"Actually you're one to talk baby face" she retorted, blocking a punch coming her way. The both of them just casually flirting with each other during the sparring match. "Aw, thanks D" Dean pulled a kissy face before trying to punch her again, but this time Dahlia expected it and quickly grabbed his arm, pushing his chest and pinning him down without much force. It almost looked like a graceful takedown if it wasn't for Dean's spastic legs falling with a thud on the ground. She smirked down at hellboy and took a deep breath before standing up and helping him up, hand down to help him stand.

Dean took a liking to this particularly strong brunette and took her hand, standing himself up and thanking her with a small smirk on his face. "You should really teach the others. Hope is hopeless and ena is a disaster" he judged the other girls abilities with a look of disdain on his face. Dahlia shrugged and looked at him with curiosity in her eyes. He didn't seem to be all that bad apart from his weird temper tantrums at times. But something about how he often spilled his guts out to her and her alone irked her. She never liked it when people got too close to her. They only ended up hurting her later.

dahlia's name was kept the same, based off of dahlia ravikovitch. her appellation in the glade is 'the warrior' because of her unique ability and extraordinary fighting skill. she is the second in command in maze x and has a great sense of judgment with many tough decisions. she helps atlas call the the shots and is really known to be the 'real' leader of the glade. gladers tend to address her as 'the mastermind' all because she analyzes everything with a lot of detail before making a choice

dahlia is able to predict things before they happen, especially things in the very near future. she tries her best to avoid bad things from happening to her close ones. however, this constant need to change the course of the future can backfire and hurt her instead as some things in nature can't be changed.

dahlia was born to an american father and chinese mother in hunan province, china. her relationship with her parents was relatively healthy until her father started to drink to cope with unemployment. he became very aggressive towards her and her mother. he became the overbearing authority figure she grew to hate. one time, she stepped in on a fight her parents were having in the kitchen, when her father threw a glass vase at her direction. the vase shattered and shards of glass scratched her upper thighs, giving her permanent scars. she got detached from her family since they seemed so self-absorbed with their fights that they didn't even seem to acknowledge her existence either.

her parents eventually got divorced and this caused her a bit of mental anguish, but she powered through mainly because she had already started to detach herself from them. she started to punch bags and pick fights as a young girl to improve her fighting skills until it became an addiction. she was now addicted to the euphoric feeling of winning a fight.

she got taken by WCKD, picked up on the streets as she had just ran away from her father on a trip to america to visit him as per the divorce agreement. it was found out that she had the X gene and through further tests and experiments, they found her cognitive abilities to be quite impressive, making her the perfect candidate for the maze trials. they did not realize she had the ability to predict events in the future until she was in the glade and was accurately predicting the series of challenges they planned to hurl at the gladers. she was able to predict the grievers attack on the glade a day before it happened and had everyone prepared for the event. this made her claim the title of "the mastermind' and 'the warrior,' since she helped lead them into war with little to no casualties. she then became 2nd in command.
