Florian sat silently in the passenger seat of the black carriage next to his wife. Every once in a while, her sad eyes would find themselves glued to his profile, trying to understand the person she thought she knew.
"Florian."
A deep sigh left Florian's lips as he turned slowly towards Eonjin. He reached his hand out to grasp hers only to be slapped away. It stung, being rejected from even the simplest of touches. But he sucked it up and gently placed his hand back on his lap.
"Yes, Eonjin?"
Her angry eyes raged at him. Florian noticed that her lower lip was trembling with pent up emotion. When he first told her about joining Mr. Park, she did not believe him. It took lots of him being screamed at and gentle persuasion to get her to come along. Although he could not share any details in his mind with her, he hoped that the trust between them was enough for her to go along with him.
But it was not. He had to threaten Taehyung in order to get her to go.
"I do not want to be...married to you any longer."
Eonjin set her jaw, fiery eyes from the Kim bloodline giving her an almost entitled look. It was this same sharp tongue and daunting pair of eyes that Florian had fallen in love with. Now, they only seemed to scrutinize him in disapproval.
Florian managed an understanding nod. He tried to maintain eye contact with Eonjin but found he could not. Instead, he focused his attention outside the carriage, on the fields that slowly passed by outside. Like the tossing sensation of regret in his stomach, the neat fields outside slowly turned into wasteland.
The crypt was coming up.
Their first meeting with Mr. Park was just on the horizon. Florian had told his wife to maintain her composure and keep quiet. He would do the talking, the handling...
"I'm also going to drop the title of Laurel Princess. Someone else can rule this fucking kingdom."
Florian's stomach dropped. He understood her not standing by his side any longer, but giving up her spot to rule? It was blasphemous. No normal person would give up such a position and yet-
"What are you talking about? You've done a wonderful job so far as ruler, Eonjin. You need to rethink this."
Eonjin glared at him while unconsciously playing with the ends of her hair. A few bumps along the path caused her to hold tightly onto the seat. Florian did the same, and their fingers gently bumped against each other.
"S-sorry."
The blonde girl apologized before looking away. She couldn't help but notice the lingering feelings they still had for each other, no matter how much shit that had transpired between them.
"It's okay..." Florian scooted his hand closer to his leg, careful to give her enough space. "We're almost there, anyway."
He looked up at her, wanting to reiterate their agreement on what was to happen when they got there. Eonjin met his intense stare and beat him to it.
"No, I won't say anything about Jimin. I won't tell him about our relationship, won't tell him about Jungkook or Taehyung. If I need to answer I'm to either avoid it or say something I know you would approve of..."
She rolled her eyes. Florian gave a small smile. No matter how irritated Eonjin was, she had always been a good listener.
Finally, they arrived at the path leading to the crypt. Florian had ordered his soldiers to remain by the cart and not to follow him, no matter how long they were gone. After a few hours the cart would depart if they didn't return. Eonjin hated the plan with every ounce of her being, but what choice did she have? If she didn't follow through with it, Mr. Park would likely kill her.
But they were betraying the kingdom...betraying her brother, the Oak Prince, the kids-
"Come on, Eonjin."
Florian had already exited the carriage and was holding his hand out for Eonjin to take. She hesitated before lightly grasping it, anxiety weaving its way into her heart.
What if the meeting went haywire and Mr. Park decided to kill them both? What if they never returned? Would anyone go looking for them? They had basically abdicated the crown with how long they had been on break.
No matter what happened, she was glad she at least had someone by her side. Despite it being the man whom she hated at the moment, his presence still brought her some kind of comfort. As they wandered down the burnt remains of a once luscious field, he squeezed her hand every so often to encourage her.
For that, she was at least grateful.
When they got to the tree stump that signified the entrance of the crypt, Eonjin was shaking. Florian felt her hand go sweaty in his own before he revealed the opening to a tunnel.
"It's okay, Eonjin. You have to trust me on this. Whatever happens, just know that I still love you-"
Eonjin cringed.
"Please, Florian. Don't make this harder for me. Let's go."
The young brunette nodded at the old Laurel Princess' words. He tried to give off an air of confidence as he pulled her towards the place he vowed never to return to. In reality, fear plagued his mind and he struggled to find the motivation he had when he initially agreed to the plan.
They were there because of Jimin.
Jimin.
Hand in hand, the two former sovereigns descended straight into the depths of a demon dwelling.
To make things right again.
* * *
"That was hilarious!"
Jimin snorted as Taehyung reenacted the scene that had just taken place in the foyer. Jungkook had reamed Rose out for her foul language by sending her into time out. Little did the ravenette realize, Lucio was using his power nearby and overheard the plan. Lucio's tactic of remaining hidden and releasing Rose from her captivity ended up getting both of the kids in trouble. As a plus, Jungkook became irritated that he was being disobeyed.
"A-and then when the servant came in! 'Sir, it would seem that Rose and Lucio are playing in the servants' quarters without supervision.' Jungkook got so pissed!"
Taehyung chuckled as the pair walked up to the main bedroom together. They had been eating supper in the main hall when the Oak Prince had been notified of Rose's escape from time out. Jungkook ran off, face flushed with disbelief that a child had thwarted his parenting lesson.
"I swear to God, Kook tries to control everything and when he doesn't he can't take it..." Taehyung mused, shaking his head. He knew his husband well enough to know that when things didn't bend in favor of the Oak Prince, it messed with the younger's head. "I can't even imagine what we're doing to him."
Jimin gave the blonde a quizzical look. A faint blush touched his cheeks. "Um...what's that supposed to mean?"
Taehyung realized what he had said and burst into an even larger fit of laughter. "Oh! I meant, ahahahah, the fact that we're both demons and he...well, isn't a demon. I didn't mean to say..."
He trailed off as they made their way up the flight of stairs leading to the second floor. Taehyung realized that things that used to make him out of breath came easy to him now. His strength, stamina, and willpower had all seemed to increase with the breath of Satan in his blood.
And he liked it.
"I mean, I'm not...uh, complaining about what you said..."
The blonde's expression darkened as he took note of Jimin's rising heartbeat. The other demon was becoming extremely flustered over one statement. Taehyung paused at the top of the stairs, looking at the white-haired male with amusement.
"Hey...when's the last time you got any action?"
Jimin's face immediately heated into an infero of embarrassment. "Tae! How c-can you be so blunt about things..."
The half-blood turned his face away and picked up his pace towards the room. Taehyung smirked evilly. Being a demon seemed to suit him much more than anyone else. He always was one for dramatics, and now that he could hear better and had such grand powers, he felt like a new person.
"You're avoiding the question."
Jimin faced Taehyung for a brief second only to push him backwards. To a mortal, the force might have caused a body to fly a few meters back in the air. But Taehyung simply stepped back a few paces, absorbing much of the impact with his own strength.
"Gosh, how I hate you as a demon." Jimin shook his head at the cocky grin plastered on the blonde's face. "Remind me, why did I bring you back in the first place?"
Jimin turned to resume his walk, not expecting an answer from the other. Taehyung surprised him, giggling as he hopped on the Jimin's back, wrapping his arms around the elder's neck.
"Beeeecausseeee." He covered Jimin's eyes while on his back, teasing the other. Jimin groaned in half-annoyance as he bumped into the wall, sending Taehyung into another laughing fit.
"Because what?" Jimin threw the younger off of him, and not so gently. "Because you're an annoying little shit?"
Taehyung hopped off of the floor quickly, landing in front of the half-blood. He gave a large, boxy smile that was nothing but mischievous.
"Because you love me."
The blonde grasped the sides of Jimin's face, pulling him close. Jimin forgot how attractive confidence looked on Taehyung. Years of hearing loss and sadness made that look disappear from his face for a bit, but now...the newly turned demon was glowing. Jimin understood how Jungkook must have felt when he entered the ravenette's room at night.
Demons were just another breed.
On Taehyung it was like a boost for his already larger than life personality. The presence of such strong power flowering underneath his beautiful tan skin made the male instantly reassured in his own body. It was strange, almost as if reviving Taehyung as a demon had revived the Laurel Prince.
But Jimin wasn't complaining. Hell only knows how much he had changed over the years between his reign as Stone Prince and now.
"Yeah...I guess I do love you."
Jimin said breathlessly as Taehyung brought their mouths closer. The glimmer in the blonde's eyes drew the half-blood in, captivated him...prompted him to close the gap between them.
Taehyung smiled as Jimin stood up tall to kiss him, their mouths meshing together perfectly. Buzzing between them was a strong energy, matched by some underlying frequency that they were both in tune with. Still kissing Jimin strongly, the blonde pushed him against the wall hard enough to dent it.
Jimin hardly felt it.
As the two exchanged much needed lip contact, a servant walked by, completely ignoring the pair. They needn't worry about being noticed, either. Jimin's ability to throw off any onlookers with his visual illusions made getting around a lot less stressful. As long as they weren't too loud-
Jimin gasped as Taehyung's hand fell to his lower back and kept dragging lower. Eventually, the blonde's large hand gripped Jimin's ass tightly as he deepened their kiss. The servant lifted an eyebrow and peeked inside a room on the other end of the hallway, but shrugged off the noise. Soon enough they were alone again in the corridor.
"Jiminnnn..."
Taehyung whispered breathily against the other's lips as they broke for air. His pupils were already dilated and his teeth were playfully set on biting his lower lip. Jimin couldn't take it. The half-blood devoured the man that was Kim Taehyung, saliva coating his plump lips as he attacked the blonde rather aggressively with his tongue and teeth.
Taehyung didn't back down though. No matter how rough they got with each other, they knew they could regenerate soon after with their powers. So why not be a little rough?
"Taeeeee...."
Jimin copied after the blonde moved his hot mouth onto the half-blood's neck. Taehyung's large hands found their way up Jimin's black shirt, running along his sides hungrily as he repeatedly kissed the milky skin of the demon's neck. Jimin couldn't help but melt into the blonde's touch, head tilting up to give Taehyung better access to his sweet spot.
Far off at the end of the hall, another figure was approaching. Jimin ignored the man, figuring it was another servant. Taehyung didn't mind the guy any attention either--he was too far away to even speak to.
Jimin let out a moan as Taehyung lifted him up against the wall harshly. Instinctively, his legs wrapped around the younger's waist and his fingers wove into Taehyung's hair as the blonde sucked on his collarbone. A trail of love marks was beginning to bloom on the half-blood's skin in beautiful shades of red that would later darken. It might attract attention from his children, but he would deal with that later.
All Jimin could think about now was the musky smelling god in front of him that lit a blue fire inside of him. The half-blood could tell the friction of their bodies was already causing both of them much tension in their lower halves.
"Tae--ah!"
The blonde had gone a little too far in his exploration of the elder, accidentally tearing the fabric of Jimin's black blouse off of his shoulder. His exposed skin screamed out to Taehyung, who began to kiss it without further thought.
"Pretty boy...haha!"
Taehyung giggled darkly against Jimin's skin, biting it to the point of pain. Jimin thought he was overexaggerating a bit too much with the intensity. He wiggled under Taehyung's harsh grasp.
"Tae, why are you laughing...?"
The blonde ignored him, shoving Jimin's body against the wall harder. In between his legs the sensation was too much; Jimin let out a lewd noise that made Taehyung laugh even more. A bit irritated, Jimin gripped Taehyung's hair and pulled the other's head back to face him. With a wild kind of look in his face, Taehyung appeared awfully attractive. He nodded off to the side carelessly, letting some of his hair spill over his face as he caught his breath.
"I'm laughing 'cause he's been standing there the whole time...watching us. He likes it."
Jimin lifted his head to see a frozen Jungkook standing in the distance paused mid-step. His large eyes flitted between Jimin and Taehyung, cheeks already blazing with shock. Jimin wiggled out of the blonde's grasp while Taehyung kept chuckling. The half-blood felt a bit uncomfortable pinned between the wall and someone else's husband, even if they had agreed it was okay moments ago.
"Don't worry, Jimin. I can tell by his heart rate that he isn't mad." Taehyung assured, gently letting the other down. "He's just extremely troubled-"
"Troubled?!"
Jimin pushed the blonde away, rushing forward to apologize to Jungkook. He didn't want the other to feel left out now that they were demons and he wasn't. Jimin only got a few steps before the blonde grasped his wrist tightly and whispered something into the back of Jimin's hair.
"No, Jimin. Something in his pants is a little troubled..." Taehyung smirked before clapping his hands together, bidding them both forward. "If you know what I mean."
"O-oh..."
Jungkook crossed his arms as the pair approached him. He had just been out looking for them, a bit pissed off from having to yell at both Rose and Lucio for misbehaving. The Oak Prince did not expect to run into Jimin and Taehyung misbehaving themselves.
"I see you two are busy as ever." Jungkook surmised, locking eyes with both demons.
"Jungkooookkk..." Taehyung sidled up next to his husband, gripping the collar of the ravenette's shirt. "We surely didn't forget about you, babe."
Jimin, despite normally being quiet, wanted to assure Jungkook of their pact together. After making out with Taehyung, the half-blood must have caught some of the confidence from the blonde's overpowering aura.
"Yeah, Kook...we barely even started, right Taehyung?"
Jimin gave Taehyung a look before shrugging at Jungkook. The blouse that was torn fell farther off of the demon's shoulder. The ravenette's eyes fell on Jimin's sexy skin, eyes drinking up the marks decorating Jimin's exposed collarbone.
His expression was unreadable.
But Taehyung seemed to sense what the ravenette was feeling though, based on his hearing ability.
"Right, Jimin. I know you'd want to help us, Kook...especially because now we have-"
"Jimin." Jungkook blurted out, staring at Jimin with dark, sultry eyes. "We have Jimin."
The half-blood stared back. The air surrounding the three men felt electric, buzzing desperately with the urge to come together. Taehyung noticed this and lead the trio down the path of lust with his innate charms.
Devilish charms, some would say.
"Wonderful. I see we're all on the same page."
Taehyung smiled brightly, grabbing both Jungkook's and Jimin's hands with enthusiasm. He then proceeded to drag them quickly to their original destination--
The master suite.
