When Louis gets to the bridge, where Noah and he usually camp, he gets into their hiding spot and cries, he can't belive what just happened, and his backpack, they have his backpack, he needs his backpack, it has all his things and his dads shirts. Louis is so upset and tries to calm himself down, Before he can though, he sees a cop car pull up and none other than Kimberly and two uniforms get out. Louis knows instantly that Drew and Edward caught up with Noah and made him snitch. Louis can't belive his only friend, someone he's done so much for would do that to him.

He doesn't have much strength so when he tries to run, Lucas catches him in no time,

"Let me go, let go" Louis pleads as Louis struggles in Lucas's arms

"It's okay kid, just relax, you're okay" Lucas tries to reassure.

"Please, I don't want to go with you" Louis says as he continues to struggle

"I understand but it's going to be alright, if you don't stop struggling I'm going to have to handcuff you though" Lucas says gently

"I'm not going with you" Louis says and struggles even harder

Lucas manages to get Louis face down on the ground and he's handcuffed as his year on the run comes to an end and he's put in the back of the police car.

Back at Harry's estate, Edward and Drew walk into Harry's office with Louis backpack, they don't even have to say anything before Harry and Scott are talking over each other

"That's Louis" Harry says

"Where did you find it" Scott asks

"What's happened" Harry asks

"Where is he" Scott follows

Drew sighs

"Just let us talk" Drew says

Scott and Harry shut up and eagerly await what the boys have to say

"Louis was with Noah in the alleyway across from the deal. Noah was buying drugs. We saw Louis and we chased him, caught up with him" Drew says

"What? Well where is he?" Harry asks

"He dropped his backpack but he got away, told us he hated us and you and that we killed his dad, then he took off" Edward says

"We tried to catch him Haz but he's fast, we did however catch up with Noah. Who spilled the beans pretty quickly when threatened" Drew says

"They've apparently been camping at the Berkshire Bridge, Kimberly and two squads are on their way to bring him in" Edward says

Harry doesn't know what to do or say, he's so happy that Louis is okay, so relived, but Louis hates him and he needs to fix it

"Shit" Scott says 

"Let's go then, to the station" Harry says.

"Kimberly has asked us to wait for the call, she will call as soon as she has him" Drew reassures.

Harry actually listens, he doesn't want to overwhelm Louis or anything.

Scott grabs the backpack off Drew and turns it upside down on Harry's desk. He's expecting to find drugs and illegal things if Louis has been hanging out with Noah.

What they find though breaks their hearts. Louis has a pair of filthy jeans with holes in them, a change of underwear and shirt which aren't much better, an old toothbrush and toothpaste, two photos of Louis and his dad and one of Louis, his dad and his mum, crumpled but still in good condition. And then what they all recognise as two of James shirts, the boys all look at each other and sigh. These have obviously not been warn and used as a comfort for Louis and it kills the boys. Louis must be heartbroken and he didn't even get to attend the funeral of his own dad.

It's silent while they take everything in, it's then that Harry's phone rings and he answers Kimberly, tells him they have Louis and to send Drew and Scott to the station. Harry agrees and hangs up.

Harry decides to wait behind, he doesn't want to overwhelm Louis, scare him and Scott and Drew are the only ones who can legally take Louis anyway and he doesn't even know how he will react when he finds out the news.

....

At the station Louis is sat in a cold interrogation room and one arm is handcuffed to a table so he won't run. He's trying to keep his composure and hold back his tears, he doesn't want to be here. 

"Louis I need you to calm down for me" Kimberly tells him as she enters the room, seeing Louis try to free his wrist from the handcuffs

"Please just let me go, I wasn't hurting anyone, I don't want to go to a foster home, please" Louis begs

"Sweetheart, you're not going to a foster home" Kimberly says and Louis looks at her confused.

Kimberly sighs, she looks in Louis tired, scared eyes and just wants to wrap this kid up in her arms and give him a hug.

"I just want you to listen to me okay" Kimberly says kindly

Louis stops struggling and sighs, he nods and sits back in the chair

"I work with Harry, as well as the government." Kimberly explains.

Louis doesn't respond, of course she works for Harry

"Over the past year we pushed through a custody arrangement for Drew and Scott to be your legal guardians" Kimberly says

There are tears in Louis eyes, he doesn't want to see Scott and Drew again.

"They will be here to pick you up shortly" Kimberly says gently and Louis wipes his tears away

"What if I don't want to go" Louis asks

"I'm afraid you have no choice sweetheart" Kimberly says

"I'll just run away again" Louis says determined

"And we will just find you again" Kimberly smiles sympathetically

Louis looks away upset.

"I'll undo the cuffs now okay" Kimberly says

Louis doesn't answer and as soon as the cuffs are off Louis is rubbing his wrist and backing up against the wall in the corner. It's then he sees Drew and Scott enter the station all intimidating and business like, they mean business and look extremely intimidating and dangerous. Louis is slightly scared.

They come into the room and Kimberly leaves, giving them some privacy. Scott takes a long look at Louis, he can't belive what he's seeing, Louis looks so tiny and broken and he hates it.

"Hey kid" Scott says

Louis breathing picks up and he looks down, he doesn't want to be here, he can't look at Scott

"Look at me Lou" Scott says and Louis shakes his head as his tears come

"Far out kid" Scott says and moves forward towards Louis, he grabs him and holds him close.

Louis struggles in Scott's arms

"No let me go Scott, let me go" Louis yells

"Shhhhh, it's okay kid, I'm here it's okay" Scott says and he wraps Louis up so he can't move

Louis tries his best but Scott's arms are so comfy and he's safe and he didn't realise how much he needed to be held

"Shhhh I've got you, we've got you, you're safe now, it's all going to be okay" Scott says and Louis just let's go, he grips onto Scott and cries. Drew and Scott look to each other and their hearts break. Drew comes over and hugs Louis from behind

"It's okay Lou, you're ours now, we promise it's going to be okay" Drew says

Louis eventually calms down but he doesn't let go of Scott. Scott picks him up and he buries his head in his neck, refusing to look at anyone.

Kimberly leads them out of the station and they head to their car, Scott sits in the back with Louis and he still refuses to let go. Scott and Drew don't push Louis and they drive in silence, Scott  comforting Louis in his arms.

When they pull up at the estate Louis sits back on Scott

"I can't see him" Louis says choked

"He's been worried sick Lou, seriously, he's been beside himself for a year" Scott says as he wipes Louis tears

"He killed my dad" Louis says determined

Scott sighs.

"He didn't bud, but you two need to talk" Scott says

He then carries Louis out of the car and manages to put him down. He holds Louis hand as he's led back into the estate. It hasn't changed a bit. Louis tries to stop, but Scott has his hand tightly and Drew comes up behind Louis and gently places his hand on Louis waist in comfort and guides him inside.
