A new world

(Part 3 of a brothers loss)

Proxy had just woken up from a long nap after practicing his new power. He yawned as he looked around at the blank walls.

How did he even end up here? Why was he in this horrible place? Proxy couldn't even remember anything from before, he stood up facing the wall that would stretch out away from him if he got any closer.

"What if I..." Proxy thought for a moment. What if he would just run with all his might and jump into the wall. Maybe that would work?...maybe...

Proxy clenched his hands into fist as he got into a running stance. This time would be different, he just knew it would work...hopefully.

He pushed off and sprinted towards the wall at top speed. It started to stretch away as soon as he got close, but he was determined so he ran faster with all his might.

The same sharp pain from before came back, stabbing at his soul. A purple/ violet liquid started to pour out from below his left eye socket, like tears.

Proxy couldn't take much more of the pain, so he took the risk... and jumped...

--------------------***----------------------

He woke up surrounded by white. A soft cold breeze would flow by every once and a while, sending shivers up anyone's spine.

"W-where..." Proxy's voice was raspy and he had sharp short breaths. Green numbers were fading into the air above him. Almost as if they were emitting from his body and fading away into the white sky.

He tried to pull himself up but it was no use, he was to weak to move at the moment. Maybe, he could just lay here and sleep for a while.

It was nice to see something other than blank darkness for once. He closed his eyes and drifted to sleep, not a care in the world had passed his mind, the only thing he was thinking about was that he did it. He made it passed the wall...

"Where do you think he came from"?

"I don't know core frisk... it's, well he's a mystery really".

Proxy heard the passing conversation of the two people and stayed as still as he could. They were right next to him and all he could do was lay there!

"Please, just frisk".

"Oh sorry, but still he isn't supposed to be here? I mean I don't even know if he really is a version of sans"?!

"Keep it down ink! He's still sleeping, if he wakes up it's all your fault"!

"Right, right, sorry"

"Ok look, we need to find his universe and take him back, first we need to get out of sight, the sans of this universe might see us".

Proxy felt two arms wrap around his shoulders then drag him away as he quickly fell limp. The crunching of foot steps and rustling of leaves was all he heard as they pulled him away.

"Ok this should be good, now let's see where he came from".

The rustling of papers and murmuring came from his left side, and the sound of someone sitting down next to him on his right.

"Found him"!

"Well, what's his universe"?

"..."

"Ink"?

"It...it says, well, it says that he has no information...he's just unknown".

"What how is that even possible, I mean the only way that could happen is if he wasn't real"!

"I know, but all it has is his name and nothing else"!

"Huh...well what's his name"?

"It says his name is Proxy".

"Not sans"?

"No, like I said before I have no idea if he really is a version of sans or not".

"What does his soul look like"?

"Hang on".

Proxy stiffened as he heard what they were saying. He was so confused, what did they mean by version of sans or different universes?

"Well that's weird"?

"What's wrong"?

"I can't find his soul"?!

"Huh, what do u mean"?!

"It's not in his chest"!

"What, how is that possible"!

(Reminder-  Proxy's soul is in his left eye not in his chest/ plus his eye sockets are closed at the moment)

"Man this guy is weird".

"Well maybe, I can just mark him with some paint to keep track of him"?

"What! That's insane ink we can just leave him here I mean he'll get lost or hurt, or even...killed".

"That's nonsense frisk, the sans here will find him soon enough and probably try and take care of him, I mean he looks pretty young, maybe 16-14"?

"I guess your right, just make sure to mark him and keep track on him, shiptale can be a little tricky at times".

"Sure but we need to find a place where he won't see it".

"Maybe on his spine"?

"Ok that sounds good".

Proxy was anxious. What were they going to do to him? What did they mean by mark? So many questions but such little time.

He felt to hands pull up his shirt and a cold liquid wipe onto the back of his spine. It quickly dried as they pulled down his shirt.

"See I told you he doesn't have a soul there"!

"That's...hum well we should get going before anyone sees us".

"Yeah, let's put him back where we found him then go".

"Right".

The arms wrapped around his shoulders again and he was dragged back to his original spot.

"Hey, I didn't notice this before but...what's that violet liquid coming from his eye"?

"I have no idea? Maybe...no that wouldn't be possible".

"What"?

"Just...never mind lets just go".

"Ok".

Foot steps trailed off into the distance and all was quite...
