2 years later

I closed and locked the dorm door, then headed downstairs wearing my school uniform. I had fixed my bag strap and that all of the stuff for school was there. I was enthusiastic today, waking up early.

The dream about me and that blue-haired girl have been a bother to my head for the past 40 minutes. When I head downstairs there were only a handful of students leaving their dorm rooms. Must have been earlier.

Some of the students are Junior or Sophomores, they were greeting themselves "Good morning". None of them noticed me so I ignored them heading downstairs, and towards the entrance/exit of the dorm building.

When I got down to the entrance/exit of the dorm building, there were really only a few students heading outside or hanging out passing the time.

I must be really early huh I decided to head to the school instead of passing the time, which is a walking distance away. I got out of the building and walked towards Johtoh Senior High.

I didn't mind the other students although I greeted some " Good morning". I was enthralled to go to Johtoh High since it is one of the best schools in Tokyo, and if you have good grades you will certainly study here.

Well, I and my friends passed with the best grades, I was even called the 'One of the Smartest guys in Middle School'.

I continued walking the pathway directing to Johtoh, then reached Johtoh high. The pathway towards my school is beautiful than the first visit I had. The cherry blossom trees weren't blooming when I first enrolled, now it is a masterpiece.

They are mixing with regular green trees I couldn't remember the name of the green trees, but it was beautiful. Petals landing onto my head, bag, and to the ground.

I walk through the entrance pathway towards my class. The entrance path of the school was a bit cold. When I reached inside the school I had to change my shoes. I headed to my show drawer and changed.

I then headed to the halls of the school, I was a bit confused about where direction should I go. The good thing is that there is a map I can get for free. I approached the box and grabbed one map of the school, I could see where I am and the class im supposed to go to.

I turned right and headed towards the classroom. The hallways were a bit warm, with the windows shining orange light into the school halls.

When I got to the classroom, I slide the door open revealing only 4 students doing homeroom activities. I began walking through them sitting down at the far right chairs.

I placed down my bag below the armchair fixing its position. When I'm done the fixing, I crossed my arms plotting them onto the table, then letting my thoughts roam.

What was that dream? she looked similar to Emi her head was bleeding and having bruises all over her body why? Forget it It's just a dream Itsuki and dreams aren't true you've already moved on and forgotten her, but I still missed her after these years.

The thoughts from earlier burst, as I sat cross my arms. I waited for the teacher to come in and have a functioning class.

The classroom interior was a standard one, the usual whiteboard on the front, and the announcement boards at the very back of the class, and armchairs in organized rows.

I am sitting near the far end of class minding my own business, waiting for all my classmates to come. I still have no sit mate yet. The only people here now is me and the 7 of my new classmates in the room doing things, I stayed silent for minutes observing them, waiting for some of them to notice me eventually, I became bored and decided to say "Good morning". They gladly replied with " Good morning!".

I pulled out my phone since it's only 8:12 am and the start of the class is 8:45 am. I pressed the power button, opening it and pressed the app 'Text it'. It then shows me all the contacts that I have recently opened, the first one is from Daiki, Second from Eiko his sister, Third is from Hayate, and the fourth is from Miya. Hayate and Eiko are offline but Daiki and Miya are online.

I chose to text Daiki and Miya since I can handle two conversations at once. Yeah, that's how talented I am.

I first texted Daiki "Hey dude are you coming to the first day?" I pressed send, then I switched to Miya.

"Hey, Miya you coming to the first day of our class?" I typed the words coming out my head then pressed send.

Good thing Miya is my classmate she's a smart one I could remember her teaching me that one algebra lesson that I was struggling to.

I noticed my phone sending notification about the two conversations, surprisingly they both replied at the same time!

I first opened Daiki's message reading "Yup sadly we are not classmates 😭".

"I know right, Man I wish we're all together in one class" I texted then send.

I then hover my index finger towards Miya's profile reading "Of course I never tempt myself to absent the first day".

"Wow says the girl who's always absent back in middle school" I texted then send.

And out of my expectation, Miya quickly texted. "Hey! That was different" I read then chuckle.

"Yeah yeah, im just messing with you" I texted then pressed send.

"Also I think you should look to your right" She texted.

Hmm, what does she mean?

I glanced to my right and saw her sitting next to me, she was looking at me smiling.

She was wearing the school uniform,  long black socks stretching to her thighs, her long black hair stretching to her waist, a hair clip on the side of her hair, her eyes were bright grape-like purple she was very cute like manga-like cute.

"Didn't notice you there Miya-san" I was flustered.

"Just wanted to surprise you" She giggled.

"You did well" I chuckled.

"So how's your break?" I added.

"It's nice, least we get a one month break from studying" She answered.

Before I could say anything my phone started to blow up with notifications.

"Hey, uhm I gotta answer this text just wait for a minute" I assured her.

I turned away from her and looked at m phone and is with 21 notifications. All with "ITSUKI" I scroll up to see the earlier message.

"Yeah, I wish. Also about Emi Suzuki..." My eyes widened, then a new message from him arrived.

"Got ya" He texted with a pic of my eyes widened and shocked face and a selfie of Miya on the side.

I turned my head at Miya and responded with a glare while she was giggling, then turning into full-blown laughter while her phone was placed onto her right hand.

"Ahahahaha" Another text from Daiki arrived.

"You know guys it's not funny," I said in an annoyed tone.

"But-" She couldn't breathe from the laughter "You-ur face!" She continued laughing.

I was annoyed, although she is beautiful when she laughed that calmed my nerves. I soon started to laugh as she was laughing.

"I thought you moved on Itsuki-san?"
Miya questioned me while smiling.

"I guess I should work harder on that" I answered then chuckled.

"I should put this on my wallpaper so that every morning I would see your face" She continued to laugh.

I sighed. At this point, I just don't care.

Then a group of students went inside the room with the male teacher our soon to be the adviser. There were students from my old school since this school is just near to our middle school.

The teacher waited for the students to sit down. When they all sat down the silence lasted for a minute, then the teacher introduced himself.

"Im Teacher Kumishita Shiro im going to be your adviser for this school year".

Hmm, he seems to be a very nice Teacher.

"I am your Mathematics teacher for this year also" My thoughts were cut off by this.

Teacher Kumishita continued talking to us and discussing math. After a while, it was getting boring.

I can't talk to anyone inside the classroom at the risk of getting caught.

After 40 or 50 Minutes of teachers introducing and discussing lessons, it was finally lunch.

I fixed my things from my desk and putting them onto my bag. Miya-San was waiting for me to stand up, so I have to be quick.

I quickly wear my bag fixing the straps, then suddenly getting up wearing my bag. She joined in we walked towards the halls searching for the cafeteria.

"Hey, Itsuki-Kun" Miya called my name.

"Yes, Miya-San?" I shoot back.

"Who is your dorm partner?" She questioned me.

I looked at her "I don't know yet im just alone there when I first came in"

She looked back at me "Oh.." then turning her head straight.

I copied her looking straight to the hall, the silence between me and Miya lasted to eternity, I was thinking about that last year's rumor.

"Tell me, Miya-san" She glanced back at me. I was anxious to ask but had to do it.

"About last year I've heard some rumors that you liked Hayate" I forcefully asked, then looked back at her kicking in my nervous thoughts.

"What! No!" She broke our eye contact avoiding it.

"You know you can tell me anything" I panicked and then reassured her.

She reacted a minute later after she was silent looking down onto the floor and blushing. She was sweating bullets with her eyes looking down and her hands behind her.

"I... Well" She stuttered from her pressure.

"Hey, guys!" A familiar voice from behind shouted to us cutting Miya-San from saying something.

We turned to our heads onto our shoulders and saw Eiko and Daiki walking to us.

"Hey guys" Miya was relieved.

Eiko is cute with her green eyes and her tied ponytail blonde hair she was the popular girl back in middle school second to Miya.

Daiki is handsome like her sister he also has green eyes with the blonde hair, hell all the girls back in middle school chased after him, but he ignored them all as he wanted to finish school first.

The siblings joined us towards the canteen to get lunch. The two girls began talking about some stuff, then Daiki went to my right side and whispered.

"Hey, Itsuki why is Miya blushing earlier?" Daiki questioned me, I then looked straight.

"I've told her the rumor back in middle school about her and Hayate". I replied without being pressured.

"Oh, Im the one who created that" He grinned, then blinked at me.

"Wait so you're the one who created it? why so?" I asked him back.

He looked at me "Well you see Haya-".

We arrived at the canteen cutting Daiki from saying something.

The canteen was big it could fit a lot of people, there were vending machines near the counter, and with the fluorescent lights giving light to the whole canteen.

"So guys where do we sit?" Eiko questioned us.

I slightly gazed to my right and noticed Hayate eating something, He then noticed me and us looking around for a seat.

"Hey, guys over there!" I was about to shout them that Hayate is there, but I was cut off by him. The shout makes my group look to their right.

We all decided to sit at Hayate's table. When we do we had a heated discussion on who should order the food.

"Ok let us recall what happened on the last day of middle school" Eiko suggested the group cooling down the situation.

All of us were silent, the only noise that was mildly disturbing us is the students on the canteen tables.

"So I know that Miya-san was the last one to order for us back at Middle school" Eiko added sparking the argument once more.

"Hey! that was your brother!" Miya shouted starting the argument.

"Me!? It was you!" Daiki shouted back.

I and Hayate are just blankly staring at this useless argument.

This argument is getting useless.

The argument is escalating towards back at the beginning, I was now being annoyed by this. And then a miracle happened.

"Guys I will do it" Hayate volunteered to stop the senseless and useless argument.

"We will start from me then Itsuki" I nodded a sign of agreement, while Hayate was announcing.

"Then Daiki, Miya-San and to Eiko-chan are we clear?" He questioned the group completely stopping the argument.

"Yes," We all agreed in Unison.

"Ok" Hayate stood up from his seat.

"What do you guys want to order?"He asked.

"Fish and rice" Miya-san ordered then handed over the money to buy.

"Hmm, grilled chicken and rice" I ordered and gave Hayate the money for it.

The siblings are whispering about something after I told Hayate about my order. Hayate glanced at them about to ask what order.

The siblings quit whispering and Daiki spoke "We will have what Itsuki ordered" Daiki gave the money to Hayate.

"No drinks?" Hayate questioned.

"Nope we have our own," We all said in Unison.

Hayate then leaves the table and heads to the counter, the line is not that long so it's going to be a quick order.

"So how're your breaks?" I quickly moved into the siblings interviewing them.

"It's good me and Eiko-chan traveled to your hometown," Daiki said.

I then remembered that I suggested them to visit Itona. "Oh did you visit the park?" I replied.

"Yes, and it was beautiful" Daiki complimented. "Out of all the cherry blossom, I've seen Itona park has the most beautiful" Eiko added. "Your hometown is the best place" Daiki added.

"Yeah, I missed living there.." I replied with a disappointing tone.

Right after I said that Hayate approached us with the foods that we order including his. He was holding the trays right and distributed them nicely he was like a waiter from a fancy restaurant. After Hayate distributed the foods he sat down. We all recited the prayer and started eating.

"Hey, Hayate im impressed of how you hold and distribute the trays" Miya-San made a compliment.

"Well actually" He clapped "I got a job at one of the best restaurants in
Tokyo... Saikō no ryōri (Best Dish)"

"That's great man congrats," Daiki congratulated.

"Congrats Hayate-Kun" Miya added making a cute smile directly at him causing him to slightly turn red.

I stood up from my seat and walked over him leaping my hands onto his both shoulders "Congrats man"

"Congratulations Hayate-Kun," Eiko added.

"Thanks, guys" He replied to our gratitude.

"So when are your shifts?" I was curious and asked him.

"Well since im a student I have Wednesday, Friday and Sunday shift those are after school time" Hayate explained feeding our curiosity.

"Are you ok with that?" Daiki out of curiosity questioned.

"If I will earn money, then yes" Hayate answered simply.

We talked and devour our lunch for the whole period discussing things. We had to go back after the period ended.

The school bell echoed the whole school signaling of dismissal.

Before dismissal, we had to choose what club we wanted and I chose the Music club since I have a guitar back at my dorm.

I and my friends went to the front of the school. They are convincing me to join them to Saikō no ryōri (Best Dish) to celebrate Hayate's job, but I refused and instead sat down onto the school benches near the cherry blossom trees relaxing my mind from school. I looked around turning my head side to the side seeing students also sitting relaxing. I remembered that I have a cornet that I didn't eat at lunch after the bell rang.

I grab my bag and opened it revealing notebooks, a water bottle, pencil case, folders, a choco-cornet, and my cellphone. It caught my eye the Choco-cornet that I bought at the canteen earlier. I raced hand into the bag and grabbed it.

I opened the choco-cornet wrapper and took a bite out of it. It tastes chocolate and bread but overall it was delicious. As I eat my choco-cornet a blossom petal landed onto my nose causing me to stare at my nose. I reached my hand onto my nose, as soon I am getting the petal.

Woohhhhhh!

The wind took it away I chased my eyes the petal turning to my right. The petal landed onto the ground, then I looked up and saw someone familiar.

Is that?... Emi? I asked myself looking at the blue-haired girl. Could she be here? The girl noticed me and smiled while she was wearing casual clothes.

Out of my curiosity, I decided to walk towards her to be sure. When I was getting ready to walk and check if its Emi.

A group of students passes by my sight. Blocking my view of her.

When the group of students passed she faded away. The girl that smiled to me now vanished like thin air. At this point on I was disappointed I don't know if my mind is playing tricks on me.

I rubbed my eyes, Im, probably just tried I should head home. My thoughts went out.

After what happened I decided to go home and call it a day.
