"That was the best Itsuki!" Trey shouted while I and the basketball team walk to the dorms. Some of the teammates went home by bus or train because they haven't got a dorm.

The path we are all taking is the main one where it was clean and filled with students going to the dorms. Passing students compliment on our game earlier.

"Guys we should celebrate on Sunday!" Hayate-Kun suggested.

"No wh-" I was interrupted by someone pushing 45 Domen onto the fall. His fall echoed the pathway causing the other students to stop and remained onto their position glancing onto the commotion. It turns out to be the Apus team pushing Domen down then they began to laugh. Daiki wasn't there at that time but some of them are.

"Hey, what the fuck!" 15 Rebel shouted at the Apus team.

"Oh sorry, but your friend is a bit 'skinny' and we didn't saw him" 15 Hase mocked us then the Apus team burst into laughter.

I approached 15 Hase and gave a dead glared at him causing a standoff at the pathway "Do we have a problem?" I simply questioned him in an annoyed tone.

"Do we?" Hase has given me a sarcastic reply.

Our standoff lasted like forever with a chance of us retaliating a punch or kick. I was going to turn around and leave them but instead.

He then punched me very hard and pushed me onto the ground causing to have a black eye, blood on eyebrows, and being unconscious. This is the start of one of the worst student brawls in my school's history. They all charged onto the Apus team after falling onto the ground.

It was chaos I was laying on the ground knocked unconscious bleeding. Hayate dragging me out of the once peaceful pathway but now turned into a battlefield. One of the Apus members was going to disrupt Hayate until Daichi-san pushed him to the ground and started punching.

"Thanks, Daichi-san!!" Hayate shouted to Daichi-san.

"Go!" Daichi-san replied before punching again the Apus member.

While Hayate is dragging me I couldn't acknowledge everything as I am unconscious.

"Cmon wake-up Itsuki!" I shouted at Itsuki while dragging him out of the battlefield.

Everything is in chaos with almost everyone punching each other and more people are pouring into the battlefield. Bystanders are calling the police and ambulance.

When we got out the battle zone some students from the middle school batch helped me placed Itsuki-kun onto a safe spot.

"Has anyone called the police and ambulance!?" I asked one of the student's bystanders.

"Yes, Hayate-kun there on their way" The unknown student replied.

Cmon Itsuki-Kun wake up! The sirens were wailing onto the distance cutting my anxious thoughts. The Apus team gave up fighting and ran off leaving some of their teammates laying on the ground injured. The 'Tigers' chased one of the members and tackled him onto the ground.

When the police and ambulances arrived they investigated the area and treated the wounded and police interviewed all the witnesses. I and Daichi are in the Ambulance heading to the hospital where Itsuki-kun would get proper treatment.

Itsuki-kun is still unconscious after his knockout his punched cheek is becoming reddish with a black eye onto his right eye.

When we arrived at the hospital he was rushed to the E.R. We tried to follow him but we were blocked by nurses and commanded us to take a seat in the waiting area.

I pulled out my phone and contacted Emi-San. My hands are in a tremble and sweat falling onto the floor, as the phone kept ringing I felt more and more anxious. I am trying to figure out how to announce Emi-san on what happened to Itsuki.

"Hey, Hayate-Kun" Those two happy words from Emi-San caused me to shake further.

"Emi-san... Itsuki..." I was stuttering and braving myself to tell Itsuki's condition.

"What about Itsuki? Did something happen to him? Did he go-" I cut out Emi-San with the words I was braw enough to speak.

"Itsuki is at the hospital Injured and unconscious" I quickly said it and it calm down my shoulders.

"Wait.. what!? What happened to him!?" She replied in distress

"Just come to the hospital I will text you where I and Daichi-San are" I reassured her and texted the address of the hospital.

A bright light shines onto my closed eyes with that I opened my eyes and saw Emi-San sleeping onto the bed's guard rail. I turned my head slightly onto the left to see the window dark telling that it was night time. I turned my head onto the digital clock and showed the time 4:25 Am. I turned my head onto my right seeing Emi-San sleeping peacefully.

"Emi-San," I said in a soft voice then brushed her hair treating her like a cat.

She suddenly tilts her head slightly onto the left. I retreat my hand onto the bed. She lifts her head and brushed her eyes while moving onto her sit position, after rubbing her eyes she saw me laying in bed creating a curve smile before saying.

"Good morning"

She was shocked and flustered at the same time. She started sobbing then moved closer to me landing her body onto mine then wrapping her arms around me. I could feel her warmth and heartbeat racing and tremble. I wrapped my arms around her.

"Tanaka...." She continued sobbing onto my chest.

I continued smiling and gave a brush on her hair then patting it calming her down. I could feel her tremble to disappear from her body and all that remained was sobbing. She remained onto my chest crying out her last tears.

"I'm afraid of losing you again..." She was stuttering and snips.

"I am too, but hey im fine now" I reassured her.

"Plus I made a promise that I would be by your side no matter what happened" I added.

She retreated back from her sitting position before calling the doctor to come in and examined me. The Doctor asked me questions about my memory while Emi-San was overhearing our conversation with the Doctor.

The Doctor announced to me and Emi-san that I am ok and I would be released at the hospital in the afternoon. I and Emi-san thanked the Doctor that examined me. So I have been out for 3 days huh? Fuck Hase.

"Itsuki-Kun are you hungry? Thirsty?" Emi-San questioned me cutting out my thoughts.

"Water please" I replied.

Emi-San went to the bags and searched for the water bottle.

"Hey Emi-San sorry," I felt guilty.

"It's ok you did the same for me once" She replied then placing the water bottle onto the table on my right.

"Really? When?" I questioned.

"Do you really want my medication?" She shoots back.

"You're too cheeky Emi-San" I replied.

"Am I?" She shoots back again.

I stretch my right limbs and reached for the water bottle on the table opening its cap then drinking it.

"Also Hase is in jail time since there is a CCTV nearby capturing your fall" She announced.

I stopped drinking closing the cap then putting it back at its original location.

"Serves him right, What happened to the other Tigers?" I questioned.

"Oh them they are in good shape only minor injuries not severe like yours" She answered.

"And also your father is coming home from Paris" She added.

I gave a gloomy sighed "I should've back down..."

"Actually you shouldn't I'm proud to have a best friend who defends their friends from those jerks" She reassured me.

A knock on the door cuts out my conversation with Emi-San bringing up the expectation of my father knocking. Emi-San stood up from her chair then went for the door knocking it, as expected it was my handsome father that came in.

"Hey dad" I greeted him trying to stand up but stopped by my dad.

"Stay there" He moves in then wrapped his arms around me feeling the heavyweight of my father's backpack I couldn't breathe.

Father then retreated from me "How's your trip dad?"

"It's good how are you Itsuki? Are you feeling alright? Does anything else hurt?" A round of questions was spoken.

"I'm ok dad" I replied.

"That Hase kid would get a taste of his medicine" Father clutches his fists.

"Hey dad it's ok he didn't kill me plus he's probably arrested by now" I reassured him.

"Saying his name out loud makes my blood boil" Father added.

"Me too, but just don't fight" I replied.

"Fine, So how are you with your 'Girlfriend'?" Father joked causing Emi-san to turn red.

"DAD!" I shouted out of my embarrassment.

"Oh cmon Itsuki, she's always the one who you're always talking about when you're in Elem" Father reminded me causing Emi-san to become more reddish.

"DAD!!!" I shouted louder out of my Irritation.

My Father then chuckles, as he saw what is happening between me and Emi-San.
