Kathryn woke up one Sunday morning and got ready for the day... So far she had no plans, maybe train with Mikage? No... He might be busy...
But to her surprise, she didn't need to call him and ask him if he was busy. No instead he came to her and asked if she had any plans.

"So, do you wanna go out with me?" He asked shyly scratching his head and hiding behind his fan.

"Sure! Why not? Just let me get my bag!" Kathryn smiled as she felt warmth in her chest at being asked out by her dear friend whom she had grown to admire.

"Cool, I'll wait outside." He blushed behind his fan harder though Kathryn couldn't see it.

"Okay, I'll just be five minutes!"

When Kathryn came back Mikage grabbed the girls hand a jumped off to the spirit forest.

"Woah!" Kathryn exclaimed watching the view:

"This is amazing!"

Not as amazing as you...

Mikage silently thought though he was smart enough not to say it out loud...

They stopped near a crystal lake.

"Mika, we're Huli territory... I don't wanna break any rules..." Kathryn sighed looking at the fish swimming in the pond.

"Oh, so your not mad at us for eating your kind?" Mikage joked sitting beside her in the ground.

"I mean it was somewhat justified... I mean the Highforces one day just said 'See this? This is our bundle of joy their called humanity and they cause all sorts of trouble, so guess what, they're your problem now too! Have fun!' I mean I can see why you guys were somewhat annoyed." Kathryn laughed.

Mikage burst out in laughter watching his friends stance.

"Yeah, thanks for your understanding in the matter... Though what we did was unforgivable too. We became no better than your kind the way we held ourselves..." Mikage sighed.

"No, Mika. Don't say that, your kind did what's best for them." Kathryn smiled, "besides what's the point in looking back? Learn from the past but then close the book and move on. That's the way life works for us humans life is short so we can't afford to look to the past and hold grudges for too long... What I want is the future and for people to be understanding to one another if we stop looking at what's different and start looking at what we have in common, then who knows?"

"And what do we have in common?" Mikage inquired of the girl.

"Love, aspirations, wants, and needs, feelings. There's so much and at the end of the day, who cares if you bleed red or blue, or if you bleed at all, in the end... We're all equal for we all share one common ground... Love."

Mikage smiled before standing up he knew she was the one for him at that moment:

"Then I must ask of you something, I have only known you for a year but I love you and now I am sure of it! Kathryn Ray Blessed, will you be mine?"
