Trekking through the forest wasn't as easy as he thought. His parents thought it would be an excellent idea to go through the vast green Vizzavona forest in France just to be able to bathe in the crystal blue pools. And the singing waterfall. However, a few hours in and they were already lost, having had strayed from the original map because his father thought that would grant them the wild adventure they were seeking. Elio was getting worried now. He saw no way out of this forest, and it was making him scared. His parents didn't look scared, but even if they were, they were awfully good at hiding it. He however, wasn't. The small boy tugged on his mothers' shirt hem, horrified that they wouldn't be able to make it back home at this rate, with how dark it was.

The trees suddenly seemed to rustle, whistling softly around them, and the leaves seemed to turn towards a direction, almost as if the leaves were pointing towards safety, or just at a general direction, they couldn't tell. But they took the leap of faith and followed the path nature seemed to be taking them. Before they knew it, they could see the main streets. Back to civilization. Elio could almost jump. He was a tired little boy, but upon seeing that they were safe, and upon sensing the relief from his parents, he felt immensely better. Magic saved them.

elio's name was chosen by his father, who liked the way the name 'elio' rolled off his tongue. he was born to sean and lea davis on the 22nd of december in new york. he can speak english and french. elio is pan- sexual. he does not have any siblings.

elio is five foot ten. he is pale skinned and has freckles splattered all over his face & body. he has curly brown hair and soft green eyes that glow a brighter green when he uses his abilities. he has a soft voice and bears no scars except for the wckd tattoo.

elio is good at healing, since his abilities are related to healing. he can manipulate plants and get herbs from them. he can also garden really well and write beautifully. he panicks and finds it hard to breathe when he is alone. he also very gullible.

elio loves animals, plants and flowers a lot. he also really likes it when people forgive each other for past mistakes and show change. he dislikes people that are too aggressive and he dislikes insensitive people that dismiss him.

elio is a track hoe and gardener in the glade. he often races around the forest to get plants and fertilisers, and he helps the medjacks in his spare time because of his abilities. his appellation in the glade is 'the tree' because of his green eyes and nature related ability.

 ◎𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

elio can manipulate plants around him. he can manipulate the flora and fauna around him to his advantage, for stealth and he can conjure healing plants. he uses vines for his attack, but he usually leaves the latter for emergencies only, as he doesn't like violence.

elio was born to american parents named sean and lea davis. he was found to be immune and was supposed to be sent up the normal maze, however since he had the infamous x gene, he was made to go through maze x as well. apart from all the experiments happening, he also had to witness a lot of the atrocities that WCKD scientists would inflict on them at all times.

he eventually learned that subjects of maze x were never meant to escape, but were supposed to be used as guinea pigs for an experiment - to learn more about how the body reacts to the flare. however, due to all of the experiments and the harsh conditions, the gladers gained abilities to suit their needs to survive the maze. elio discovered that he was able to manipulate the greenery around him to his advantage and so, he honed his abilities in the maze. he is a pacifist. but when provoked, he can use the plants as an aggressive tactic against his attackers, especially using the vines to choke said attackers. he can also conjure medicinal plants and herbs to heal people. his abilities are a sight to witness and is said to look beautiful, however his abilities can be affected by his mood. if he's unwell, or upset, the fauna around him would be affected and may seem dull, mimicking his state.
