I woke up from the light that entered the bedroom window eyeing the ceiling of the double-deck bed it became common for me to always see the ceiling in the morning. I then feel a warm tight object hugging me as if there was someone spooning me.

I was curious and turned my head onto my right and came to my surprise it was Emi-San hugging me tightly. I startled, but then I remember that Hayate and Miya are at the upper deck of the bed I and Emi were at the bottom. Her head was positioned onto my chest and her arms wrapping my side chests. She was cute as a panda when sleeping I let her hug me and waited for her to wake up. While waiting I got myself lost in my thoughts.

Is it possible that she could bring back her memories? But the doctor said that it's going to take time before she remembers back all the memories.

I move in my left hand onto her blue hair brushing it then patting it don't worry Emi-san I promise we will bring back your memories.

She slowly opened her eyes and felt my warm hand on her hair. She then glances into me with her head placed onto my chest she didn't back out instead she stayed into her position. Her eyes were crystal blue with her wearing the oversized t-shirt.

"Good morning" I gave her a frown.

"Good morning" She curves her lips then closes her eyes giving me that cute smile making me blush.

"Hey, guys good morning!" Hayate-Kun peeked below us waving then yawning.

"So it's natural for Miya-San to sleep longer at weekends?" I asked Hayate while Itsuki is drinking Nilo in his cup.

"Yup I guess she's a heavy sleeper when there's no school" Hayate replied then taking a bite into the sandwich he made.

"She's always been like that since we all met" Itsuki joined in the chat after drinking my Nilo drink.

"Oh" She replied giving way for silence to echo the dinner room.

"So Itsuki about the school contest who is going to be the lead singer in your club?" Hayate asked Itsuki about it.

I decided to stay silent and let the two boys talk "Mr. Akimasa is still deciding so we still don't know" Itsuki answered Hayate's question.

"Is that so? I think it's going to be you" Hayate voted.

"No man my bet is Dekisu, Wendel, and Tyrone" Itsuki regretted Hayate's vote.

My phone began to ring and vibrate onto the table after Itsuki replied. The two boys turned their heads into me then I snatched my phone on the table and opened it revealing Sensei Akimasa I quickly answered the phone.

"Good morning Emi-San, I would like to speak to Itsuki-Kun his phone is not ringing," Mr. Akisama asked a favor.

"Ok Sir" I accepted "Itsuki-Kun here" I passed my phone onto Itsuki-Kun.

Hayate then looked at Itsuki after I passed my phone onto him "Yes sir?"

I and Hayate couldn't hear much of the dialogue and just waited to finish "Really sir? Thank you!" Itsuki creates a big curve line onto his lips.

We were confused about what Mr. Akisama said to Itsuki "Ok ok Sir Thank you, bye" Itsuki hang up the call.

"So?" I and Hayate questioned Itsuki in unison.

Itsuki gave me back my phone before replying "Sir announced the lead singers.." We were silently waiting for Itsuki to say.

"Emi-San and Itsuki are the leading singers" I was flustered creating a red tomato face.

Hayate stood up and gave a pat on Itsuki's shoulders "Congrats man!" He shouted.

"Wait wait... Why me?" I was confused and questioned Itsuki.

"I can't do this, I have stage fright" I panicked and gave a reason.

Itsuki stood up and came over to me and gave a warm pat onto my left shoulder "Hey you can do it, we still have 2 months of practice" Itsuki gave me a smile that calm down my nerves. I stayed silent and just nodded as a sign of "Ok"

"What's all with the commotion?" Miya-san came out of the bedroom while rubbing her eyes.

"Emi-San and Itsuki-Kun are the lead singers at the music contest!" Hayate shouted again.

Miya-san widened her eyes then curving a smile her sleepy head disappeared then "EMI-SAN" She shouted then barrel towards Emi-San hugging her tightly.

"Miya-san! I can't breathe!" I complained then the two boys started laughing.

The afternoon had come. Miya-san and Hayate-Kun left and returned to their dorms because of their chores. Emi-San also left because she had a part-time job. This is so boringgggggg! Ugh maybe I should find a part-time job, but then what type of job? I know!

I snatched my phone on the living room table and opened pressing Hayate's profile. It began to ring then he answered.

"Hey Itsuki-Kun" He greeted me.

"Hey Hayate-Kun about your job is there any slots yet?" I asked him.

"The waiter's job?" Hayate-Kun repeats my question.

"Yes," I answered.

"Well here in Saikō no ryōri (Best Dish) You need to be trained before you go in cause they won't be accepting amateur waiters" Hayate explained "But I can train you if you really like to work as a part-timer" He continued.

"Yes, please I need it" I accepted his offer.

"Alright we'll start from Saturday and Tuesday next week are you ok with that?" Hayate reminded me.

I and Hayate began chatting after the question about his job. It lasted for an hour talking about stuff. Eventually, we had to hang up. I placed my phone onto the living room table that was once placed.

I lay down onto the couch feeling my eyes heavy after saying that though I let myself drift into sleep. Until my phone began to ring echoing the living room then the table shaking due to its vibration. I opened my eyes suddenly and felt irritated. I stood up my body and snatched the phone on the table while sitting.

"Hello?" I answered the phone call.

"Hey Itsuki-Kun you busy today?" A familiar voice rang out onto my right ear. It was Xenophon, my club mate he is the half British-Japanese guy, he is fluent in Japanese, but always says Mate instead of Kun, Maybe because of his British language, He is one of the guitarists in the club.

"No, I'm not why?" I shoot back.

"Could you help me and Frank at the guitars since you are the leading singer at the contest" He replied. The second most popular guy in school is asking me for guitar lessons.

"Oh, Sure where are we going to meet?" I accepted his offer and asked with doubt or decision.

"At the dorm building rooftop?" He replied.

"Sure" I answered.

We argue about what time do we go there and instead chose the time 3:40 In the afternoon. I went to the bedroom and changed my outfit into typical guitarist wear. Consisting of ripped jeans a T-shirt that has black stripes and a white base. I was ready to go out, but I remembered leaving a note whenever one of us is out and one will go out. I wrote a letter about going to the roof doing guitar lessons to my club mates then plotting them onto the surface of the fridge using a fridge magnet.

I grabbed my guitar that is inside the guitar case where I wear the case onto my chest. I snatched my keys to the dorm and closed the door behind me inserting the dorm key then turning to lock it. I went my way onto the dorm's elevator joining with other students. When I got in the people inside pressed their floors and I pressed the close button and the number of the floor of the elevator which slowly closes the elevator.

I could hear murmurs about something from the students behind me.

"Is that Itsuki?" The guy wearing a black hoodie behind me murmured.

"Yeah, I think," Another guy wearing a blue T-shirt said behind me before the elevator stopped at the floor they chose.

The two guys got out of the elevator looking from their shoulder glaring at me. As the elevator was closing I can hear a girl shouting "Stop!". I pressed the open elevator and hold it opening back again.

"Thanks" She quickly thanked me then pressed the floor she was going then went to the middle of the elevator.

She was a freshman just like me probably heading to the other freshman floor. Her hair is red matching her bright red eyes it kind of sounds like Rin... Wait is it possible that she passed the exam at this school... I was about to turn my head at my shoulders until the elevator stopped. She was in a hurry and rushes out of the elevator dropping her wallet from her pocket and onto the floor.

I quickly picked it up and rushed out of the elevator chasing after her, but she was nowhere to be seen... I searched the corners and noting there she just vanished.

I decided to insert the wallet onto my pocket hiding it. I walked back to the elevator and find it to be already closed. The logo of a down arrow was shown on the top of the elevator continues repeating with numbers changing backward.

I change my direction to the staircase since its 2 floors away to the roof. Upon reaching the roof I was greeted by Xenophon and Frank back leaning on the edge with their ankles plotted onto the edge barrier.

"Hey, guys!" I shouted disturbing their chill.

"Hey! Itsuki-Kun" Frank shot back.

"Hey Mate!" Xenophon shouted back.

The two grabbed their instruments that are placed at the edge barrier. After grabbing I approached them and discussed what do they want to learn. After a few minutes of learning the new tricks, we were rocking. Eventually, night came and we had to
go back to our dorms. We finished playing our guitars and said our goodbyes.

"Thanks mate!" Xenophon waved his hand then vanished at my sight after entering the access roof with Frank. I smiled knowing that we had a good time up at the roof. I then remembered the wallet that the girl dropped at the elevator earlier.

I reached out my hand onto the wallet that I hid in my pocket. I opened it and looked for its information. When I looked at the left part of the wallet I saw an info card. I pulled it out from the wallet and read.

"Takagumi, Rin" I wasn't surprised that she is here.

After speaking with my thoughts I saw her new phone number giving a reason for why we didn't have contact. I pulled out my phone and entered the phone number then ringing.

"Hello?" Her voice rang in my right ear.

"Hey, Rin... Uhm I know this is awkward but Im Itsuki-Kun can we meet at the roof your wallet dropped at the elevator earlier and I picked it up" I gave a reason for her to come.

"Oh ok sure thank you!" She thanked me then hung up. I put down my phone back into my pocket and returned back the info card. Before leaning onto the edge of the barrier looking down onto the Tokyo night skyline.

I felt awkward and somewhat sadness for some reason. I mean now I know why Rin didn't contact us but why does she need to leave I could've told her how I feel... Itsuki-Kun pull yourself together, you already have Emi-san you're long lost, girlfriend and now you are showing feelings for her.

I sighed "Hey Itsuki-Kun.." A voice from behind spoke.

I turned to the speaker revealing Rin with a T-shirt and shorts. With her ruddy eyes and her hair colored in roses. She was just like the old Rin back in middle school.

"Hey..." I gave a cold response then rolling my eyes.

"Here's your wallet by the way.." I continued giving back her wallet then glared at her.

She checked the wallet to make sure nothing was stolen or missing inside then glancing at my black eyes.

Out of my expectation, she rushes to me then wrapped her arms around me "Sorry..." I could feel her heartbeat and her tremble throughout her body. She began sobbing soon my coldness to her vanished and was replaced by sympathy.

I wrap my arms around her as a sign of forgiveness. She continued sobbing while I gave her a warm brush on her red hair.

"Im sorry if I leave you guys, I could've told you all a proper goodbye..." She was trembling and her heartbeat is beating fast.

"It's ok I forgive you" I reassure her stopping her from trembling.

We talked throughout the night calming her down bit by bit until she was ready to explain why she left.

She wiped her tears in her eyes that was clouding her vision. I lean at the edge listening in front of her.

"Mom and Dad... Died and I had to leave Japan and to the U.S leaving behind my education and leaving you guys. Eventually, my phone broke so I had to buy a new one. Since I have memory gaps I couldn't remember your phone number. Until I heard about this school and I apply for it then I passed" She explained to me clearing my confusion on why she left.

I wrap my arms around her torso assuring her that I have forgiven her she wraps her arms back.
