My eyes were slowly getting used to the bright light that had been pointed to my face.

The image in front of me was slightly sharpening, enough so I could realize it was the battery lamp from my backpack.

My backpack. My diary.

I got up in the sitting position, which was a very bad move because at the next moment, I felt a sharp pain piercing right through my head.

I collapsed again and lifted my hand to protect the face from the light that was still blinding me.

There was a terrible pain in my neck and I for sure had the purple marks on it.

That creature, whatever it is, stared at me behind the battery lamp, holding nothing else but my diary.

I got a strong urge to jump, knock a flashlight out of his hand and take a diary, but what then?

Then I can't escape because I have no where to go.

I lowered my hand and the light hit my eyes again, making my pupils constrict.

My eyes started to hurt so I turned aside and then to my stomach.

I put hands under and started to slowly get up, trying to not move much.

I tightly closed my eyes and stood up on my knees, then to my feet.

He was behind me and my breathing was only getting faster. The sound of a flashlight falling down echoed through the cave.

I slowly turned around despite of the strong pain in my neck. In the corner of my eye, I caught the battery lamp rolling towards the wall.

I could also hear the sound of the paper falling down. I reached for the small belt that was under my chin and unbuttoned it, making helmet fall into my hands.

I twisted the top of the lamp and it gave me the slight ray of light.

I felt the steps right behind me and quickly turned around pointing the light right into his eyes, or it just looked like that in my head.

He moved faster than it was humanly possible, and I couldn't catch his body contour not even for a second.

After almost a minute of the aimlessly light pointing in the emptiness, I felt a blunt kick that made me fall on my knees.

I looked around scared as hell, searching for a silhouette in the complete darkness until my eyes didn't start to hurt.

I reached the flashlight and slowly turned it off along with the one on the helmet. I also grabbed the red booklet, actually the diary and placed it in front of myself.

Everything was quiet, even too quiet.

I found a pen attached to the front of the diary and pulled it out.

I got back to my feet and waited for a creature to hit me again, only this time, I'll fight back.

But nothing happened.

I think he's gone.

I sighed and turned the flashlight on and then opened the diary to the last page where I wrote.

July 25, 3017

Dear Diary,

You won't believe me what just happened, but I can't tell you now because I don't think I have much time. Briefly, I went to the pit and I think I really met the devil himself. He has a horrible and frightening deep voice and pale hands, I haven't seen anything else yet, but I don't think I even want to. Now I just need to find a way to get out and...

The notebook suddenly flew out of my hands and I heard a laugh that made me feel the fear deep in my bones.

He's back.

"I never left." Like he answered my thoughts. I pointed the light in the direction from which the voice was coming from, but all I saw was just a wall with more drawings of the stars on it.

I laughed.

"You are enjoying this, aren't you?" I asked in a trembling voice, trying to find him in the darkness.

"You could say so." He replied with a laugh in his voice, and then the flashlight was shoved from my hand.

I quickly turned around and my body collided with his. My breathing got faster and I got the urge to run, just to get away as far as possible.

But I didn't even move for a millimeter.

I stayed standing here while my chest was abnormally rising and my body trembling, partly because of the fear and partly because of the coldness that his presence radiated with.

Pessimism was going through my head while the exclamation marks in the yellow triangles were popping in front of my eyes.

Why did I need this?

"Who are you?" I asked, but instead of answering me, he put his cold finger on my lips as a sign of silence.

Now he is going to break my neck like he did to that black-haired girl. May she rest in peace.

"I'm asking questions here, did you forget?" A warm breath touched my face, which meant he was dangerously close.

"I'm sorry." I whispered and closed my eyes, ready for the worst.

Death.

But instead of that, the cold hand grabbed my chin and pulled me forward.

In emptiness.

I kissed the air.

I opened my eyes and finally met with dark, almost black eyes, staring at me as the battery lamp was turned upward illuminating our faces.

There was a pair of thin lips, twisted into a smirk on his pale face.

He had sharp facial features accompanied with the bold cheekbones and eyebrows as black as coal above the also black eyes where, for the moment, I seemed to see the glimpse of the galaxy.

Let's just say it's my obsession with the universe.

His skin looked like white, woven silk and seemed so soft on the touch.

He looked beautiful and so dangerous.

I forgot about the danger and wanted to feel that softness.

I reached towards his cheek, but just before I could touch him, he grabbed my wrist forbidding me that.

I didn't move because of the pain that flowed through my body towards the brain as a warning to move away, on the contrary, I stood there with my hand in the air as he was firmly holding it.

I got used to the pain and didn't feel anything anymore.

I had no intention to hurt him like he did to me. He was much stronger than me anyway, and my attempt to harm him would be just rush towards the guaranteed death.

The smile was no longer visible on his face, it was replaced by a plump lips that wiped away the trace of those thin.

They parted, blowing the heated air into my face, which was only a few inches away from his.

It was like I had been frozen in the place and this sudden heat melted the ice that made it impossible for me to move.

I blinked several times, getting out of the trance in which his beauty threw me. He didn't look like a monster that I imagined in my head.

He eased a grip around my arm and it immediately flew towards his cheek, making a loud sound.

Pure evil doesn't deserve good.

"You are going to regret this."
