Sweet Dreams

"Fading out, fading out
Can't get right.

I'm tossing out, turning out
Every night.

I'm losing my, losing my
Goddamn mind."

Madison Beer "All For Love."

Robbie's hands slid down Christina's back as she straddled his lap. Their lips were pressed together, their tongues slid against each other. His fingers were tangled in her long soft hair. He felt her gently touching his sensitive area, driving him wild.

He flipped her onto her back, their legs entwined. He slid inside of her and moved slowly at first, then faster and harder as his sensations grew. Soon they were moaning and yelling. . .

Robbie woke up with a start.

He sat up gasping and clutching his chest. He realized he was alone in his dark bedroom. "Jesus!"

That dream was still with him, so real and vivid. He could still taste Christina, feel her on his skin. The dream was so intense that he had an erection.

Robbie stumbled into the bathroom. He stripped off his pajamas and turned the water to freezing before stepping in. It cooled his burning flesh. Robbie looked down. His hardness was still there. It was almost painful and the cold shower didn't seem to be working at all.

Leaning against the wall with one hand, Robbie began stroking himself with the other. When his mind flashed to Christina the sensations from his dream came back stronger and more intense. He was soon moaning and gasping. This was sooo good.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door, scaring the crap out of him. "What!" he yelled.

"Are you almost done?" Christina called through the door. "I really have to go."

For a second Robbie suspected she know what he was doing. "Not yet."

"Will you be in there long?" she asked. "It's really urgent."

Robbie cursed himself for not getting an apartment with two bathrooms. "Just give me a minute." The scare got his boner to finally go down but it left him very frustrated.

He left the bathroom to find Christina standing right by the door. He hoped she didn't hear him whacking off. "There you go, all yours." he mumbled, unable to look her in the eye.

Christina didn't move. "Are you okay?"

Robbie managed to look at her. Christina's long hair was tied back. She wore a white nightie that outlined her breasts and revealed her dark nipples right through the sheer material. Goddammit, she was really killing him tonight!

"I'm fine," he said while quickly looking away. Damn, he was getting hard again.

Christina didn't move. "Are you sure? Your face is all red." She put her hand gently on his cheek. "Do you have a fever?"

He jerked his head away. "I'm fine all right." he snapped. "The bathroom is free now." He waited for her to go in but she still stood there watching him.

"You know, Robbie," she said, looking at him with those large doe eyes. "I know we don't know each other that well, but since we're living together we can be friends. If there's anything bothering you, you can talk to me, okay?"

"Yeah, fine, whatever." Robbie muttered. He moved past her and went into his room. He threw himself under the covers and finished what he started in the shower.

Christina looked at his closed door, wondering if he was mad at her. Did she offend him or something?

She got up early the next morning and made a huge breakfast of pancakes, bacon, eggs and toast. She put on coffee and set the table for two.

Robbie left his room. He stomped around, not saying anything.

"Good morning." Christina called cheerfully.

Robbie didn't say anything as he stuffed some things into his work bag. He didn't even look at her as he moved past her.

"Hey," she went on. "I made us some breakfast."

He said nothing.

"I thought it would be nice for us to eat together." Christina said, watching his sullen face.

Robbie went to the table. He grabbed some bacon and toast. Then without so much as a thank you or bye, he grabbed his coat and bag and left, slamming the door after him.

Christina stared after him for a while. Then she sat at the table where she had thoughtfully laid out her homecooked breakfast and slowly ate her food. Then she took Robbie's plate and ate his too, hoping the food would ease the pain in her heart. What was his problem? What did she do? Was it the kiss she wondered. It had to be. He'd been acting funny ever since it happened.

All throughout the day Christina kept thinking about it. That kiss was the only think that was on her mind. It was very special to her. Maybe Robbie didn't feel the same way. Maybe he didn't like the kiss? She wished she knew what it was, and why it mattered so much to her what he thought. She'll talk to him about it later.

When she got home Christina decided to surprise him with a nice dinner. She didn't know why but for some reason it was important to get on his good side.

Christina prepared a chicken dinner for two, setting it out on the table with a candle. Then she changed into one of her pretty outfits. This wasn't a date, she told herself. It was just an evening at home.

She fed Sandy then sat at the table and waited for Robbie to come through the door at his usual time.

He didn't show up.

A couple of hours passed and still no Robbie.

Christina had wrapped up their dinner and put it away. She blew out the candle, wondering what happened to him. She looked out of the window. He usually parked his car across the street. It was nowhere in sight.

After another hour had gone by Christina called the studio. They told her that Robbie had been gone for hours. They gave her his cell number. When she called that number it went straight to his voicemail, meaning it was off. "Um, hi Robbie, it's Christina. Give me a call when you get this message, I just wanted to know if everything is okay." She left her number and hung up.

Now Christina was really worried. What if something happened to him? Was he in an accident? She didn't know him that well but she knew his routine. After a long day of shooting he usually came home and crashed. Sometimes he would watch TV with a drink. And there were times when he'd get back late. But it was never like this.

She looked out of the window again. Where was he?

Throughout the day Robbie put all of his energy into his work. When he was done he gave Lila a call.

"Hey, babe," he said. "Want some company?"

"Sure, daddy, come on by."

On the way, Robbie stopped into a bar and ordered a double whiskey. Christina's doe eyes and hurt face kept haunting him and he wanted to erase it from his thoughts.

His phone rang. Somebody from work. "Hey, Kay, some girl kept calling you here."

"Yeah? Who?"

"Christina, I think."

Damn! Damn! Damn! "What did she want?"

"She was looking for you so I gave her your cell."

"Why?"

"She sounded worried. I thought she was family."

"Genius, what if she was my baby mama who's after me for child support?" Robbie snapped.

"So I shouldn't have given it?"

"What do you think?" Robbie hung up, then turned off his cell. Dumbass!

Later he went over to Lila's. She was waiting in her sexiest lingerie. "Hi, Robbie."

Robbie had them undressed and in bed before she finished that sentence. While they were doing it, that dream came back to him, adding much fuel to his fire.

"Oh God!" Robbie yelled. "Oh Jesus, Christina! Christina!"

"What?" Lila pushed him off of her and sat up. "Excuse me?"

Robbie lay there sweating and gasping. "Why are you stopping? I was almost there, come on."

"Who the hell is Christina?" Lila demanded.

Robbie realized he had said the wrong name. "Oh shit."

Lila looked him in the eye. "Do you have another girl friend?"

Robbie rolled his eyes. "I don't know where you got the idea that you were my girlfriend. We're just screw buddies, that's it."

Lila threw his jeans at him. "Get the fuck out of my place, you bastard!"

Robbie threw on his clothes and left. He wasn't sure where he should go, so he decided to just go home. He had an early call the next day, he should get some rest.

When he got to the apartment building Robbie stood in the lot and looked up at his place. He was surprised to see that the lights were still on. Christina usually liked to turn in early, or that's what she had been doing since they moved in.

Robbie leaned back against his car and continued watching his apartment. Why was she up? Couldn't she sleep?

He saw her at the window looking around. He ducked, feeling like a jerk. She must be worried about him. She was waiting for him. That must be why she called.

Did she care about him?

Why was he acting like this, he wondered. What was this feeling?
