FLORENCE HATES SURPRISES. She hates not having control over a situation. Her friends call her a control freak but to her she was just being cautious to what she was doing with her life. So you can imagine her distraught when she stood outside, clinging tightly to her coat from the cool new york air waiting for the boy who calls himself spider-man to pick her up.

"Hello," Tom spoke, creeping up behind Flo. She turned around a smile inching upon her face.

"Hi," Flo said. Her stomach flipped with nerves, electric and fluttering.

"Sorry, I don't have a car." Tom sheepishly said, the wind slightly brushing against his hair.

"It's okay, why have a car when you can just hop into one of New York's finest taxis." Flo chuckled, looking at the sea of yellow.

Flo slipped her fingers into her mouth and whistled harshly. Just like the snap of her fingers, a taxi instantly arrived at the curb awaiting for a customer.

"Now, it would be nice to know where we are going before we enter that taxi." Flo spoke, directing her attention back to Tom.

He let out a laugh, walking past her. "See the thing is I do know where we're going." Tom went to the driver's side of the taxi and whispered something to the driver. He then traveled back, and opened the door for Florenece.

"After you my lady." Tom smirked.

Florence rolled her eyes, "I can't believe you're still keeping this secret act up."

"You're the most impatient girl I have bed met." He chuckled. Florence scoffed, before he gently shut the door and hopped in on the other side.

On the ride to their foreign destination, Florence purposely tried to ignore Tom in hopes of making him spill his secret. However, it just ended up in him doing his stupid puppy dog eyes that melted Florence instantly. What felt like an eternity of teasing and giggling in the back of a taxi, the two were cut off my the sudden shriek of old breaks.

"You're here." The taxi driver bluntly said. The two nodded and slipped out of the taxi, slipping him a ten dollar tip.

"Seriously? You could have just told me we were going to Central Park." Florence laughed, taking in the beautiful scene in front of her. Florence comes here a lot, especially when she's feeling stuck. Here it's just her, the trees, and the never ending sky above her.

"Well, it's not just Central Park," Tom smirked, lifting out his arm, "If you would just please follow me this way."

Florence couldn't help but grin, looping her arm with his. The chilly air made her cling onto him tight, as they walked down the paths. After about five minutes of walking, bright lights began to shine through the bushes. Florence gasped at the sight in front of her.

"This is amazing! How did I not know this was going on?" The blonde exclaimed, her eyes wide.

In front of them was a small festivle filled with with astronomers left from right. There were booths lined up next to each other filled with different things involving the planets and extraterrestrial life. There was a band with food venders and people dancing with glee.

"You've been too busy in detention with me to notice anything going on." Tom chuckled.

Florence squealed, grabbing his hand and dragged him to the first booth she saw. From the sun and moon to how the stars align with your birth chart, had Florence in awe. Tom watched with adoration at her side, not wanting to disturb her with her talks with the workers. Her passion for the sky lit within her eyes. Tom was amazed with this girl.

The two ate to many hot dogs and danced way to horribly. They even stumbled upon a photo booth.

"Oh, c'mon! Please come in the photo booth with me." Florence begged. It was her turn to do puppy eyes.

Tom sighed but instantly gave in. How could he say no to her? Florence smiled, yanking him into the booth.

"Okay, we're gonna smile, then vogue, then silly, then fake laugh. Got it?" Florence demanded, fixing her hair.

"Vogue?" Tom questioned. Before he could answer the first picture had already been taken. Florence laughed at the confused boy, her plan going out the window.

Once the last photo was taken, the rushed out and grabbed the strip. Florence grinned, the two looked good with each other. After walking around a little more, Florence felt sick. Those hot dogs were really catching up with her. They walked over to a grass spot where no one was and layed down.

The two were silent but it was calming. Florence has never really been this way with anyone but Maya and Noah. She usually doesn't like to go outside her comfort zone. Talking to strangers and going out of routine isn't something she's used too so you can imagine how much of a stretch this was especially with America's next movie star.

"Do you ever just lay down and count the stars?" Florence whispered, her eyes darting between the millions of lights in the sky.

"Can't say I do." Tom spoke softly. He noticed Florence's face growing pink. "But I think it's pretty cute."

Florence chuckled. It was nights like this she loved the most. The temperature was low, frosty wind, the stars shining against her glowy skin. She looked over at Tom laying in his back, taking in the sky. She let out a small sigh—it was nights like this she would never forget.
