Chapter 6: "If only you could..."
3rd Person's POV~~
Layden had been disturbed the rest of the day after that incident with the Shiny Ralts and the other Pokemon, who she had found out was a Shiny Zorua, that was native to the Unova region.
She had told Gardevior about her experience, and she said she knew nothing about Pokemon- Besides Pyschic-types-speaking through telepathy. Layden had been locked up in her room with her partner for the day, and the next, when she finally decided to contact Jayden, she always helped Layden through these times.
Having Gardevior try to contact Gallade was the first priority, he had always answered and got Jayden into the telepathy some how, but this time that didn't happen, Gallade was in his Pokeball, unable to release himself from it, oddly enough.
Layden went into a panic attack on the inside, what would she do? Was Jayden actually at the Pokemon League in Kalos? She couldn't be, she would have Gallade outside of his Pokeball. Was she in trouble? No, Gallade wouldn't have picked up the "call" persay. What was she doing?
She froze, and felt her energy being drained quickly, and started falling,"Garde!" Her Pokemon cried, catching her right before she blacked out.
~Layden's Dream~
Layden opened her eyes, and groaned, rubbing her head. First things first, where were her glasses. Looking around, she spotted a blurry mound, them roughly taking the shape of a pair of glasses, and picked them up, fitting them onto her head.
Putting a hand to her pounding head, she winced. How far had she fallen? She blinked a bit and looked around, the hand slowly dropping to her side as she stood up. She was met by a cloaked figure, a black woven hood on their head, shrouding their face from being seen.
The figure was obviously female, wearing a dark black shirt, long sleeves revealing nothing, a belt around her waist, finger-less gloves on her hands, black skinny jeans on her legs, and black combat boots on her feet.
She slowly raised a hand, lighting a lighter she had pulled out of her back pocket, and threw it behind her. A sound like it hit a wall echoed, and red flames burst onto what seemed to be a wall.
A symbol was in flames on the wall, a Mew to the left of odd lines, and a Pokeball missing the red and white coloring underneath it, odd swirls surrounding the Mew.
As Layden attempted to approach the figure, she took a step back, her face still shrouded, despite the intense flames behind her figure. She raised her head finally, and Layden was too far away to even try to see her face.
As she spoke, her voice came out strangled, oddly, strangled, as if she was being forced to speak. She said this,"Don't try. It won't help...?" The ending sounded more like a challenge/question then what the figure actually meant to say.
"Who are you?" Layden called, curiousity building in her eyes about this masked woman.
"That is meant to be found out later on. But you will be learning the hard way."
"I can find a way to change that!" Layden boldly said, getting a rush of emotion, feeling like this was the person who took her sister, no, not feeling, knowing.
"If only you could. If only you could..."
The figure raised a hand, and a black sphere formed in it, aiming at Layden, and swinging her arm, launching it successfully.
Layden covered her face with her arms, until she heard it collide with something else, definitely not her though. She moved her arms, and saw Gardevior, her presence seemed to scare the figure.
Leave my trainer alone! She said, growling, despite her regular, calm nature.
The figure only chuckled a bit,"I knew you would show up. That is why," The flames were vanquished, leaving them with only the seeing of the small flame of the lighter once more,"You must be taken care of. Come to the ruins underneath Castellia City, in the sewers, if you dare to see your dear sister once more."
