Florence Mae is a stubborn girl. She'll never be the first one to back down in an argument even if she's one hundred percent wrong. Determination fills her body, making sure she always gets her point across. So today she was going to do everything she could to prove that Tom holland wasn't actually at her school.
The blonde tapped her finger impatiently, as she waited for her last class of the day to begin. Her hazel eyes scanned the room, as students began to fill up their seats one by one. Her eyes darted back and forth from the seat next to her—to the door—to the window—waiting to see if Spider Boy would return.
She never saw him in first period like she did yesterday. Her mind was boggling with questions on whether or not that boy was actually a celebrity or just a kid on crack. If she weren't to see him today in class she was sure that he actually was the young actor—or in rehab.
All of a sudden Florence's breath came to a halt once she saw the familiar boy walk into the classroom. He wore the exact same thing as we wore yesterday, but instead of all black he wore all blue. His hair was messily combed along with his glasses slightly tiled on the bridge of his nose.
As Tom sat down, he couldn't tell but feel a little nervous himself. He gave her a slight glance when he sat down, but her eyes were glued to the board. Florence needed to think k of a game plan before acting.
Just as Florence was about to speak, the teacher walked in ready to start to class. She mentally cursed, knowing that it would be hard to talk to him now due to the teachers strictness.
"Psst."
Florence ignored the sound and kept her eyes on her teacher explaining the math problem. She knew it was the boy next to her.
"Psst." Tom whispered again, trying to get her attention, "Psst."
"Look, if you're trying to sell me drugs I'm not interested." Florence whispered back.
"I'm not trying to sell you drugs! Why do you think I'm a drug dealer?" Tom exclaimed, this time not even hiding his british accent.
"Oh my god you actually are Tom Holland." Florence gasped.
"How did you know so fast?" He asked
"Because if you were a drug dealer you would have pulled out the drugs already." She responded.
Before Tom could respond, he was cut off by the loud voice of the teacher, "Florence and Finnely! You two just earned yourselves a one way ticket to detention after class. You know my rules on talking."
"Wait, you don't understand—" Tom began to speak with his American accent but was cut off by the teacher, "No, excuses! Now be quiet before you get it tomorrow too."
"Great. This is just great." Florence mumbled, digging herself deeper into her seat.

Florence and Tom sat in the classroom with six other kids ready for detention. The teacher who was supposed to be watching them was on the phone with his grandmother trying to explain how to switch the channel on the television.
"Okay, grandma just hold on." He spoke i to the phone. Mr. Gomez pulled the phone away from his ear and began to talk to the students, "Im stepping out for a minute. Do not talk and do not pull out your cell phones or else detention for the rest of the week."
When Mr.Gomez stepped out of the room, everyone dispirited into talking and gaming on their cell phones.
"I am so sorry for getting you into detention." Tom apologized to the girl.
"It's fine." Florence reassured, "But why are you even here? You're not even an actual student here. You can just walk out if you want."
"Well I didn't want to leave you alone considering I'm the reason you got in trouble.
Plus you're a really interesting person to talk to. I never know what's going to come out your mouth." He explained
"Oh my god this is nuts." Florence sighed in disbelief.
"What's nuts?" Tom asked.
"You! The fact the you're here. The fact that you're even talking to me. I mean it's not everyday a celebrity comes to my school and I accuse them of being a crack head." Florence exclaimed.
"Do you normally accuse people of being crackheads?" Tom grinned.
"Only people who look like they have drugs." Florence mumbled.
"You have some fascination with drugs now don't you! Are you sure you aren't the drug addict?" Tom spoke.
"Stop! This isn't funny." Florence fake pouted, mentally freaking out.
"Actually it is. The whole marvel cast is getting a kick out of this." Tom laughed.
"You did not tell them." Florence gasped in embarrassment.
"Oh, they know plenty about the American student who accused me of being a druggie." Tom confessed.
"Wait, so does Chris Evans know who I am?" Florence questioned, freaking out.
"We'll he doesn't know you but he knows of you." Tom replied.
"Oh my god I love Chris Evans." Florence spoke, not knowing what else to say. She was stuck in a daze from all of this.
"Who doesn't?" Tom laughed.
"So I'm assuming this is your last day being here considering that you kinda blew your cover." Florence told the boy.
"Yep, Im not sure how you do it! School is exhausting especially this one. You must be really smart." Tom responded.
"Eh, not really. I'm passionate about the sky so when I'm in classes like math and astronomy it all kinda clicks because I need them to get closer to the stars. I mean school sucks and all but I don't think of the work as work. I think of it as one step closer to me doing what I love." She confessed.
"Wow that's amazing." Tom spoke, mesmerized by the twinkle in her eyes when she spoke about the sky.
"But I would burn this place down in a heartbeat." Florence bluntly stated.
"You're mood changed real quick." Tom laughed.
Before Florence could respond with a cheeky remark, Me.Gomez walked back into the classroom. Everyone insta rly shiver their phones in their pockets and locked their lips. He red the classroom but just shrugged and sat back down into his chair.
Florence couldn't help but crack a smile, when she looked back at Tom. The rest of detention consisted of small glances and silent giggles. She couldn't believe that someone like him was talking to someone like her. He was the newest teen heart throb and Florence well she was just Florence.
