Who's Your Daddy?

Christina was on the couch munching on some crackers to help keep her All Day Sickness down.  Her mind was on Robbie.  When he had returned to the apartment he was acting shady and furtive.  Trying to sneak into the place without her noticing, not looking her in the eye.  What was that about?

When she went into the kitchen Christina heard footsteps sneaking from Robbie's old room to the balcony.  The semi quiet sound of the screen door going creeeek as it slid open.  More sneaky footsteps.  Then a hint of cigarette smoke.  Oh hell no! After he swore he was going to quit, what the fuck!

Christina stormed onto the balcony in time to see Robbie inhaling a cigarette.  "Robbie!"

Robbie jumped, choking on the smoke.  "Ack! Gah!"

"What are you doing?" Christina demanded.  "You said you were quitting this shit and you're still smoking? Really? Then again, why am I surprised? You have the self control of a newborn monkey."

Robbie tossed the cigarette over the balcony, hoping it didn't land anywhere that was flammable.  "Baby, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.  I just got some stuff on my mind."

Christina waved away the lingering smoke, hoping it wouldn't bring her nausea back.  "Then you deal with it like a man and talk to me about it.  You know that smoke makes me sick.  Think about the baby."

Robbie put his hands on her shoulders.  "I am, princess.  I'm under a lot of pressure."

"Because of me and Emmett?"

"No no no." Robbie was trying to decide whether he was brave enough to tell Christina about Maddie and Robbie Junior.  Best to face the music head on.

Christina sensed that something serious was on his mind.  "What is it? Talk to me."

Robbie guided her to the couch.  He sat her down and looked around to make sure there were no deadly weapons nearby.  Then he sat down and held her hands in his.
"Baby, Princess," he began.

Christina wondered if this was a proposal.  She was excited for that.  It would be nice if he put a ring on it.  But then again this was her Robs.  He said he loved her but right now he looked like he wanted to die.  "Yes?"

"Sweetie, honey?" Robbie gave her that smile that said "don't knee me in the goods".  "Babe?"

Oh shit, she thought.  She knew that voice.  "What did you do?" She rolled her eyes and braced herself.

"Okay, before I tell you. . ."

"What did you do?" She said louder.

"You have to promise me that you won't kill me." Robbie said quickly.  "Remember, Emmett needs a father.  Don't kill me."

"Don't ask me to do the impossible.  What did you do?"

Robbie could see the fire in her eyes and gulped.  "You know Maddie, right?"

"Yeah, one of your hos."

"Me and Colin used to go out with her." Robbie said defensively.

"Like I said, one of your hos.  Continue."

Robbie shuffled his feet.  "Well, I saw Maddie and she kinda sorta. . ."

Christina snatched her hands away and stood.  "Oh hail naw! Hell no! Are you screwing that bitch?"

"What? No!"

"Cause if she thinks she's gonna mess with my man," Christina ranted.  "She'd better make sure she clears it with me!"

Robbie stood up and faced her.  "Christina baby, love.  I swear on my dick that I'm not cheating on you."

"Seriously dude? Swearing on your dick?" Christina scoffed in disgust.  "Most normal people swear on their family members who mean something to them."

"I don't really have that so I'm swearing on my tool."

Christina rolled her eyes.  "Your tool is the cause of all our problems.  I wouldn't even be in the family way if it wasn't for your precious tool."

"I can't help it, that's just me.  I'm a horny guy."

"Then you better nip that shit in the bud," Christina said.  "The last thing my baby needs is a dad that's a fuck boy."

"Yeah," Robbie squirmed.  "About the baby,"

Christina suddenly felt a cold fear.  "What about my baby? Did the doctor tell you something?" She put her hand on her belly.  Her poor baby.

"No no no." Robbie reassured her.  "Our baby is perfect, don't worry about that."

Christina swatted him.  "Don't scare me like that.  Just tell me already."

"Okay, but can I get some liquid courage?"

"No, dammit, just tell me what that skank has to do with my baby?"

Robbie kept squirming.  "Well, Emmett might be getting a baby brother."

Christina glared.  "What?"

"Emmett might be getting a sibling already." Robbie laughed nervously.  "See, Maddie told me that she's expecting my baby.  I'm kinda sorta sure that it may be mine."

Christina took a breath and looked away.  Why was this not surprising? Given Robbie's record she should be surprised that pregnant women weren't knocking down their door their first day in the apartment.  "I thought you used protection?"

"Yeah well, sometimes those little swimmers can bust right through them."

Christina sat back and absorbed this news.  So Robbie had two babies on the way.  He was going to have to divide his time and attention to two kids and two baby mamas.  Why did she have to fall for a guy who couldn't keep it in his pants to save his life.  Unfrikkinbelievable!

"She named him Robbie Junior," Robbie said.

Well wasn't that special, she thought.

"We're going to have to work something out." Robbie was saying. He turned her to face him.  "What are you thinking about, babe?"

"Cutting off that overactive dick of yours."

"Aw come on, sweetness, don't be like that," Robbie said.  "I have to step up to the plate and take responsibility.  It's my baby."

"I know.  I just can't look at you right now."

"This happened before we got together," Robbie said.  "I didn't cheat on you.  I would never do that to you, ever."

"I really wish I could believe that."

There was a knock on the door.  Robbie went to answer it.  Colin was standing there with Maddie."

"Hey, dude," Colin said.  "We need to talk.  Can we come in?"

Robbie led them inside.  Christina glared at the woman with her hands on her baby bump.  If Robbie's babies weren't inside of either one of them they would be on the ground tearing out each other's hair.

"Did you tell Christina already?" Colin asked him.  Robbie nodded.

"Yeah, congrats." Christina said sarcastically to Maddie.  "I am too."

Colin pulled Maddie forward.  "Maddie has something she wants to tell you." He nudged her.  "Tell him or I will."

"What?" Robbie asked.

Maddie didn't make eye contact.  "The baby isn't yours, Robbie."

Robbie wasn't sure he heard right.  "Excuse me?"

"The baby isn't yours." Maddie went on.  "I made that up."

Christina was surprised.  "Seriously? Why would you do that? We have enough to deal with as it is."

"Tell them why," Colin said.

"You were making more money," Maddie said.  "I figured if I passed the kid off as yours he'd be set for life."

"Yeah Sean overheard her on the phone," Colin said.  "She was going to pin it on him if Robbie didn't agree to taking care of it.  She had a long list of suckers.  I was the first one she picked."

Robbie digested that.  "So who is the father?"

"The bartender guy."

"Figures," Robbie said.  "He's always broke."

Christina stood up.  "So Robbie's in the clear? He's not the father? Are you sure?"

"I'm sure," Maddie said.  "I was already pregnant when we hooked up that time."

"Yeah, I remember," Robbie said.  "I thought you were a little on the plump side.". Christina swatted him on the arm.  "Not that I was complaining."

"Stop talking." Christina told him.  "So are we good?"

"Yeah, that's about it." Colin said.

"Thanks for having my back, mate," Robbie said.  "Good looking out."

"No problem.  Just buy me a drink next time."

As they started to leave Christina said to Maddie.  "Let me give a little advice, sweetie.  Guys don't respect girls that don't respect themselves.  Food for thought."

They left.

Robbie began jumping all over the place.  "Whoo!!!!! I'm not the daddy!! I'm not the daddy!!"

Someone knocked on the wall.

Robbie jumped on the couch.  "Oh thank God Buddha Moses Allah!!! I am not that ho's  baby daddy." He noticed Christina standing there just staring at him, not saying a word.  "What? Aren't you happy? She played us."

"I know."

"So what's the problem?"

"Today it was Maddie," Christina said.  "But what if tomorrow Lila comes knocking at the door saying your the father of her baby? And the next day it's Denny, and the day after, who knows?"

Robbie stood up and faced her.  "I hear you, baby.  I have always done my best to be careful to avoid that situation.  You are the first woman to ever tell me that she was having my baby."

Christina was touched.  "Really?"

"As freaked out as I was, it was exciting to know that there's a part of me out in the world.". Robbie said.  "Of us." He touched her belly.  "I can't wait for this new adventure."

"Oh Robbie." She kissed him.

"There's one more thing I have to tell you."

Christina braced herself again.  "Oh Lord, what?"

Robbie got on one knee.  " I don't have a ring yet, but will you marry me, Christina?"

A/N tune in to see Christina's response, readers😏😜
