Tatooine's Emperor

Moments after they left the scraper's stall, the marketplace was already buzzing with news of two men in Mandalorian armor, and a blonde-haired woman, freeing two slaves before running off towards a landspeeder at the edge of town.
Fett's speeder is definitely not an average vehicle for a planet like Tatooine. It's a luxury landspeeder, with the capacity to transport eight passengers and a pilot, plus it's equipped with two blaster cannons in the front.
"Oh don't tell me! You bought this with all that protection money you got from the locals, didn't you?" Nia blurted out at the sight of a brand new luxury speeder.
"I'm just a man trying to make a living out here, sweetheart," Boba says in a sly tone as they approach the vehicle.
"My name is Nia!" She yelled at Boba, who was a few feet in front of her. Realizing she had just shouted out her real name in public, she felt more irritated and a bit anxious. "Not sweetheart!"
"I like this one, boss. She has spirit," Boba continues to say as he climbs into the pilot's seat.
"Over there! There they are!" A sudden modulated voice of an Imperial stormtrooper is heard, rapidly approaching their location on foot with about a dozen others in the typical white armor. A gun fight breaks out as Din swiftly unsheathed his pistol and begins firing back.
"Looks like we got company boys!" Nia shouted as she helped the mother and the child onto the speeder. "What's your name, ma'am?"
"Kirana. I don't know why they're doing this!"
"No time to explain. Now get in!"
"You two stay down!" Nia yells as she climbs into the second row next to Din. "Let's get the hell out of here, Fett!"
"Everyone hang on tight!" Boba says as he takes off, and the stormtroopers immediately engage in a high speed chase on speederbikes. As the troopers rapidly approach their location from behind, Din starts shooting at their bikes to knock them off.
"Don't hurt the child!" They hear one trooper cry out.
Roughly twelve stormtroopers begin closing in all around them. Four troopers kept repeatedly crashing into their landspeeder, screeching metal flaring up as chaotically as their riders. Eight other troopers directly at the rear, blaster fire erupts all around them. While steering the landspeeder, Fett raised his blaster and fired point blank at the trooper on his right, then the one on his left.
Then Nia stood up on the speeder, her clothes and hair flying all over as the wind howled around her. But she was not afraid. The Force kept her strong, where the speed might have knocked the average person off. She could use the Force, but as of right now, the Empire doesn't know she exists. So she decided to do something else.
"Nia get down!" Din yells as he fires four perfect head shots at the troopers behind them.
Nia engages her plasma shield in her right wrist vambrace, and with her other vambrace she launches paralyzing darts at the two troopers on either side of them. The riders collapse as their speeders explode on impact with the ground.
Then the speeder gave quick jerk as Fett increased the speed to try to lose their pursuers. The last four troopers catches up with them and began crashing into their speeder once again.
"Take the wheel!" Fett shouted at Nia.
"What the hell are you going to do?!" Nia yelled back, there's a brief struggle between the two of them as they switch positions.
"Prepare to be impressed, sweetheart," Boba says as he sits up taller on his knees in the passenger seat next to Nia. Then he launches miniature rockets out of his wrists, killing the remaining troopers.
Boba sits back down next to Nia as she piloted the speeder, "This isn't what I had in mind as our reunion, boss."
"Just like old times," Din replied.
"Alright, move over little one," Boba addressing Nia in his typical sly expression.
"Nia!" She shouted as they once again switch places.

"Here we are," Boba called from the front of the speeder. "Home sweet home."
Nia squinted through the sun and saw a large cylindrical building, protected by several ridges and blaster cannons. They climbed out of the speeder and started making their way back up the dunes, all the way up to the heavy front doors as a security droid came out to scan them.
Inside was remarkably colder than the temperature outside. Their shoes echoed in the dark entryway of the stoned palace. As much as the servants cleaned, there was still sand all over the floor, and it crunched underneath their boots as they make their way through the dimly lit, winding halls of the massive stronghold.
The palace was ancient, built by the B'omarr Order many hundreds of years ago. It had changed ownership several times since it's construction. Crime bosses tend to favor using their massive monasteries as their base of operations, due to the fact that the Order usually build their castles with complex designs and numerous traps.
Every choice in the fortress's plan was intentional to ensure that it remained chilly under the hot twin suns and warm throughout the bitterly cold desert nights. The entire base rested above a large subterranean water supply, the Order discovered it when they built the palace.
The group made their way past many rooms through the long dim hallways of Fett's palace. Some of the suites were packed with Gamorreans wrestling, other rooms were used as spice dens, a few others were used by his many assassins and followers playing card games, and some were utilized as storage units.
"Here, the two of them can stay in this room for now," Boba says as he lead them to an unused bedroom. The bedroom was small with two full-sized beds, as well as a refresher and no windows.
"By the way, this is Kirana and Nora," Nia says calmly, trying to reduce her frustration with this man. He is offering them a place to stay at his place for free, after all. "We appreciate your hospitality."
"I'm not doing this for you, princess," Boba replied.
"Nia!" She yells loudly as she enters the bedroom with the mother and child, then shuts the door behind them.

DIN'S POV
"Such a fiery woman," Boba says with a light chuckle. "I can't figure out if I like her or I want to shoot her."
"Yeah she does that," Din agreed emotionlessly.
"Where in the galaxy did you find her?" Boba asked as he leads Din a few doors down the hallway.
"I crashed on Felucia. She was my healer," Din answered as Boba approaches another room.
"A healer you say? Well that's interesting," Boba says as he opens the door. It's another spare bedroom with a bed big enough for two people and a refresher. "This is for you and, well I'm not entirely sure where you two stand."
"She asked for my help," Din replied stoically. Yes they were intimate, numerous times in fact, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are anything more than partners on a mission. No agreement was made between them. At least not yet.
"Don't play me for a fool, Djarin. If you don't claim her, someone else will."
"And what's that supposed to mean?" Din asked, more forcefully this time.
"Come on, boss. A pretty girl like that. Do you really think others aren't going to notice?"
Din crossed his arms but didn't respond. His friend was insinuating something that he wasn't comfortable with.
"Alright, well, I would like to see both of you in the throne room in five minutes. There's something we need to discuss," Boba says before walking away.
NIA'S POV
The moment she shut the door, Nia removed her backpack. Kirana and Nora looked visibly shaken after the recent events.
"Don't worry. You'll be safe here," Nia reassured them.
"How do you know for sure?" Kirana asked as she holds her daughter in her lap.
"I trust the Mandalorian, the one in the shiny beskar I mean. If he believes we can trust Fett then we can as well. Are you hungry?" Nia asked. The two nod their heads. Nia doesn't have enough food for the two of them. She will have to ask Fett, which is a task she's not looking forward to.
"Don't worry. We'll get you something to eat. In the meantime, who is the child's father?"
"An Imperial Lieutenant," the mother answered.
"What? How did you end up as a slave?"
"We were on Morak. An Imperial officer came by, threatening to wipe out the entire village. I...I did what I...what I thought I had to. A few months later, their factory blew up. That's when the pirates showed up and sold us into slavery. Nora doesn't know life beyond involuntary servitude."
"I'm sorry to hear that, but you're safe now. I can produce new chain codes for yourself and Nora. However, if your daughter wishes, she can train to be a Jedi. I wasn't given a chance to make that choice. It'll be her decision in the end."
"Is that what you are?"
"Not necessarily. I never completed my education. So I can't officially say I'm a Jedi. However, the Mandalorian may know how to contact a Jedi who's currently accepting new students. I can ask for you," Nia says, but Kirana didn't get a chance to respond. A gentle knock on the door interrupted their conversation.
When Nia opens the door, Din stood there as still as a statue and says, "Fett would like to speak to us in the throne room."
"Ok, how can I get food and water for them?"
"We'll ask him," he says as he begins walking down the hall. "You coming?"
"Yes," she replied as she picks up her backpack and follows him down the long dark hallway.

They walk by one of the Gamorreans as it snorted in a threatening manner. As they step down into the throne room, Boba Fett was already sitting on his royal chair with Fennec Shand by his side. The famous assassin had pledged her life to him after Fett saved her from certain death in the desert.
"I hope you all have made yourselves at home," Boba says as he stood up from his seat, then steps down from the raised platform and walks over towards Din and Nia.
"They could use some food and water," Nia says.
"Of course," Boba says as he nods to one of his associates, a Zebrak woman who then stands up and heads up the main staircase.
There were no dancers, singers, or half-dressed sex slaves in the room, but the decor was the same as it was when Jabba was in charge. The cage that once contained the rancor had been emptied, but they did not know what Boba uses it for now. Until a voice is heard calling out from beneath their feet.
"Hellooo? Who's up there? Let me out!" A male voice is heard crying for help.
"Is that Cobb Vanth?" Din asked Boba.
"Mando? Is that you up there?" Vanth shouted.
"So I guess you two have met?" Boba sniggered.
"Really, Boba?" Nia grumbled.
"He owes me money," Boba answered seriously.
"Let him out, Fett," Din demanded.
"Alright boss, I'll do it for you," Boba says as he punched a few buttons on his vambrace. Then they all hear a large heavy gate open then close back up.
"How long has he been down there?" Din glared at Boba.
"Couple weeks," Boba shrugged.
"You're a brute," Nia snarled at Boba.
"And you think the Jedi were innocent?" Boba responded.
"Not at all, but they never kept prisoners captive just for not paying their debts."
"Look sweetheart, don't tell me how to run my business," Boba snapped back.
"Of you weren't such a bastard, then perhaps I wouldn't need to. And for the hundredth time, my name is Nia!"
"Oh, looks like we got a fighter," Fennec chuckles as she sips on a glass filled with a blue alcoholic beverage.
"Alright that's enough! So what is it you need to tell us?" Din interrupted them.
"The marshal had reached out to me seeking help with a local Imperial problem. I offered to help as long as he pays his dues. However, now that the Manda'lore is back, along with the recent news about Gideon's escape has changed everything," Boba explained. However, the second Cobb Vanth stepped into the throne room, he began taunting Boba Fett.
"Fett! I asked for your help and you lock me up!" Cobb shouted. "My town has been threatened for weeks! They arrive every day asking to see our children but all you care about is money!"
"Well, what do you expect from him, marshal?" Nia replied with a snicker.
"I thought he had some sense in him, but I guess not!" Cobb sneered at Boba.
"I will not be disrespected in front of my crew," Boba gritted at Nia and Cobb.
"Is there anything I can do to help?" Din interjected.
"I'm in too," Nia adds.
"Well, the base is located a few hours away from here. It appears vacant on some days, but other times a few Imperial ships are spotted landing nearby. No one knows what's going on inside there. Might just be a Military Operation," Cobb says.
"Those stormtroopers were after the child, probably for some experiment," Nia explains.
"What child?" Cobb asked.
"She's Force-sensitive. Her and her mother are here in the palace," Nia answered.
"How did you get that information?" Cobb asked.
Nia didn't say anything as she pulls back her poncho to reveal her two lightsabers.
"A Jedi. I see. We have two Mandalorians, a Jedi, and myself. That's not enough," Cobb says.
"Technically I'm not a Jedi," Nia says.
"We also have Bossk," Boba adds as he uses his vambrace to communicate with his associate. "Bossk, come in here."
"What about her?" Nia asked.
"Fennec stays here to hold down the fort in my absence."
Soon, a tall Trandoshan man enters the throne room, armed with blaster rifle and a grenade launcher, this ex-bounty hunter is intimidating and powerful.
"Now, let's come up with a plan to go in quiet," Din suggested.
