Dennis Laughed at what Flora just said. "You did that?" Daniel asked

"Yup and I remember this one time my friends got chased home for schoolfees and I followed them because i didn't want to be left alone" Flora added as everyone burst into laughter.

Just minutes ago Dennis was throwing every curse word he knew at  Daniel for inviting the girls to join them.

But now he was having fun and he realized that it has been long since he last laughed so much and acted care free, with no worries on his mind.

"You were a very naughty child" Dennis added

"I won't say naughty...I was outgoing" Flora grinned

Daniel looked at his wrist watch which reads 9:21. "Would you look at that! It's time for me to head home" Daniel grumbled as he took a huge gulp from his glass.

"We also have to leave, I have to wake up early for my first day at work and Angela won't make it home without my help" Mara added as she stood up and grabbed a giggling Angela.

"Okay guys. It was nice talking to you" Dennis smiled

"Call me tomorrow" Daniel said as he stumbled out

"You too"Mara replied

"See you girls Saturday" Flora added as she watched her friends retreating backs

"Don't you have work tomorrow?" Flora asked with raised brows

"Don't you have work tomorrow?" Dennis shot back

"I do but not early in the morning" she replied

"Oh" Dennis mumbled

"Why are you still here?" Flora asked with a worried look on her face

"Are you chasing me? Am I that boring?" Dennis slurred

Flora laughed as she watched him blink his eyes countless times. She knows he is trying to keep them open but with the anount of alcohol he consumed and is still consuming she highly doubted that was possible.

"No and no. You are drunk and you need to get to bed early in order to hopefully wake up early enough for work tomorrow" She stood up from her seat and walked to his side.

She grabbed his wrist and hauled him to his feet. He grunted and let out a laugh as he watched her struggling to keep him on his feet.

"It's not funny. Try to keep yourself up please" She said as she placed his hand around her shoulder and hers around his waist.

She took his phone and started walking out, supporting her weight and his with great difficulty.

They finally got to his car and she helped him lean against the cool door.

"Where are your keys?" She asked a very sleepy Dennis.

"Pocket" he mumbled

She rummaged through his pockets and finally found the car keys and his wallet in his back pocket.

She opened the car and placed him in the passenger seat with great difficulty. She watched as he relaxed on the seat and closed his eyes, looking like a sleeping baby.

She slowly leaned down and adjusted his neck, after which she did his seat belt, closed the door and got to the drivers seat.

She opened his wallet and pulled out his ID card, her eyes lit up as she saw the address.

She placed the ID back in the wallet and placed it on the dashboard.

Flora finally got to the house and with the help of tunde they bought Dennis to the master bedroom and later him on the bed.

"Thank you" Flora said as she stared at an unconscious Dennis.

"You are welcome Ma" Tunde replied and walked out of the room closing the door with a click sound behind him.

Flora watched as Dennis's chest raised up and down with each breath he took. She looked at the outline of his pecs and felt like undressing him and feeding her eyes.

She shook her head at the thought and sat beside him. She pulled off his shoes and socks and neatly placed them on the groubd at the foot of the bed.

Slowly she unbuckled his belt and pulled off his trousers watching in amusement as he blinked his eyes when her hands made contact with his thigh.

"What are you doing" Dennis slurred in his sleepy haze.

"Getting you comfortable for bed" She replied

"Okay" he replied

She started unbottoning his T-shirt one after the other and when all buttons were undone she raised him slowly to pull the shirt off.

She folded the clothes neatly and placed them on the edge of the bed.

"Dennis" she leaned close to his ears and whispered

"Uhm" He answered

"I'm leaving" she replied

His eyebrows scrunched up and he let out a whisper. "Don't go"

"I didn't get that" Flora replied with a soft smile on her face.

"Stay with me" he mumbled and as if to solidify his point he grabbed her hand and uncounciosly brought it to his chest.

A wide smile took over her face as she looked at him with joy shinning in her eyes. She felt so happy and if someone saw her they'll think she just won an award or was given money.

She pulled off her palm sandals with one hand and layed down beside Dennis who wrapped his hands around her and dragged her close to his chest with half her body on him.

The next morning. Dennis woke up to the sounds of honking cars and Tunde's singing accompanied by splashing water.

He groogly raised his hands to block the brightness shinning in his eyes.

He stayed like that for a few minutes till he felt small movements beside him. He didn't think about it at first till it happened again.

He slowly brought his hand down and squirted his eyes open.

He nearly screamed at what he saw, cause right in his arms was a sleeping Flora.

No no no no no...This is just a dream.

It can't be real!

No it's not real.

She can't be here

How did she get here

In my bed!

She is sleeping in my bed!

No this is just my imagination. I never should have gotten drunk.

I should pinch myself

He used his hand to pinch his chest and felt pain.

No. Not a dream.

What do I do?

He took a big breath and slowly removed the blanket covering them.

He felt relief as he stared at her fully clothed body. Since she was fully clothed it means nothing happened. Two drunk people just crashed on the same bed.

No biggie.

But she didn't drink last night. A tiny voice in his head reminded him.

He slowly shook her shoulder and watched as she grumpled and brought her knees to her chest. Like a kitten she dragged the blanket and covered her whole body with it.

A smile spread across his face as he watched her. She reminded him of Steven whenever he was being woken up for school.

He tapped her back and she groaned as she rolled around the soft bed.

"Let me sleep" She grumbled

He laughed at her antics and watched as she froze the moment his voice registered in her brain.

She sprang up and their foreheads collided. They both groaned in pain and displeasure as they massaged their foreheads.

"Sorry" Flora apologized with her eyes cast down and a warm blush decorating her cheeks.

"For the immense pain or sleeping in my bed?" He asked

"Both I guess" she said unsure of his reaction since her eyes were still fixed on the smooth blanket bundled on her lap.

She stared at the leaf design as though it was the most interesting thing she had ever had seen.

"I'm guessing you brought me home and unknowingly dosed off" He smiled

"Yes, that's it. I couldn't resist the sight of a comfortable bed" she quickly said.

"I should leave now" She quickly stood up and started searching for her shoes.

"No, stay for breakfast and freshen up" he said in a serious voice

"I can't do that, I'll feel like a burden or something" She mumbled

"No you are not, it's the least I can do after you helped me yesterday" Dennis smiled and ushered her to the bathroom. Stopping at the door.

"The soap, new toothbrush and toothpaste are in the cabinet along with some new towels. When you are done waiting for me downstairs" He instructed. She stared at him with adoration as he spoke catching only the word cabinet and downstairs.

She nodded and got into the bathroom. As he headed to the guest room to get ready.
