Meet Price (The Actual Captain)
Johnathan "John" Price
Age: 39
Nationality: British
Occupation: Captain in Task Force 141
Personality: Stoic, seasoned, and strategic.
John Price is a natural leader with a sense of duty.
While he projects a gruff and intimidating exterior, beneath it lies a deeply compassionate man who protects his team and those he holds dear.
His dry sense of humor adds levity to some good and darkest moments. Though he carries a strong moral compass, he's not afraid to make hard decisions, especially in the face of global threats.
(I've left a link on the comment to listen to his playlist, if you want.)

Background
Price's military career began when he joined the British Army at just 16 years old, seeking to escape his troubled upbringing.
His tactical mind and leadership skills got him through the ranks, eventually landing him in the elite Special Air Service (SAS). His extensive experiences made him a natural fit for him to have his own Task Force, where he earned a reputation as a captain.
Although, he had been through torture and survived many things as a result of having scars for proof.
He does have several tattoos, mainly on his right arm (SAS emblem) with an (oak tree motif) to symbolize his military service and resilience.
His chest with a Latin phrase (Fortes Fortuna Adiuvat - Fortune favors the brave), and his abdomen of a (skull with crossed rifles) that represents his acceptance of danger in combat.
Despite his professional side, Price's personal life has often taken a back seat to his career.
Haunted by the weight of his responsibilities and the losses he's endured, he struggles to reconcile his role as a soldier with his desire for a more peaceful existence.

Teammates in Task Force 141
Price's teammates are more than colleagues; they're family.
Kyle "Gaz" Garrick: Price sees Gaz as a younger version of himself—sharp, dependable, and full of potential. He mentors Gaz and admire his resourcefulness and courage.
Simon "Ghost" Riley: Price respects Ghost's lethal precision and unwavering focus. Though Ghost keeps to himself, Price makes an effort to ensure he knows he's valued and trusted, recognizing the pain Ghost carries beneath the mask.
Johnny "Soap" MacTavish: Price shares a brotherly bond with Soap, often sparring with him through playful banter. Despite Soap's lightheartedness, Price relies on him for his unwavering dedication and bravery.

Other relationships
Kate Laswell: Price and Laswell share a mutual respect forged through years of collaboration. While Price handles the boots-on-the-ground operations, Laswell is the strategist, ensuring his team has the resources and intelligence needed to succeed.
Their professional partnership is laced with candid conversations and disagreements, but they trust each other implicitly (regardless). Kate's pragmatic approach balances Price's sometimes impulsive decisions, and she values his honesty and no-nonsense attitude.
Elizabeth "Diane" Nutt: Diane serves as Price's spiritual mentor and a maternal figure he didn't know he needed. Her faith and nurturing nature provide him with comfort during his good and bad times.
She reminds him of the humanity he wanted to protect, offering wisdom and encouragement when he doubts himself. Their relationship is one of mutual respect, with Diane seeing the man behind the soldier, and Price appreciating her unwavering support and guidance.
Charlotte "Charlie" Daniels: Price initially keeps Charlie at arm's length, wary of exposing the vulnerabilities that come with letting someone into his life. But, somehow, he's drawn to her intelligence and compassionate nature.
Her ability to challenge him without judgment breaks through his carefully maintained walls.
And as their bond deepens, Price finds himself embracing a side of life he's long ignored, discovering there's room for more than love and connection.
——
Hobbies
In his downtime, Price enjoys fishing and hunting.
He may not be an avid reader nor collect books, but he does own military memoirs and history to reflect and learn new tactics.
Occasionally, he does woodworking, crafting small items as gifts or personal keepsakes.

——
His relationship with Charlie
John and Charlie share a deep, if not more, a connection that would built on trust & exploration, rooted in dominance and submission.
As a natural leader, Price embodies dominance, offering Charlie stability and protection (and possibly love).
Charlie's submissive nature is not a sign of weakness but rather a reflection of her trust in John, allowing her to feel safe and supported in their bond.
Their dynamic balances their contrasting personalities: John provides protection and stability, while Charlie brings warmth and emotional depth to his otherwise stoic demeanor.
