thats been running through my mind.

Y/N: Dad I have one more thing to ask you

Dad stops and turns around towards me. 

Tensa: What is it? 

Y/N: How the hell Does Tsurumaki know about the assassins

Hearing Tsurumaki ask about the order shocked me to the bone knowing that it was my own father who had violated our creed and it bothered me.

Tensa: Before you go on and say how I violated our creed, don't because I didn't. 

Y/N: Explain yourself father? Why would you let an innocent know about our existence? 

Tensa: Simple, because he used to work for them indirectly. 

Y/N: What do you mean?! 

Tensa: Like I said, he and I go way back. He knew that I was an assassin and he kept his mouth shut. There were some sketchy situations that we got locked into but that's a story for another time. But in the end he kept his mouth shut and became one of the investors to help fund the assassins project indirectly. Though he helps us out, he swore to never be apart of us, and he knows that it is a secret he will take to his grave.

I was speechless knowing that someone like Tsurumaki was in on this. 

Tensa: Of all people you should know that everyone has a bit of darkness in their past, Everyone! We may protect the innocent but not all people are truly innocent. But that bit of dark truth was partially because of me. Be a better man than me Y/N. Don't be like me. It was my fault that I ripped his innocence away and dragged him into this darkness. Both him and your mom… 

He said with a bit of disdain under his lips before he walked away. I know my father has made a lot of mistakes in the past but even so I couldn't help but somewhat relate to that pain…

I know one day that ill be force to make a choice that could potentially drag down my new friends. The question is when the time comes will I be strong enough to make the choice to keep them out? Or drag them down with me? 

After a long and harsh day I tried not to think about it too much and headed on up where I took a shower and ended my day. As far as Koko-Chan goes, I don't know what to do with her.

Hello yall sorry its been awhile, ive been busy with work lately and well, also the fact that this was a difficult chapter to write so i took a bit of time to write this. So in this story we all know kokoros dads name isnt really but i i fugured why not give him a name lol. I will say keep this chapter in mind because it is a precursor to whats to follow with kokoro.
