"Jimin, honey, we need to talk." Jimins mother said, entering his room with his father.

"What's up guys?" He looked up from his homework towards his parents.

"Well you see,"she sat next to him on the bed of green and blue anemones, "you're getting older and-"

"Oh eomma please let's not have the puberty talk right now, I get it, my fins will get bigger, my voice'll get deeper, I'll get taller-"

"No hun,"she interrupted, "you see...umm....Eric! You say it!"

"Uh ok then.....ummm....Jimin, aish, how do I say this? You're going to live on land for a while." Jimins face froze, wondering if this was a joke or not. He didn't know what to say, so he laughed.

"Haha guys, really funny, now why are you really here?"

"No Jimin, we're telling the truth. You need to go on land for educational purposes. Some things you just can't learn in the ocean." His mother said.

"What?! You're serious?! I really have to go?!" So many questions ran through Jimins head, it was so hard to comprehend what was happening. And he couldn't put his mind into words. It was like his voice box was broken, not letting words pass out of his mouth.

"What- how- why? How will I even get there? GASP HOW WILL I GET LEGS?!"

"All of that will be taken care of son, you'll have a tutor. You'll train for 2 months before you go, don't worry, we won't let you go in blind."

"What about everyone? How will I leave my friends? Or you guys?"

"It'll be hard Jimin we know, trust me I know. I'm your mother I don't want to send you away. It'll be hard to live without you as well." She put her arm around his shoulder.

"Why is it for education?" He looked at his parents again, is this really happening? He thought.

"Some things you just can't learn down here son."

"What if I don't wanna go?"

"That's fine, you just won't become king and well have to send your brother in 2 years when he's your age. Would you like that instead?"

"No no no, I'll do it." They knew Jimin would never put his brother through an experience like this. Jihyun was too special to Jimin for to put him through that.

"But why now, I'm only 14, I can't handle myself."

"You won't be alone, you'll have a teacher remember? He'll be with you most of the time, except for school of course." This was all a lot to take in.

"Can I have a minute?"

"Of course honey." Then his parents swam out of the room, leaving Jimin to his thoughts. He couldn't believe they were making him do this.

He couldn't help but think negative thoughts. I mean, how is he just supposed to adapt to living on land? He's lived in the sea for his whole life! How is he supposed to learn what 1 year old human babies learn after a year of life, in 2 months?! This is insane!

He was pulled out of his thoughts by a knock on the door.

He looked around to make sure his room wasn't that messed up, then shouted, "Come in!"

As the door opened, he could see his favorite dongsaeng enter the room.

"Hey hyung!" He smiled showing his seabunny teeth towards Jimin, and he smiled back. He swam up to his hyung and sat down next to him, where the queen had been sitting previously.

"Hey Kook what's up?"

"The land hyung duhhhh" he chuckled, "what else would be up there?"

"Oh shut up!" Jimin said even tho he laughed with the younger. "Why did you come here Kook-ah?"

"What? I can't come see my favorite hyung when I want to? Ok I see how it is I'll just leave then." He joked, getting up to "leave".

"Sit down, you know what I meant!" Jimin laughed again.

"Ahh I know hyung, I just like messing with you. Anyways I just came cuz I was bored so....whatcha doing?"

"I was doing homework but then my parents came in and talked to me and now you're here."

"Oh so what did they to you talk about, if you don't mind me asking?"

"I don't mind,  but I have yet to process the information so I'll tell you another day ok?"

"Alright hyung......."

Jungkook turned his head toward Jimin who then felt the strong gaze of the maknae on him and turned to look at him as well.

They stared at eachother, for probably way longer then they should. Jungkook knew what he wanted, and he sought out to achieve it today.

After 2 minutes, or so, of the staring, Jungkook finally slowly leaned towards Jimin, looking from his eyes to his lips, multiple times.

Jimin couldn't believe what was happening, not knowing whether he wanted it or not. He was surprised that Jungkook was trying kiss him right now. Still debating with himself, he decided to just go for it and see how he feels after. So soon, Jimin was leaning in as well.

As their lips were centimeters apart, Jimins conch shell for dinner time rang, making both boys jolt from the shock and look away from eachother. Both blushing madly, they continued to stare at the floor in an awkward silence. Jimin was the first to break it.

"U-umm i-it's time for d-dinner s-so..."

"Oh yeah umm....ok bye hyung see you in school!" And off jungkook swam, so fast, he could join the swimming team at their school.

As jungkook swam away, he felt disappointed. He probably just showed his hyung his feelings, without getting a kiss out of it. And man, it looked like he was gonna kiss back. It would've been perfect.

THAT STUPID ALARM, he thought.

Meanwhile jimin still sat on his bed, thinking about what just happened between them, does Jungkook like him? Does he like Jungkook? We're they really about to kiss? Would they have kissed if it wasn't for the stupid conch alarm?

Little did jimin know the answer to all those questions was, yes....
