Alexander's face, Atlas's body and Lucas's legs. What the hell? Kenji looked down at his legs as he got up from the hammock and looked at his reflection from the pot hanging in the cooks' station. He let out a sigh of exasperation as he got weird looks from the girls and boys that were awake and doing their morning routines. "You gotta get a handle on your abilities mate" the real Alexander commented, an extremely confused look on his face. "Atlas's torso I assume?" Alexander joked, to which Kenji nodded to the correct assumption. "And Lucass' legs." Kenji finished. Alexander nodded before a frown crossed his face. "Do you think you can run as fast as Lucas with his legs?" Kenji raised an eyebrow in newfound confidence and curiosity. He looked towards the entrance of the maze and bolted towards it, but unfortunately, he wasn't speedy like Lucas was. Lucas' special ability didn't sprinkle onto him, which sucked. Alexander ran towards his face twin and chuckled softly. "I guess you can't" he remarked before witnessing Kenji change back into how he usually looks. Slim fit, honey pale skin and brown hair, brown eyes.

"Honestly, I didn't look so bad with Atlas's chest" Alexander puffed up his own chest with confidence, which made Kenji snort. "Ask him to top you" he made a very adult joke, making Alexander gasp in surprise. "I... I don't know how to answer that, but i will help you get your powers together you angsty teenager." Kenji nodded. Alexander was the same age as him, but acted older, so it was easy for the gladers to believe he was actually older. He needed to put a lid on his powers. It was getting creepy now. He wondered how long it would take for that.

kenji was born to noshiko and ken yukimura in new york on the 5th of march. his parents were both japanese americans, which means kenji can speak japanese and english fluently. the name kenji was given to him because his father thought the name sounded like some video game fighter that could wield a sword. he had a sister named kira who passed away due to cancer several years before the flare.

kenji has honey pale skin and brown eyes. he has dark brown hair that borders black. his hair is often spiked, combed upwards. he is five foot seven and has a slim fit build and is often seen in a tank top and shorts he has a few freckles on his back and arms.

kenji is charming and attractive. he is an everyone's-man. he makes friends easily and is very chatty. however, he can come off as obnoxious and indecisive and can also come off as bossy and impulsive.

kenji is really good at understanding people and their emotions because he wants to make friends with everyone. he is also very agile, due to his training even before wckd. he is flexible as well. he however, can be clingy at times, and this clinginess leads to him seeming bossy. his impulsiveness can also lead him to be quite a bit blunt when he needs to speak his mind and is angry.

kenji really enjoys martial arts and practicing his swordsmanship. he likes practicing iaido & karate. he also really likes talking until he gets tired. however, because he has been surrounded by people most of the time, he hates being alone as it makes him very depressed. also, he dislikes any distractions when he is really focused and determined to achieve his goals and tasks.

kenji is immune and is a map-maker in the glade. he helps the runners too. his name was kept the same based off of kenji nakagami. he was chosen to become a map-maker because he is naturally smart and agile. his sense of direction is also strong. his appellation is 'the sword' because of his excellent skill and because of his swordsmanship.

 ◎𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

kenji is capable of shape shifting. he can mimic any living person or thing, turning into them/it after spending time with them/it for a while. in extreme cases, he can shape shift into them/it with a touch if the need be. his abilities do not come with the ability to retain the hosts memory, so that can often sabotage his attempts to fool people. to make up for it, he is adept in martial arts & can expertly use a sword in combat.

kenji was born to japanese-american parents in new york city. he had an older sister who he dearly loved until her death at the age of 7, when he was 4. after the death of his sister kira, kenji found his family in a state of despair, which made him feel like he should do something to get his family back together. he picked up a stray dog and at first, his parents were angry, but they got used to it and even appreciated it. even as a young kid, he was very sensible and mature.

he lived an overall happy life with his parents and kept his parents happy with his polite gestures and his skill. he made sure to study hard and do his best and not let them down. as the flare came around, kenji's parents voluntarily handed kenji to WCKD, knowing he was worth more than just dying to the flare.

he showed exceptional skill in karate, especially since he had prior practice and quickly evolved to be a black belt. he also exhibited prolific mastery in his swordsmanship, having learned many things from his coping father as a way to bond his son, teaching him some historic moves it was found out that he had the infamous X gene through a number of experiments and this ability was further tested and discovered when he was put in the glade. he changed into a fellow glader to confuse the leader as a prank. the first few weeks of his discovery. he found it hard to control his abilities, as he would end up with someone's face, body & some body parts would remain the same, looking scary and disjointed. he eventually learned to calm down and use his abilities.
