Lucy's Pov

Master seems to know more about my family than I thought he would. My family is pretty well known with us being nobles and all but it's mostly because my father married my mom. Mom came from nobility, but dad had the money and only married into it. Dad started the business and wanted mom to help with it as well since she knew more people and could get them to partner with him. She didn't want to get involved with the company or any partnerships. My mom went away for 2 weeks to go visit her mom in Fiore at the palace. When she came back home, she was extremely sick. 

She was so weak she couldn't even take care of herself. Dad was worried for her but never helped her move around or take her to the doctor. He had the maids take care of both of us, I never even got to see her. He completely neglected us and didn't even feel bad for doing it, saying that the company is more important and to never bother him. A few days later, mom passed. She made dad promise not to marry me off for money, even though he still tried to. Mom always said that they loved each other very much and would never betray each other. 

" When I first met your mother, I thought it was kind of weird that she had stars for pupils. Anna also had weird pupils as well only she had a crescent pupil. She was looking for someone and needed to leave your mom here with a friend. She can back the next day with someone in a black cloak.  Your mother at the time was 10 years old, for her age you could tell that she had been and seen a lot. Her magic power was bigger than the size of her body, but only a few people could tell. I was only 24 at the time, and a man named Hades was the guild master. I hung around him a lot since my parents were dead, and he was very close with my dad." he explained while pouring himself a glass of what smelled like bourbon.

" He later told me that your grandmother and the person she was traveling with were going to open something called the "Eclipse Gate" and would need to leave your mom her because the journey was way too dangerous. The master was fine as long as they weren't going to do anything that got the capital on the guild. Which at the time it didn't till a few years later after it was already done. The night it happened, 5 bright lights shot through the skies. They never figured out what it was to this day, most people have already forgotten about it besides me and a few others."

 "Your grandmother came back to get your mom and left. She met a few new friends while she was here and promised she'd be back when she was older. She did keep her promise and came back with a blond man in a suit. She wanted him to see where her favorite place was and to meet some of her friends, to ask them to be in her wedding. However, 4 years after the wedding, she came back to get something from a friend. They had a very bad argument that ended with her friend crying and throwing a golden key at her. I think her friend's name was Grammy. She was very sad after the death of your mother. She never told anyone why they fell off before she moved far away."

  I heard this story before, when he mentioned the name "Grammy" I remember my mom explaining what went down. Mom needed all 12 zodiac keys to unlock a very special gate as requested by her mom. Mom was the only one who knows what came through that gate but promised to tell me when I was older.  Since that day I've had so many questions about who was that person with grandma, what came out of the gate, why did opening it make her sick, what other secrets did she keep from me? Hopefully i can figure it out while I'm in Fairy tail. Gramps had a few more questions that were easier to answer than mine were. He hoped that I'd enjoy my time in fairy Tail and promised that if I ever needed something he'd help.

Going back down stairs we were met with a very pretty red haired woman beating up an overly buffed white haired name. He kept shouting "man" while this woman was shouting about ruining her cake. " Who is that woman, Natsu?" I asked quietly. " Oh that's Erza Scarlet, she's a requiped user.  She can be bossy most of the time, but she's a really good mage. Just never mess with her strawberry cake, other than that, you guys should get along just fine." Natsu said while walking with his hands behind his back. My eyes flashed ocean blue and a bunch of stars clouded my vision, huh I wonder? I quickly walked over to the bar and asked Mira to give me two pieces of strawberry cake and a side of Carolina reaper chicken. It took a few minutes for everything to get done cooking but it was way quicker than I thought.

 To add a bit more spicy I added some star flakes made from the core of a star and known to be extremely hot. Not many people can handle them and even if they can, they aren't able to taste anything ever again for their tastebuds would be completely fried. I really hope that Natsu likes it! I placed the plate in front of him and gave him a kiss on the cheek before walking over to where Erza was smashing someone's head into the floor. She didn't seem to notice the cake so I decided to help her a bit. I used my magic to  blind her fora few minutes while I went to the guy who was getting beat up. " Light's healing" was the very first spell that my mom taught me since I always get hurt as a kid. After healing who's name I now know is Elfman, I helped him to a chai before someone grabbed my shoulder. 

Glancing over my shoulder I saw that red head again. Only this time she had her death stare directed towards me. I quickly slide out of her grip and sat back at the table where the cake was. " Who are you, and what made you think you could stop me from inacting justice upon the deviant who destroyed my cake?" she said loudly and catching the rest of the guild's attention. It's like everyone was afraid of her for some reason. " You  shouldn't be hurting your family like that even if you are just playing. Elfman's nose was completely broken and his eye was about to be impailed by a piece of wood from the floor." I explained. " It doesn't matter, he shouldn't have smashed my cake!" erza said angrily. 

" Even if he smashed your cake that doesn't give you a reason to almost have his eye impailed! Instead you could have asked him to simply buy you another slice of cake." I said as I handed her one of the two Mira gave me before pulling it away so she couldn't get to it." I'd gladly give this to you if you apologize to Elfman, promised to hurt people in this guild again."   " Okay, okay, I promise! she said in a trance.  " You still didn't answer my question though, who are you?"    Suddenly there was a sword to my neck while her cake wasin the other. I quickly grabbed her blade and returned it to a sheath. "Next time you want to ask a question you could simply just ask you know. No one is going to answer you if you're going to be rude." I said going to sit on Natsu's lap. He looked like he was in heaven with sauce all over his face. I grabbed a napckin and whipped his face off " My name is Lucy Heartfillia and I'm Natsu's Girlfriend." I said while munching on the other piece of cake I had. Normally I don't eat anything else with strawberries but this was pretty good!
