The Choices We Make
WARNING: Conversations of Voyeurism and Switching (If these make you uncomfortable, scroll down to Part II).
Part I
The group of five disperses out into the evening suns of the Tatooine desert. As they load up on supplies, weapons and materials, Din joins Boba in the cockpit of the Slave I and their conversation begins with discussing the flight trajectory. They both study the holographic map on ship's dash as the ship takes off. Once the ship is in the air, the two men remain quiet, but it's not a comfortable silence. An unspoken uneasiness hangs in the air, that is, until Fett speaks first.
"Nia is a remarkable woman," Boba says as his head remains focused on steering the ship.
"She is," Din acknowledges in a soft voice, not looking at his friend.
"I did not expect to like her as much as I do," Boba admits. "She's beautiful and feisty."
Din hummed in response. There's a brief pause before Boba speaks again.
"Has she seen your face?"
"She has."
"Then she must be very important to you."
"She is."
Vod (brother), I need you to answer me truthfully....does this bother you?" Boba asked bluntly.
"She is not property, Fett. She's free to make up her own mind, as long as you respect her."
Din wonders what Nia truly felt about all this, since they never truly discussed where they stand. Even though he wasn't anticipating their relationship to be very serious this soon, yet he still feels they have a strong connection. Fett has become one of his closest ally and confidant, so Din could not help himself from his intensely lewd desires. Luckily, it seems Fett was reading his mind.
"Then would it be alright with you if we...shared her?" Boba boldly asked.
"I'm not against it, but she has the final say in the end."
"Do you think she would agree?" Boba says as he continues focusing his attention on driving the ship.
"You would have to ask her."
"Do you think you could...talk to her?"
"I can't promise anything," Din says as he stands up and heads towards the ladder.
NIA'S POV
However, Nia is feeling a bit overwhelmed with what had just occurred between her and Boba. So she stays down in the passenger bay, which has a wide viewport that shows the full span of the desert. She sits down by herself and leans against the hull, feeling the hum of the ship take off, allowing the vibrations of the engines ground her.
It's true, she does seem to gravitate towards strong and powerful men, it's the Mandalorian in her. It was how she was taught. Boba is the ruler of Tatooine, and Din is the king of Mandalore. Yes, what Boba does is mostly illegal pursuits, a portion of her is uncomfortable by that reality, but it still doesn't change the fact that she feels the thrill of being with two dominant and highly influential men.
Boba has killed Jedi, it's a fact that everyone knows. Yet the Jedi were not as innocent or peaceful as they portrayed themselves to be, and were the result of their own downfall. After the purge, she was left to fend for herself at only ten years old, never knowing her real parents or where she was born. It's a reality that she has to live with every single day of her life. A part of her wishes she was never recruited by the Jedi, yet she would never be able to live a life without sensing the Force.
The Mandalorians may be rough, but they treated her like family up until she voluntarily left them. Although she disliked Boba tremendously when they initially met, yet it's clear that Din trusts him. Din is a killer just like Boba is. Yet it still feels wrong and she is ashamed of herself. Regardless of her embarrassing impulses, she feels that she belongs to Din first and foremost.
Then she hears the clanking of metal above her. Stepping down the ladder, she sees the soles of Din's boots as he descend from the steps. His armor crashes with the impact of his landing. She turns her attention towards him, but he approached her rather fast. He closes the gap between her and the empty seat next to her in two large strides. As he settles into the seat beside her, she feels an unsettling nervousness deep in her core. She feels one of his large gloved hands rests on her knee, calming her nerves despite the uneasy circumstances.

"I need to ask you something," Din says, getting straight to the point.
"Are you upset?" Nia anxiously asks.
"No," he says and paused for a moment before continuing. "I just need to know...are you my girl?" He whispered, it was a courageous statement, something she didn't expect from him at this point in time. "Do you...care about me?"
"Yes I am and of course I care about you. Why do you ask?"
"Because Fett likes you. How do you feel about him?"
Blood suddenly rushed to her face, and her cheeks turned red with awkwardness with what he was asking her so openly. She looked over at Cobb and Bossk, making sure they hadn't heard the question.
"I...I'm not sure," she whispered back, but her voice flickered with adrenaline that is currently being pumped throughout her body. Yet she wasn't quite sure where he was going with this.
"I think you do. Your heart rate just spiked. Do you want him?"
"Why are you asking me this?" Her voice now trembling with nervousness.
There was so much going on inside her head. She was becoming incredibly overstimulated at the thought of having both of these men at once.
"I may be willing to share," he says as he glides his hand up to squeeze her thigh, as his voice went very dark on his words. This was not where she thought he was going to say. He wasn't upset after all. He was actually intrigued.
"Are you serious?" She responded sharply, not quite sure of what to say. She should say no. That would be the smart thing to do.
"I am, as long as I can watch."
"Oh maker...I-I thought you'd be jealous," she says, sounding very shocked.
"I'm not. I just needed to know how you felt about me. Fett is one of my closest friends after all, but it's your decision."
"We are heading into battle and the two of you are thinking of sex. Unbelievable," she whispered.
"I didn't hear a no..." he says seductively, and she could hear the naughty grin in his voice.
"You're utterly depraved," she says as she rolled her eyes.
"But you like it, don't you?" He says slyly with a soft snicker. His hands tighten on her thigh, his fingertips pressing into the fabric of her pants and she feels a thrill running through her body. She rolled her eyes in response, but she sincerely didn't know what to say. She's caught between her primal urges and her affection for Din.
—————
Suddenly, the ship jerked slightly as they feel the ship's landing gear being deployed. As the group exit the ship, no one bothers to set up camp. Fett brings the ship down near an open area between two cliffs and turns off the lights, trying to remain as stealthy as possible. As soon as they land, Din and Cobb arm themselves with anything they could carry before they head out into the mountainous terrain.
Bossk and Nia stay on the ship as Fett follows Cobb and Din for a few yards, discussing their plan in case they run into trouble. After a quick communications check, Fett decided to approach Din while Cobb walks ahead of them.
"Hey, have you spoken to her?" Boba whispered.
"I did," Din replied.
"And?"
"You have to ask her, but let's get something straight..." Din begins to says as he grabs Fett by his arm, causing him to stop in his tracks. "Nia is my girl and she's very special to me, so you will treat her as such. If she says no, then you must stop. Don't do anything without my consent. Do you understand?"
"Of course, boss," Fett says as Din and Cobb to disappear into the dunes and rocky ridges.
NIA'S POV
Nia was busy onboard the ship, she puts on a pair of thin breathable gloves to protect her from accidental Force echos during battle, then makes sure she has enough ammo and then double-checks her comlink on her vambrace. As she stood in front of the open door of the armory, observing the numerous weapons, she feels Fett walk up behind her. Apart from his heavy breathing, he remains absolutely still and silent. Her heart was pounding in her head with excitement. He stood quietly behind her for several minutes before finally speaking.
"Relax, Nia," his dark unmodulated voice made her quiver, finally calling her by her real name. She realized that he doesn't have his helmet on. This was naughty and she knew it was deviant of her to want this.
"All you have to do is say no, and I promise to leave you alone," his voice vibrated up her spine, sending waves of hot and cold flashes throughout her body. He is a beast of a man and his power is alluring, there's no denying that. "Look at me, pretty girl."
She turns around and she sees his eyes are wide with hunger. He glared down her body as if undressing her slowly. Her chest was heaving as she leaned back against the wall of the ship, his words repeating in her mind. Boba takes a few steps closer as his breath hits her face, now he's only inches away from her now.
"Is it okay if I call you princess?" He whispers.
"Yes, and I appreciate you asking," she says softly.
He leans down and moves slowly towards the left side of her face, then he pauses there for a few long moments. She can feel his warm breath on her neck, which gave her goosebumps as she lets out a quiet moan. Then he whispers darkly in her ear, "I can show you how nice I can be."
"I..." she breathed out but she didn't have time to finish her sentence, because Bossk comes running up the ramp of the ship with his rifle in his hands.
Part II
"Ssss'sir....we got sss'company," the Trandoshan hissed as he steps up onto the ship's ramp.
"What?!" Nia cries out as Boba instantly takes a few giant steps back.
"Troopersss....at leassst five ssss...coming thisss way..."
Boba, Bossk and Nia gather their things and run out of the ship. Once Boba locks up the doors, the three of them sneak out towards the direction of the troopers. They continue their investigation for a few meters as Fett radios Din.
"Vod, status update."
"Only see one entrance in the rock. It's hidden behind sand, but it's easy to follow the tracks," Din's voice is heard through the comlink.
"We've got troopers coming our way."
"Try not to be seen. Don't give away our position."
"We'll do our best," Boba says before disconnecting the line.
For the next several yards, the three of them sneak between rocks and sand dunes, they begin to hear faint modulated talking, laughing, and staggering footsteps on the desert floor.
"Get back," Boba whispered loudly as he grabs Nia's arm, then shoves her and Bossk behind a large boulder. "They are coming this way," Boba says as he readies his rifle and Bossk does the same, but Nia placed her hand on top of Boba's rifle to stop him.
"They are acting rather - strange," Nia noticed as she peaks around the corner.
"They're drunk, probably," Boba says flatly. "Today is Harvest Day."
"Why would these Imperial troopers celebrate a Tatooine holiday?" Nia whispered as she frowned.
"Beats me, but at least they'll be a lot easier to deal with now," Boba says as he readies himself.
"Hold on a moment," Nia says as she peaked around the rock, with her eyes closed she waves her hand as the troopers become even more confused and stumbling over themselves.
She moves back behind the cover of the boulder, unsheathes her vibroknife and whispers, "You boys ready? We need to do this quickly and quietly."
Keeping low to the ground, Nia was the first to dash out towards a drunk and delirious trooper, wobbling a few feet away from his comrades. She approaches from behind, grabs his head and swiftly inserts her knife into the trooper's neck.
Following directly behind Nia, Fett silently sneaks behind another drunk and confused trooper, wraps his arm around the man's head in a sleeper chock hold. As the man falls unconscious on the floor, Bossk does the same thing and takes out his small saber to dig it into another trooper's neck before he realized what was happening. Finally, Nia uses the Force to chock the two remaining troopers.
"We need to catch up with the others," Boba says as they head towards Din's last known location. Forgoing the noisy jet pack, Fett and the others climb up a moderately high cliff to meet up with Din and Cobb.
"You guys made it," Cobb says softly. "I'm guessing those guys didn't give you all any trouble."
"They were drunk. Easy to kill," Boba shortly.
"We see only one black-clad trooper guarding the entrance," Din says as he uses his helmet's sensors to gain a better view. However, he looks to his right and notices Nia is clenching her chest and squinting her eyes.
"Nia, what's the matter?" Din asked with concern in his voice as Boba and the rest of the group all turn their attention to her.
"I can....feel him..." Nia groaned in pain. "Ah...it's...no longer....human..."
To be continued....
