"I mean, yeah he's cute, and nice, and sweet, and adorable, but, I can't see us dating."

Jimin was still moping around the house, throwing around heavy sighs every chance he gets and Jin is sick of it!

"Jimin! You have got to stop moping around like this! It's not good for you and not particularly fun for me to watch either." Jin scolded the younger who was standing in the kitchen eating ice cream and pouting.

"Hyung, you're the one who bought me the ice cream." He whined.

"And I'm also the one who regrets it!"

"I just need some more time hyung."

"It's been 5 days! You haven't left the house, or even seen Jungkook in that time!" He argued.

"Why do I need to see Jungkook?" Jimin asked, he's pretty tired of hearing his name by now, Jin mentions him everyday. He stuffed some ice cream in his mouth.

"Because he's your only other friend here! Don't you need more comfort other than just me? I'm getting pretty tired of comforting you." Jin states, while crossing his arms.

"I mean, I guess." He said as he shuffles his feet.

"Besides," Jin adds,"you could finally find out whether he likes you or not!" He squeals. Jimin shoots his head up.

"Um..hyung?"

"Yeah sorry." Jimin ponders on that last sentence, it would be nice to finally get some closure.

"Fine I'll call him."

"Yes!" Jin yells. "And go out to meet him because you need some fresh air." He said running towards his room to give Jimin some privacy. Jimin grabbed his phone and dialled Jungkooks number, he answered on the 2nd ring.

"Hyung?"

"Hey Kook..."

"Hey. What's up?"

"Nothing, can you meet me at that park I showed you?"

"Um, sure I guess? Why may I ask?"

"I need to tell you something. Why I was off the grid this week."

"Oh I see, I'll be there in 10."

"10?! Oh no boy I need to get ready! Be there in an 40!"

"Ok hyung," he chuckled,"be there in 40. Bye!"

"See ya!"

That wasn't so hard.

Now the hard part was getting him to admit if he has feelings for Jimin.

Jimin walked to the park to see Jungkook already there sitting on a bench.

"Jungkook, it hasn't even been 40 minutes yet!" The younger jumped, making Jimin laugh.

"Hello to you too, hyung." He said before standing up and hugging Jimin. The latter put his arms around Jungkook as well, before they broke and sat down.

"What's up, hyung?"

Now Jimin could start his plan, if he finds out whether Jungkook likes him or not, he can plan what to do next.

"Well, I decided to tell you why I've been moping for the past couple of days, and it's not your fault so don't think that." He pointed at Jungkook.

"Ok. Take your time." Jimin could see how the younger was paying attention and patiently waiting for him to speak.

"Well, long story short, Yoongi and Hoseok are dating now..." Jungkook was shocked.

"Oh."

"Yeah that was sort of my reaction too, only more emotional..." Jimin looked down. Jungkook noticed this and tried to comfort the older by hugging him. He put his arms around Jimin once again and pulled him close.

"You'll be fine hyung. I'm sure of it." He whispered in Jimins ear.

"I know but, I guess I'm just confused. What am I supposed to do now? He was the reason I stayed really."

"Really?"

"Yeah, and I didn't even spend a lot of time with him. You know he was writing that song."

"Yeah I know."

Jimins Pov

Operation: "Does Jungkook like me?" Is a go!

"Would we have looked good together?"

"W-we?" He stammered.

"Yoongi and I?" I looked up at him. He seemed shocked that I asked him that question. Interesting...

"Uhh...I don't know...I guess..." he said in a small voice.

Hmmm he seems disappointed. What does that mean?

"So we wouldn't have...That's okay, I guess I just needed a wake up call. I'll find someone else. Maybe closer than I think." I hinted again, seeing his cheeks tint pink.

"H-how close?" He asked.

"I don't know." I said, shrugging my shoulders.

Or do I?

"Kookie, do you think anyone will love me one day?" I looked down again. He sat up straight and looked towards me again. He grabbed my chin and brought it up so he could look into my eyes. His eyes are so dark and mysterious, mesmerizing. Something fluttered in my stomach. What the heck?

"Jimin, people already love you. I don't know all your friends, but Jin and Namjoon hyung seem to love you lots."

"Do you love me?" Something in his strong facial expression faltered. I don't think he was prepared for my question, because he started to blush a darker color than pink, and he avoided my gaze.

"Uh...um..." he started, I was about to pull away and apologize because I know how that question sounded to him, but he answered first.

"I mean, how could I not?" He answered with a shy smile. Aww! He's too cute!

It's only then when I realize how close we are. He's still grasping my chin, and I think he notices as well because he starts to pull his hand away before I place my hands over his.

"Why?" I ask him, staring back at him. I don't notice how much closer we are at the moment, I just wanted to feel him closer. As he searched for an answer, I quietly scooted closer. My plan is, if he goes along with this, then he likes me, if not... then he doesnt.

I look up at him and try to make the most cute and innocent look I can pull off. He turns to look back at me and takes a sharp breath of air. I look down toward his lips and lean closer. He leans closer as well, to the point where I could feel his breath on my lips.

Then he turned his head.

Something in me shattered.

I didn't expect rejection to hurt this bad.

Especially when I don't know how I feel about him yet.

"Um." He said. I guess he doesn't like me then.

"Sorry." I quickly mumbled before slowly pulling his hands off my face.

"No it's my fault. It's just- Jimin, you're getting over Yoongi right now. You're just confused, you don't want me."

"I may be confused, but at least I know what I want right now."

"You're right. But what you want isn't me, you want comfort." There was a twinge of sadness in his voice, it breaks my heart.

"Im sorry hyung, I'm not interested in being a rebound." Then he got up and walked away.

Before I could say anything, before I could even deny his accusation.
