1 Month Later

It's been a solid month since the presentations of their projects and Yoongi has been hanging out more with Jimin and Hoseok. This is the result of the youngest ultimately asking the eldest if he wanted to join whenever him and Hoseok were doing anything. It actually surprised both of them when Yoongi agreed the first time. They assumed he was bored and just wanted something to do but ultimately had fun and kept wanting to see them.

The more he hung out with them, the more Jimin found things about the elder that he liked. The way he pretends not to care but takes care of someone, the way he tries and successfully makes them laugh, the way he's passionate about his craft, and much more he could go off on.

It's getting harder to hide his feelings but Jimin thinks he's doing a pretty good job.

'"Hahahahah! That's so funny Yoongi hyung!" He laughed at the elder's joke as the trio sat at a booth in a pizza parlor.

"I wasn't trying to be funny." Yoongi replied, looking confused.

"I know that!"  Jimin bluffed, trying to salvage the situation. "I was just trying to lighten the mood!" He quickly answered with a smile. Hoseok just looked at the younger in disbelief. He couldn't believe how uncool he was in front of Yoongi! He couldn't even believe that he's trying to help the boy!

To Hoseok, Yoongi is just another emo kid who says what they observe. He didn't necessarily think it was a bad thing, but he surely didn't find it attractive. He wondered why Jimin would fall for someone like Min Yoongi.

Jimin is so happy and optimistic, and Yoongi is so.....

Not.

They're like complete opposites. But Hoseok just assumes that this is that saying, "opposites attract", happening in real life. Astonishing him with the actions of his usually level headed best friend Park Jimin.

"You were saying some pretty dark things. We needed a mood lift." Hoseok jumped in, trying to save Jimin from the hole he dug himself.

Yoongi just shrugged before their pizza arrived, thanking the waitress and grabbing a slice first since he's the oldest.

"Some dark things just need to be said and sometimes, the ominous mood helps your understanding of said thing." He said, taking another bite of pizza.

The younger boys looked at eachother in confusion before just dismissing Yoongi and changing the subject.

"So? High school's almost over, did you guys apply for any schools?" Hoseok asked the others.

"I applied for Korea National University of Arts and Seoul Institute of the Arts." The eldest spoke up.

"What? Really?! That's amazing hyung!" Jimin smiled at him, showing his support for Yoongis musical career.

"Yeah, but I might end up just going to Busan National, you know? It's cheaper." He added.

"I get it. How about you Jimin?"

"Me? Oh, I'm not planning on going to college."

"What?!" They both exclaimed.

"You know that college is like a staple right?! You get higher paying jobs with degrees."

"Yeah, and it looks good. And you're smart so it shouldn't be hard to go." Yoongi added, which made Jimin look away due to a light blush landing on his cheeks.

"I mean yeah, I have been getting emails about scholarships but I'm not sure if I want to go." Or if I would even be here that long.

"Jimin. You can't miss out on a free ride to college! People would kill for that opportunity! Hell, Yoongi would." Hoseok motioned to the elder, who just nodded, agreeing with the statement.

"Yall are unbelievable. That's not something to joke about!" Jimin laughed.

"Ok, I admit it was a little morbid bUT- that shouldn't take your attention away from the subject at hand! This is free money Jimin! You should take it!"

"I'll think about it." Jimin lied before he bit into his slice of pizza. "I'm serious!" He exclaimed after seeing Hoseoks reaction to his statement.

"How about you Hoseok?" Yoongi asked, elaborating once he saw his confused face. "What schools have you applied for?"

"Oh! I think I'm just gonna go to Busan National. I like their dance program and it's close to home. It's practical." Yoongi perked up at that.

"So we'll be seeing eachother next year maybe?" Hoseok nodded, looking uninterested. "Alright! Well Jimin,  you can't leave yourself out of the equation can you? Join us!"

"I said I'll think about it!" Jimin smiled at the elder, sipping on his drink before looking at the empty pizza tray.  "Alright, let's go! I'll pay!"

"Are you kidding?" Yoongi interrupted. "I'm the oldest I'm paying!" He took out his wallet.

"No way! I invited you guys! I'm paying!" Jimin argued, not wanting the elder to pay when he's the guest.

"Guys! It's ok! Just flip a coin or something!" Hoseok butted in, getting tired of being out. He just wanted to go home.

"Fine." Yoongi muttered, bringing out a coin from his wallet and looking at Jimin. "I got tails."

He flipped the coin, catching it and flipping it onto the back of his other hand, holding his hand over the coin for suspense.

"Get on with it already! I'm tired!" Hoseok whined, moving Yoongis hand from over his other, revealing the coin.

"Ha! I won!"

"I can't believe he won!" Jimin pouted as he and Hoseok were walking to his house. They didn't drive since the pizza place was down the street from Jimins house.

"I can't believe you argued over who pays. I mean he's the oldest just let him pay Jimin!"

"But I'm the one who invited him!"

"So? Free food is free food! Take all opportunities when people offer to pay! That's why I didn't jump in when you two were going at it!"

"Yeah, it had nothing to do with you being cheap." Jimin spoke, words full of sarcasm.

"Oh shut up! It's called saving your money! Don't you want me to get a car so you don't have to keep driving me around!"

"I mean, it would be nice. But what's the point? Most colleges don't allow freshmen to have cars. And we have a couple more months before graduation." Jimin brought up, having Hoseok pause in thought.

"You're right." He shrugged, before clapping his hands together when they reached Jimins porch.

"I'm always right." Jimin smiled. "Ok, bye Hoseo-"

"Actually Jimin, can I ask you something?" He asked nervously.

"Sure, what's up?"

"Um, it's about Yoongi actually..." The topic made Jimin more interested.

"What about him?"

"I don't know. He just seems....weird? I don't know." He shrugged.

"What do you mean?"

"Its been a month, he's hung out with us a lot, I know you like him but he doesn't seem legit. I know I was supportive of you going after him before but-" He finally spoke out.

"Ohhhh. I get it." Jimin smiled. "You're jealous!"

"What?!" The taller exclaimed in shock at the smaller's tease.

"Yeah! You're just scared that he would take your best friend away! But it's ok, Hobi!" Jimin hugged the elder in order to attempt to console him. "You'll never lose me as a friend!"

"Jimin that's not-"

"Its all gonna be alright! Now I gotta go before Jin hyung gets worried. See ya tomorrow!" He went into the house before Hoseok could go on further.

"Thats not what I meant... I hope the bad feelings I'm getting won't last."
