I and Hayate went to the boys changing room to change our uniforms into the basketball team outfit. There has been a basketball tournament in the school between other classrooms in our batch. I volunteered to join the basketball team in my classroom since I have experience in playing basketball why not join.

Our gym teacher Sir Davis decided to merge the other basketball teams in one which my classroom C-3 and Daichi, Hayates J-4 were merged together creating one, Daiki G-6 and classroom C-7 were joined, Classrooms G-2 where and is and C-9 where Frank is were joined. The tournament has been going for a week and the only teams that are remaining are Tigers and Apus today is the last match.

I have played basketball back in middle school which I was a pro at it. Hayate and Daichi were Novice players haven't played since 2nd year of middle school.

Daichi-Kun entered the boys changing room after I and Hayate changed into our jerseys.

"Daichi-Kun why are you, late man?" Hayate questioned.

"Oh I had to escort Rin-San at the gym's balcony sits" Daichi-Kun explained.

"Well dress up games going to start in 10 minutes" Hayate-Kun replied.

Daichi nodded as a sign of "Ok" He rushed into the boys changing room then disappearing into our sights. I and Hayate-Kun continued walking to the gym white chairs where we all would stand by and wait for the 10 minutes.

"Hey man good luck out there," Trey said to me while I was warming up with my teammates. Trey is my friend back in middle school and helped me a lot honestly his like the rich kid in school even if his grades were average he could still maintain himself here.

"Yeah, you too" I shoot back. Trey is the one who will be sitting at the infamous white chairs waiting for a replacement. I and Hayate are going into the first game and our enemy for today is Classes G-6 and C-7.

The sound of the coaches whistles echoed the whole gym signaling the 2-minute group discussion. I and Hayate and Daichi rushed to Sir Davis and formed a circle with the other basketball team members.

"Alright, guys remember your training that we did in the last 2 weeks and it doesn't matter if we lose or win what does matter is that we have fun" Sir reminded us.

Sir Davis reaches out his hand with his palm shown and then flips it revealing his knuckles and nails. We all did the same and stacked up our hands forming a tower. I was in the middle of the tower and it felt heavy, but that didn't bother me. "3" "2" "1" "Tigers!" We all shouted.

The sound of another whistle echoed the room with the Basketball commenters commenting our positions onto the court. The commenters consisting of year 2 students who have experience with commenting things.

"Alright folks the game has begun the Tiger team and Apus is now in position waiting for the ball to go mid-air for them to catch" A Commenter announced.

I was positioned behind Hayate getting ready for the ball to pass to me in case.

The ball was tossed in the air making Daichi and the Apus members jump to catch the ball. In a split second Daichi catches the ball passing it to a Tiger member.

"45 Domen Has now got the ball from 12 Saito and now passing to 38 Tanaka near the ring" B commenter announced.

I successfully catch the ball onto my hands aiming it to the ring. I shoot the ball within inner the marked color.

"38 Tanaka successfully shot the ball onto the ring!" A commenter added.

The crowded cheered filling the gym with "Tiger!" and "Go Itsuki!"

"That's 2 points for the Tiggers" B commenter replied.

The Apus now obtained the ball passing to 15 Drake Hase one of the best basketball players in the school. Tigers 67 Daichi Nakamura, 12 Hayate Saito tried to block him but got passed in a last-ditch effort...

"15 Hase is now moving in for a 3 point shot" B commenter announced.

"And 45 Domen is now moving in for a block against 15 Hase and a Foul!"

Our coaches guided us into a new formation.

15 Hase is now at the middle breathing heavily and the calming down. He lifts the ball then shoots in a shooting position.

And it went through Sir Mark throw back the ball at 15 Hase dribbling one time then shoots scoring 2 points.

Another ball was given to him and again timed his shot and fixed position shooting making a 3 point score.

The game went on and I could hear my batch mates shouting at our team "Go Tigers!" One of them caught my eye and it's Emi-san holding the banner that Miya-san and Eiko made. I winked at Emi-san even though she doesn't notice.

I sighed making my friend turned her head glancing her green grapes eyes onto my bright crimson eyes "You alright Rin-San?" My best friend Erika-San catches my attention. Erika-san has been my friend since in Elementary we have been loyal to each other.

"It's just why does Itsuki-Kun notice Emi-san than me.." I complained to Erika-san.

"Isn't your fault why Itsuki-Kun lost interest in you?" She shoots back.

"It was an emergency.." I shoot back glaring at her.

"Not that I am obstructing your decisions but... you should've stayed" She replied.

I quit glaring at her and stayed silent "You already said to me that they have a 'history' so you're pretty much doomed from the start so just give up and move on girl why n-" She added.

"I... I love him..." I cut out what Erika is saying and gave gloomy sigh.

"Well, you just have to accept it... Or confess your feelings to him now" She reassured me.

I glanced onto Itsuki on the court while he was rushing towards the ball then giving a sad sigh.

HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

The sound of the end game horn echoed the room signaling the end of the first game.

"There goes for the first game folks" A commenter announced.

"That was an Intense round already yeah 38 Tanaka was slaying the field up to 9 points!" B commenter added.

"The Tigers have a score of 15 while Apus has 13 two points away from each other" C commenter added.

When I arrived at the Tiger's waiting point I was greeted with warm pats on my shoulder from the rosters waiting for their turn to play.

"You are killing it, dude!" One of the rosters complimented my game.

"Thanks but I think you should thank the first game players, not just me" I replied.

I and the rosters talked for a bit they were admiring my skills in basketball. In return, I just thanked them before I had to go to my buds and check on them.

When I approached Hayate Daichi-san was gone. Hayate greeted me instead.

"Hey, Itsuki-Kun that was one hell of a first game you're slaying the field" Hayate admired my skills and has the same exact dialogue as from what the rosters said.

"Thanks, it's not just me it's also you and Daichi-san speaking of him where is he?" I questioned Hayate.

"Oh him he went to Rin to go check on her" Hayate answered.

"Really? That's two times this day" I commented.

"Maybe Daichi-Kun has feelings for her" Hayate shoot back.

Hhhhhhhhhhhhh!

The sound of the second game horn echoed the gym disturbing our conversation.

"You and Daichi on rosters, right?" I quickly asked Hayate.

"Yeah we are good luck out there" Hayate shoot back.

I rushed to the field and went to my position new faces on the field show up 62 Bando and 13 Hino.

"Alright, folks the second game has begun Apus would be the first to hold the ball" A commenter announced.

I was sweating bullets my heart pounding getting ready to rush and pass the ball.

"90 Eto from Apus passed to 98 Fujiwara and it seems like 45 Domen and 15 Rebel is blocking 98 Fujiwara" A commenter Announces.

"O wait 98 passed it to 15 Hase at the three-point shooting range and..." B commenter cuts A commenter.

15 Hase has shot the ball onto the three-point range and went through. The crowd cheered for Apus chanting "HASE!"

The game went on for like forever and I was sweating bullets we are taking scores and competing with the Apus team. I was a beast in the battlefield slaying points while Hase is also a beast taking 3 points shot risks. Eventually, game 2 ended with us taking the lead of 31 while the Apus having 29 two points away...

This time I was replaced by 6 Hayate Saito in the roster team since continuous running and jumping caused me to be tired. 25 Daiki Kobayashi is now in the field replaced by 15 Hase.

I noticed students leaving their sits on the balcony gym probably taking their lunch, of course, us basketball players won't have lunch during the game that's why we are advised to eat heavy breakfast so that we won't have to be hungry.

The other rosters we're playing games onto their phone or just watching the game unfold. I am still sweating bullets with my throat dry as the Sahara desert I decided to go to my bag that I left in the bag zone opening my bag then grabbed my phone, water, and towel. I wiped all the sweat that I am complaining to my self earlier and drank water.

I opened the phone appearing the white mango logo. It only took 8 seconds for the phone to be fully opened. After those 8 seconds, it came to me the wallpaper that I set up 1 month ago showing me and Emi-san taking a selfie I was wearing a green T-shirt and jeans while she was wearing her casual outfit. I dragged my fingers onto the app "Hey!" And went to Emi-san's profile.

When I pressed her profile I started texting her "Hey 🙃" then pressed send.

After the text was sent she replied quickly "Hey 38 😁"

I texted back "Sorry but my name isn't 38, it's Itsuki your memory may be broken 😑"

Another text for her replying "Well sorry about that, I may have forgotten it because of your impressive basketball skills 😏"

I texted back "Are my basketball skills really that Impressive?"

"Judging by your number one fan, 104% Yes" She texted.

"Since when did you become my number one fan?" I texted.

"Since the day you saved my life" She texted.

"Wait did I save your life?" I texted back.

"Do you want my medication?" She texted back cheekily.

"The old Emi-San would've simply said 'Yes' then would explain to me what happened on that day" I texted back.

"Hehe, so how's game 3?" She replied.

"Oh well, Hayate-Kun and Daiki-San are fighting for the ball" I texted then took a picture of what is happening at the court sending it to Emi-san.

"Oh wow they looked like dogs fighting for one bone" She replied.

"That's basketball..." I texted.

"This is why I don't like sports" She replied.

"Well, there are other sports that don't involve you getting hurt" I texted.

"Such as?" She texted.

"I don't know to search it up on hoogle" I texted.

"Wow..." She replied.

"You should know because you are at the top of your class" She added.

"Me being at the top of the class doesn't mean that I know everything" I texted back.

"Then how did you entered this school?" She texted.

"Luck, studying hard, etc I don't know" I texted.

"Just like me huh?" She replied.

"Yeah..." I texted back.

"Also look behind you" She texted.

I looked at my left shoulder lowering my phone onto the level of my thighs. When I looked at my shoulders the only person I could see is 86 Trey in which he raised his hands and waved. I waved back in response then turned my head onto my previous position.

And still no one just the players playing at the court in which Daichi-san scored two then fouled. The commenters are on lunch break so there no announcers on whether the team scored or not.

I looked down onto my phone and texted to Emi-san "No one's there just Trey"

"Huh? Strange" A familiar voice from my right side makes me jumped and almost dropped my phone.

I glare into my right and saw Emi-san giggling from my jump "Why do you guys have to scare me!?" I shouted the roster players and Trey glanced onto us finding out what the commotion was.

"Oh come on, You look so cute when you jumped" She wheezes then turns into laughter the rosters then returned to their business after not knowing what happened.

I noticed them looked away then sighed "Whatever, aren't you supposed to eat lunch?"

"Eh, I'm still full from the scrambled eggs that you'd make" She replied.

"I should've applied for a cook, not a waiter" I chuckled.

Whhhhhhhhhh!

Sound of a shoe getting a lot of friction echoed the gym and the sound of a hard fall. It turns out that Hayate was the one falling onto the ground. He's fall was hard really hard that it disturbed my conversation with Emi-san.

"Wait right here ok?" I calmly commanded to Emi-san then giving her my phone before rushing through the court.

I then rushed to the court where Hayate has fallen. When I arrived at the scene that as one crowded with players from both teams his injuries were bad.

He had a huge wound onto his ankle showing the appearance of a bloody scar he is now laying down onto the floor of the gym.

"You ok Hayate?" I and Daiki questioned while the surrounding crowd of players murmurs.

He nodded in response until the coaches approached the scene. They asked what happened to Hayate and then he was taken out of the court and replaced by Trey.

Emi-San went back to her seat at the gym balcony while Miya-san heads to the infirmary to check on Hayate-Kun.

The score between Apus and Tigers were almost at tie Apus being in the lead of 54 while Tigers having 52 two points away. I have then joined at game 4 in the last game of today.

It came to my thought on what happened to Hayate and thought myself in that situation, although it didn't bother me at all.

"Alright, Game 4 has now started with the Tigers having the ball" A commenter announced.

"Also 6 Hayate Saito has been badly injured and was rushed to the infirmary" B commenter added.

"That's bad news I hope he's ok in the infirmary" A commenter expressed concern.

"Oh! 38 Tanaka snatched the ball from 5 at Apus team then a two-point score! with a foul!" C commenter cuts.

The crowded students lean onto the guard rails of the gym balcony and some stood up. I was sweating bullets and my heart beating fast as a sports car on the highway. I positioned onto the middle for the foul shot.

Coach gave me the ball and caught it dribbling it onto the floor gently 3 times before shooting onto the net. It successfully went through and one of the Tigers caught the ball and toss it right back to me. I again timed my shot and positioned myself professionally then shooting it a second time and successfully went through the net. The crowd chanted "Tigers!" After successfully scoring 4 points.

The game went on shot after shot and foul after foul. Now it was at the last minute as the time ticks and I rushing to the ball makes me nervous and anxious.

"15 Hase is now going in for the 2 point shot... Oh! He's ball is snatched by 38 Tanaka he only got 9 secs before the game 4 end" A commenter announced with the crowd gasping and cheering.

"38 Tanaka is sprinting very fast onto the rin-" B commenter stopped as he sees me shooting at the middle of the court half the distance of the 3 point shot line.

I pulled out all my strength and without any thoughts and a split-second decision was made onto my mind to shoot the ball onto this distance. I shot the ball in the middle of the court attempting a half-court shot.

The crowd gasps even the commenters gasps onto their mics. I stare down onto the ball as it falls down to earth. The ball has successfully gone through the net in which breaking the lead of the Apus instantly and causing the crowd to make the loudest cheer on Tigers with hands clapping.

"Oh my god! What a shot!" C commenter replied.

"Unbelievable" B commenter added.

"What an intense game this is" A commenter added.

My heart skips and felt like I could do everything even the impossible things. My teammates, we're now crowding on me with a lot of pats and a hug from Hayate-Kun and Daichi-san. It was the best I have played in my life.
