Kai's POV 

I was in my new car which Pixal had just finished building except I don't think it was built for this exact scenario but it was my car so I guess it doesn't matter why or when I use it. I was speeding down the close to empty city roads  driving as fast as I could to get to where Skylor said she was. I swear to god I am going to murder this Kilo guy in the most degrading, painful and gruesome why I possibly  like and then give Skylor the life she so deserves. 

Ten minutes away.

What if he got there sooner.

I accelerated a little more increasing my speed slightly.

Nine minutes.

My heart was racing and I was completely focused on the road everything else worst from Skylor was blocked out my head.

Eight minutes.

I was at full speed breaking the speed limit by 40mph.

Seven minutes.

I need to go faster.

Six minutes.

Skylor needs you Kai.

Five minutes.

She has no one else.

Four minutes.

All most there just keep on driving.

Three minutes.

Uggggghhhhh why can't this dumb car to any faster.

Two minutes.

Come on Kai come on 

One minute.

This is not a mission you can mess up.

Thirty seconds.

My car swerved round a corner and I slowed down rapidly.

Arrived at destination.

She was standing there shaking and crying but the thing and made me most mad was the look in her deep brown eyes. Eyes that had only a slim trade of life left in them. Fear, terror and so much more was crowing this dying ember of life that was left. 

I ran out the car opened her door and said "it's ok he's not here anymore" . She just broke down and roll into my arms. I carried her into my car and drive away heading back home to the monastery. 

I am gonna kill Kilo I swear I will even if it's the last thing I do.
