Chapter 11

Sans and Anon finish abruptly minutes before Papyrus had begun falling asleep. Anon chuckled and held Sans close to him as they crept out of the room. Before leaving, though, Sans told Anon that he'd stay behind a little to "catch up" with Papyrus, explaining about the reason for his disappearance. Anon smiled, kissing Sans, and closed the door. Sans, seeking this opportunity, rushed over to Papyrus. His hands were cold and clammy, suggesting that he had a little too much "fun" and that he needed a well needed rest. "Pssst, Papy... Let's get out of here before Anon comes back..." Sans began ripping the ropes from Papyrus' arms and prying him from his imprisonment.

Papyrus took the chance to hold Sans closer to him, embracing his boney structure. "S-Sans.... I'm s-orry.... I wish I could treat you better.... *hic* I'm sorry" Sans stroked his brother's skull as he hummed a familiar tune. Weeks later, Sans and Papyrus were home taking care of each other, watching to ensure each others safety. Sans felt a bit groggy that morning and had spent the entire morning in the bathroom. Papyrus was anxious about this, but decided to let Sans be for a bit. He walked into the kitchen to begin making breakfast when he heard an enormous thump coming from the bathroom. Fearing Sans had injured himself, Papyrus teleported to his fallen brother who seemed to be passed out and.... Sweaty.... Really REALLY sweaty.

Papyrus quickly carried the unconscious skeleton to the his king sized bed and went to wet a towel. He grazed the top of Sans' skull in hopes of it cooling him down. Sans began to moan as he shifted under his brother's gaze. His temperature rose slightly, irritating/worrying the fuck out of Papyrus; this made him pace around the bed as if he was awaiting Sans' return from sentry duty. He scratched his jaw, hoping for the best as his lover laid restlessly on the bed. "P-Paps... H-huuu...." Sans wheezed as he reached weakly for Papyrus. Papyrus gulped down a sigh before grabbing his brother's needy hand. It was slightly cold to the touch, but he figured it was because of the snow.

He laid besides Sans once more before resting his eyes. That didn't last even for a millisecond, because Sans had suddenly sprang into a painful ball as he wept. "I-It... H-hurts.. My.... S-stomach.... Papy.... H-help... Please.." Papyrus reached for the phone nearly as quick as the incident had started. He dialed Undyne and Alphys, hoping they would help. "Hello, the hell's calling?!" Papyrus cleared his throat, "Undyne, I need you to get Alphys for me, it's urgent. NOW!!" Undyne snickered, "And what if I do-" "Undyne? Who you talking to?!" Alphys screeched in the background. Undyne could be heard, being a smartass, "Oh just someone whose is in need of some 'help'... Why?" Alphys took the phone, "Who is this?" Undyne grumbled, having the phone taken from her, and slumped off. Papyrus sighed with relief, "Finally, I need you to get your ass over here now."

Alphys growled, "And why should I?" Papyrus was quickly growing impatient by the second, "Something's wrong with Sans and..." He stalled, figuring out how to make it sound like he didn't care much, " and I don't have time to do it myself." Alphys finally agreed and the two hung up their phones. Papyrus turned to see Sans trying to get off the bed. "SANS!! No, please... Rest for now.... Ok? I don't want you getting hurt in case it's serious..." He gently laid Sans back down, earning a pained and grumpy gasp from Sans. Minutes later, Alphys arrived with Undyne and her bag of medical supplies. "Alright, where's the skeleton?" Papyrus led them to Sans and sat beside him, "He's been like this since.... Earlier today..." Alphys took some testing material from the bag and and did diagnostics. An hour later, results came back. ".... Papyrus..... Sans is..."
