I looked around my room shivering out of fear. This has been the fifth time this week, something is up. I can't but a finger on who this person is and why did he want to find a place for me to stay. I was always the goth at my school, I never had a lot of friends and the ones I do have they aren't popular but they are awesome friends. I put my hair into a high ponytail and place my hood over my head and goes to school. It wasn't too dar so I reach there in time. My eyes scan the corridors and landed on my bestie Ali when I first got here he was the first to talk to me. That on it own made me trust him, although he is popular with the ladies he always spots me out from a mule away and runs to be with me. Sometimes because of this special attention the girls would gang up on me and beat me until I bleed. I haven't told anyone about this but I should. I was always a nobody I just don't understand why someone like
Ali would want to be friends with a girl like me. I dont deserve his love and tenderness, I don't deserve to live. Ali would lecture me if he knew I was thinking so lowly of myself, I really don't know why he cares so much.

"Hannah! There's my girl!" He ran over to me throwing his heavy arms around my shoulders pulling me into a hug.

"Hey...Ali how are you?"

"I'm great thanks for asking!" His lips curves into a sly smile as he pulled away.

He was always a little ray of sunshine in my life. His features makes it impossible for you not to love him. His dark green eyes make you feel like you're in a forest. No wonder girls love him so much.

"So wanna go class together or are you going to refuse it like last time..I swear something is wrong with you in these past weeks...you refuse to spent time with me it feel like you don't want to hang out anymore" he look at me and frowns slightly.

I only refused because of some girls telling me that if I keep on spending with Ali they would beat me up more.

"No no no! Its not that!"

"Then what is it then?"

I nervously giggle and looks away.

"I can't tell you" he surprisedly grabbed my hand and gently squeezed it.

"Its fine Hannah.....you need your space and I am being a great friend and give you it..so see you have class?" He smirk slightly at me and my cheek turns a bit red.

"Sure"

"Until then my lady" he kissed my hand sightly and went to his class. I had to hold in my giggles. He always try to make me happy and he always find a way. I head to class but suddenly someone yanked me to a room.

"Didn't we tell you not to talk to Ali again?!"

Its them again..great I'm in trouble for sure.

"Well its hard since he's my best friend and—"

"Best friend! Who would want something like you as a friend" she giggles spitefully and I restrained myself from hitting her.

"Oh god she shut up.. How sad she is really worthless after all"

That was the last straw, i couldn't stop myself I hit her right in the stomach. To my surprise she dodged and hit me in the stomach. All the breath was taken in a single blow and I was force to fall on the ground on my knees.

"Look girls Hannah thinks she she can beat us. You brought this on yourself sweetie" she place her hand under my chin and surprisedly removes it show a crimson liquid on her hand.

"Only this time you won't make it out alive" her smirk was the last thing I saw until a sea of pain hit me like a wave pushing me underwater.
