Chapter 4: Short Visits

3rd Person's POV~~

Jayden blinked in confusion,"But," She glanced at the sky where Braviary had disappeared, and looked back at Green, and sighed,"Nevermind it. Listen, I need to go, bye." She pushed past him, heading back to Pallet Town.

Green had watched after her, but said nothing. He was confused. Why didn't she know that was from Alder? I mean, it had the official crest of the Unova Pokemon League and all. He shook his head, looking at the night sky.

Jayden made her way to the room she and Layden shared, sitting on her bed silently. Layden was a heavy sleeper, she wasn't concerned about waking her up. The two girls had been here for roughly a week, give or take a day or two, and already Jayden was getting letters.

She opened it quietly, reading through the letter silently. Her jaw slowly clenched and as she read through it fully, it hurt her jaw so much she resorted to crumpling the paper. She frowned. Already! Already, they needed her frickin help! And with such a simple task! She groaned internally, standing up and grabbing a pen and paper.

She left the note on her bed where Layden would see it, and grabbed her small messenger bag, looking back at her sleeping twin before walking out the door.

She instantly felt the pain in her heart that came with doing this occasionally, and that letter wasn't from the Pokemon League, it was a decoy envelope. She made her way to the docks, and let out a small whistle, careful to not wake anyone in the rather small town.

"Pras?" A sing-song voice called out quietly, showing up.

Jayden smiled a bit,"Hey Lapras, business as usual." She hopped down onto Lapras, landing on the Transport Pokemom's shell, and sitting quietly,"Take me to Unova, please?"

"Pras, pras." Lapras started on her way, cutting through the water like a knife, and going across the ocean.

Jayden leaned against the Pokemon's sturdy neck, staring at the night sky. She looked at the moon, and felt a pang of guilt in her heart. What could she do about it though? Nothing. Nothing could take away the pain she felt for doing this behind everyone's back, Gallade and Lapras are the only ones who remotely knew what she did.

She groaned, and closed her eyes, deciding to sleep on the way there. Lapras was moving at a rather normal pace, not to many waves crashing into her, not to little, it was rather soothing to the stressed out blonde.

She slowly fell asleep, being rocked to sleep on Lapras' back.

Dream~~

Jayden opened her eyes, scanning the desolate land. She noticed a shining pair of eyes, and dipped her head to them,"I'm on my way, sir."

Good, soon, my young one, we will have all the resources we need to go after the one thing we've been trying to. Soon, my dear, we will attack the heavens.
