Nino walked out of the locker room and saw Marinette being dumbfound at the stairs. He walked up to her and waved his hand in front of her face. He saw blonde hair get into a silver car. "Marinette. You alive?"

"Gah." She couldn't say a single word. This only happened once before and he ended up dead. Ninos eyes widened and he grabbed her wrist and dragged her back to the house. Tikki and Plagg were gone and Blizz and Rossi were gone too. Something about a bad report card.

He set Marinette down on her bed. "Marinette what happened." He grabbed her shoulders.

"He's so kind." Marinette swooned and put her hands to her burning cheeks. "How could he be the son of a gang leader?"

"Marinette what happened." Nino grew worried.

"I think I'm in love." Marinette sighed happily and fell back onto her bed. "Our hands brushed!"

"Oh no. This is bad!" Nino started pacing.

"What's so bad about being in love." Marinette sighed happily then the memories came flooding back.

"Stay with me Jack!" Marinette yelled as he bleed out. Her mission: Kill Jack Suborn, Armed guns dealer in Russia.

"M-Marinette." He coughed blood. He raised his head and placed his bloody, cracked lips on her cheek.

"No nonononono Stay with me!" She cried as he lied still and lifeless in her arms. His tux covered in blood and her white dress covered in his blood. Her hair came out of its bun on her head. "No! Jack!" She fell in love with him. She grew close to him to get a chance to kill him. It took a week for her to fall hard.

She was extracted from the mission after Nino took the shot she wouldn't take. She didn't preform properly in the field after that day. She was off, missing a target, skipping an instruction. She shut down. She got back to her old self a few months later declaring she would never fall in love again.

"Damn it I broke my contract!" Marinette yelled and hit her head with her fist.

"At least you don't have to kill him this time." Nino said and sat on his bed.

"But he's still involved. Like last time." Marinette sighed and sat up. "Did you have to shot him? He wasn't that big of a threat after I got there."

"But he was. He did it without you noticing." Nino sighed and ran his hand through his short hair. "I miss my long hair."

"I miss being able to make you a unicorn!" Marinette laughed and he joined in. "So what's the plan now? I try to become his girlfriend?"

"You could try but that would mean you have to hang out with him a lot and I don't think that Chloe girl would want that." Nino laughed.

"I could try." Marinette sighed and they looked out the window. "Photoshoot in the park. Nice." Marinette laughed. The rain let up enough for Adriens scheduled photoshoot to go back on.

"Let's go." Nino said and grabbed Marinettes wrist. They walked to the park and sat down on a bench and watched Adrien and talked. Adrien noticed them and waved. Nino waved back. "You know you really are an awkward taco."

"Shut it! You get more nervous then me." Marinette crossed her arms.  Nino laughed as Adrien walked over to them.

"Hey." Adrien smiled.  "Mind if I join you. My photoshoot is over."

"Yeah no sweat dude."  Nino smiled and Marinette blushed. They got up from the bench and walked around Paris.

"So do you like the school so far?" Adrien asked breaking their ten minute silence.

"Yeah.  It's all great. Everyone is so nice and kind well almost everyone." Marinette smiled as Chloe walked over to them.

"Adrikins!" She screeched and they covered their ears. "Come with me. Daddy got a new menu at the hotel and you have to try it."

"Sorry Chlo I'm hanging out with my friends." Adrien nervously laughed. Chloe scoffed and walked away. "Sorry about her she tends to get uhm very annoying."

"It's okay.  I've dealt with annoying before." Marinette nudged Nino.

"So what are you two? You're always together." Adrien took a sip from his smoothie. He was hoping it was just friends.

"We're best friends." Nino answered and Adrien screamed internally. At least he had a chance, he thought. "Why do you ask?"

"Well since you're always together someone might think you're dating."

Marinette gagged. "Hey I'm not that bad." Nino said as Marinette pretended to throw up.

"Yeah you are." Marinette gagged.  "I would never date him. He's not my type."

"Oh yeah and what is your type?" Nino crossed his arms.

"Caring, sweet and sensitive.  The complete opposite of you." Marinette crossed her arms. Nino rolled his eyes and Adrien laughed. Marinette blushed at his laugh.

"You two are the weirdest friends I've ever seen."  Adrien laughed. They joined him in laughter soon after. They walked more until they reached the Agreste Mansion. "Gotta go.  see you both tomorrow." He smiled and entered the house. Marinette and Nino went to theirs and Marinette groaned as she face hit the pillow.

"This just got a whole lot harder." Marinette groaned.
