Chapter 6

I promised to you. I swear, I won't break it. But why did you leave us like that...?

I breathed heavily. My hands were shaking uncontrollably. Sweat streamed down my forehead. My left leg was bleeding. It's been an hour since we met this f***ing flower. We were the only ones left in the damn park. I can feel Asriel's energy weakening. Wait...why can't I feel anything from the flower? I gritted my teeth. This isn't good.

"Give up already." The flower cackled. I started for him with Asriel behind me. "Okay, suit yourself." My eyes widened. I stopped, blood streaming down from my mouth. My vision flickered. I saw Flowey wearing a sinister smile. He stabbed me with a vine.

"Diana!" Asriel cried, running for me. I stopped him.

"There's no 'lose' in my vocabulary..." I smiled. I raised my weapon up high, leaving Flowey in shock. "...nor 'die'!" I swing my weapon down, cutting the stem. Flowey cried in pain. I finally fell on my knees, Asriel caught me before I fall.

"Sorry we were late, kid." A voice said before I blacked out.

I finally arrived at the skelebrothers' apartment. I opened the door as I breathed heavily, catching my breath.

"Woah, Frisk. Is everything okay?" Sans asked, worried.

"It's...Diana and Asriel..." I said. "They're in trouble!!"

"Slow down, kiddo. Explain everything to us." Sans said.

I gasped. I was staring at Diana's body. She was bleeding...we were too late.

"Sorry we were late, kid." Sans said, his left eye aflame. "Papyrus, Asriel, keep them safe."

"Yes, brother!" Papyrus saluted while Asriel nodded. He picked me up and ran far away from the battle, Asriel carrying Diana bridal style.

"No! Papyrus, put me down!" I whined. "I need to see the battle." But it's no use, the skeleton was dead serious. I just stared at Diana's limp body...till I noticed her wound healing unusually fast.

They glared at each other's rivals.

"Smiley trash bag." Flowey snarled.

"Genocidal soul addict." Sans glared. "Thought I told you to f**k off once."

Flowey laughed. "Oh, sorry. I'm just a spoiled brat so please do repeat it next time."

Sans smirked. "What's with the new look? Red and yellow petals? Seriously?"

Flowey growled. "Who's are you to judge my fashion sense?"

Sans just shrugged. He snapped his fingers, making sharp bones shot up from the ground, chasing the flower. Flowey dodged every one of it. He attempted to stab Sans with 100 vines. But he dodged some and teleported away. He appeared behind Flowey and blasted him wih his GBs, but he dodged. Flowey reappeared, only to be surrounded by giant GBs. Sans was standing on one of it, hungry for the flower's death. He snapped his fingers, all the GBs blasting him. After the smoke cleared up, Flowey was breathing heavily. He barely dodged the attack. One of his red petals ripped off, giving Sans an idea.

I got you now, douche. He thought. He raised his arm, making a gigantic swarm of flaming sharp bones and GBs. He smiled, his left eye flaming vigorously. He swung his arm forward, making all the bones and GBs start and blast for Flowey. He kept dodging, but didn't dodge most of it. After it cleared up, there was no sign of the flower. Only two red petals and a leaf.

"Wait..." Sans said, before a vine stabbed him in the chest. His eyes went pitch black.

"You..." Flowey appeared in front of him. Three red petals and a leaf was missing from him. "YOU THINK I'LL DIE FROM THAT BLOW?!"

Sans stayed quiet. Red liquid dripped from the vine. He, then, smiled. "Nope. But this will." He chuckled. Flowey's eyes widened. A bone shot up through him.

"E-either way, you're gonna die with me...!" Flowey managed to say, his voice weak and raspy.

Sans raised a brow, his white pin pricks visible again. "Oh, Really? Ya' really are egocentric, huh?" He said, putting out a dripping ketchup bottle out of his vest. Flowey stared at it in disbelief. "Too bad, though. This was limited edition."

Finally, the police raided the whole place, making Sans roll his pin pricks.

"Hands up where I could see them--!" before the chief could even finish, Sans teleported away. Flowey cursed under his breath, raising his only leaf in the air.

We were at the Dreemurr storage house. I walked around in circles while biting my polished nail. What happened to Sans? What's taking him so long?

"Asriel, are you sure Diana's okay?" I asked the 7th time.

He smiled reassuringly. "Yes. She just needs to rest. She can heal really fast." I nodded. Though I've never seen magic like that in my whole life. Plus, I've read books about a monster's magic. And I haven't read anything about that kind. I just shook the thought off until a knock was heard from the door.

"I'll get it!" I said and opened the door. I hugged the visitor very tight.

"Calm down, doll. I'm okay." Sans said, hugging back. "And the flower's taken care of, so ya' don't have to worry."

I nodded. I hope he really took care of it. Cause the last time he said that, something bad happened.

"So, how's Diana?" He asked. Wow, that's...a bit odd. He usually 'doesn't give a f**k'. But it I'm not saying it bothers me..

"She's okay." Asriel said reassuringly. Sans nodded. "Sans."

He sat on the chair lazily. "Sup."

"We need to talk. Alone with Diana." He said seriously. They both stood up and went to Diana's room. Well, that just got weird.

"Human!" Papyrus called, making me turn to him. "I think it's best for you to go home with the boss. He must be really worried."

I nodded. "Yeah...sure." I said. "I'll go by my own."

"No! You're not allowed to go by yourself!" Papyrus objected.

I smiled. "Fine."

"What?!" Sans shrieked.

Diana and Asriel shush him. "Shut it, Pennywise." Diana scolded.

Sans glared at her. "Anyways, I'm not gonna be part of your dumb plan."

"Sans, wait." Asriel said. "This isn't for us, it's mainly for Frisk."

Sans doubted. But if it's for Frisk, he's willing to sacrifice everything. Even for his own life. He just don't want her to hurt anyone again. So he made a choice:

"Fine." He grunted. "But do we really have to call her? Of all people!"

"She's the only monster who knows her more than anyone, even her own husband." Diana explained. "Plus, she trusts me."

Sans sighed and put out his phone. He dialed the number he didn't thought he would in a while. "...Tori? We need your help."

Frisk opened the door to her room, feeling exhausted. She can't wait to lie on bed and dream. Then suddenly, her head ached. She grunted in pain. She's never experienced a headache this painful. She felt like her head was continously getting shot by millions of bullets. Her vision blurred as she stared down at her hands. She realized it wasn't her own hands anymore, it was a devil's. They were covered with blood and dust. She became afraid, she screamed loud like she's never screamed before. She can feel something sticky coming out of her mouth and eyes like a waterfall.

"Hello, partner~"

Frisk gasped as she shot up from bed, breathing heavily. She stared down at her own hands. It was clean, it was hers. She sighed in relief and laid down.

"I'm not ready..." She whispered to herself. Then an odd voice came in...

"...yet..."
