Kazuto's POV

I awoke in a hospital bed. Not knowing why I was there in the first place, I looked around the room to see if any doctors were in the room. I started to lift myself in a sitting position when a sharp pain went through my back. I laid back down only then realizing that there was an unknown amount of weight on my lap. I swear I remember this amount of weight from somewhere, but where was it? I looked down at my lap to see a sleeping Shino Asada with her head down on my leg with a little bit of drool coming out of her mouth. That is so damn cute.

When she heard me wince a little bit from trying to get up earlier and she start to wake up. "Kazuto? Are you awake yet?" she started to ask while still a bit asleep. "Yes I am now Shino. But would you care to explain to me what happened?" "Your awake!!" I was pulled into a deep and warm hug from her and it hurt a little bit not to much. I hugged her back to try and comfort her. "You baka! You hap me worried sick. I thought that you were going to die!!" She started to cry out. I don't what was more painful, seeing her cry or the pain going from my back to my front.

"You...You were hit by a car when you went to get some food or whatever for you and your sister and then--" she breaks into a cry and I immediately know what happened next. "You don't need to continue I know what happened now." I say trying to comfort her with my hand. "I have one more question Sin-erm Shino. How long was I unconscious for?" "You were out for two weeks. The doctors said you have a broken leg, back, and arm. Which means you won't be going to school for the next three days." Well at least I get to miss school. But was I really out for that long? Man that car must've hit me harder than I thought it did.

I asked her if she could call everyone and tell them that I am awake and if they can come see me. She gave an agreement and went to call everyone in a group call. "They'll be here in about 30-45 minutes." She told me letting me know that I need to get ready. I went to get changed in the bathroom only to find out that's it's going to be hell putting on my clothes with my injuries right now.

After about 10 minutes of getting dressed I come out of the bathroom to see that Sugu has already arrived. "Onii-Chan!! I missed you so much!!" She said as she wrapped her arms around me. Another sharp pain goes through my back and I let out a small wince of pain letting her know that my back is still healing from the accident. "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know that you were still wounded!" "It's okay sis." Just as I said that everyone else starts walking in. I first see Rika, Keiko, Ryōutaro, Agil(I'm calling him that from now on because it's too awkward calling him Andrew), and the Asuna. "Oh thank god you're okay!!" They cheered in unison. "Yeah I'm fine. How is everything going with all of you (would y'all mind if I start saying y'all instead. Let me know in the comments)?" I ask them. Apparently all of them are still shaken about my accident but some are just relieved that I finally woke up. You know you had is worried sick man!!" Ryōutaro shouted.(Same with Klein. I'm calling him by his in-game name from now on)

After of few hours they all left the room and it was only me and Shino. "So the doctor also said that due to your injuries you will also have to stay with someone, and since no one was around, I decided that I would watch over you." "Shino you don't have to do that for me. I can just have Sugu watch over me while I'm at the house." I told her. She then started telling me that she has already signed the papers about the doctors giving her permission to watch over me, and that she has decided to skip school for the next 3 days until I can return to school. "Ok but don't let anyone know,except for my aunt and Sugu, that you're watching over me. Alright?" "Hai!"

After the doctors said I could leave the hospital and go to Shino's apartment, she got a in a car, that I assumed was her new one she got while I was in a two week long coma so she could go to school and back without having me drive her everywhere. I get in and we go to my house to pack somethings. I tell Sugu and my aunt that I'm going to stay at Shino's for the next three days. They agreed and I got into Shino's car and we drove away.

"So Kazuto, as soon as we get home you are getting into the shower. Also how will you be able to take one without hurting yourself?" She asked me. I noticed that with my back and leg that I couldn't really bend down that far to shower the bottom part of my body. "I might take a bath instead. But then you will have to go first while I get my stuff in." "Okay but just to make this clear we will have to share the same bed for the next three days." Both of our cheeks went Scarlet red as we both thought about it. "Are you sure you don't want me to sleep on the floor or even on the futon Shino?" I ask hoping that she would say yes that she wanted me to sleep on either of those. "No I'm sure that I want to make sure you get some good sleep tonight. Well we're here!" She said as she parked her car. She must've moved out of her old apartment too because the building we were at was different than her usual apartment building. I got out of the car and grabbed my crutches and made my way over to the trunk. I grabbed my stuff only go be assisted by Shino. We made our way over two the elevator and went up to her floor. She unlocked her door and put my stuff down by her bed. When I walked in the entrance to the apartment had more space than it used to. The last time I remember being in her room was when I was protecting her from Shinkawa. "Hey Shino, did you get a new apartment or something?" "Yes I have. Thank you for noticing. So what do you think?" "It's better than the other one." As we got done unpacking my stuff, she went to get in the bath. I laid down on her bed and looked at my phone. 20 messages and 10 missed calls from school huh? Well this is new. As I thought it was about time for me to go grab something to eat, Shino came in wearing her pajamas. "Well it's your turn now." She reminded me. I grabbed my night clothes and got in the bath. It hurt sitting down for a little bit but then I could feel my muscles start to relax. After a few minutes I got out, drained the water, brushed my teeth, with my good arm, and put my clothes on and left the bathroom. I went to see a half asleep Shino laying down on her bed. I put my crutches down by my bag and laid down next to Shino. I pulled her close to me as I was starting to fall asleep.

Time skip to next morning
Shino's point of view

I woke up in my room on my bed. I was getting up but noticed an arm over me holding me close to someone. I looked over and saw Kirigaya laying next to me asleep. He's so cute that I want to kiss him. I knew I liked him and I'm glad he liked me back. As I try my best to not wake the sleeping cripple, I get out of my bed to make breakfast. As I finish I see Kazuto finally getting up but falling off the bed. "My god that hurt so much!" The boy said as he fell on his injured leg and back. "Well ohaiyo (did I spell that right?) Kazuto. I'm glad to see you awake!" I said as I tried to hide a laugh. He used one of his crutches for support to help himself up. I felt bad for the boy knowing that he has to bend down to get his other crutch. Suddenly an idea popped in my head. "Why don't we get you a wheel chair!?" I said as he looked at me with a confused look on his face. "Shino you do realize that my school doesn't have an elevator like you, right?" He told me as he grabbed his other crutch and made his way the kitchen. "Yeah I know. I was thinking it could for around the apartment and the lower floor of your house." "Hmm. Maybe." As I finished making breakfast I sat down and put mine and his plate down to eat. "So what should we do today?" I asked hoping that we would get alone time out of the room. "Well we could go  to the heart of Tokyo, watch a movie that you would want to see, or go have some fun." "Well I think we should go see a movie then go the heart of Tokyo." "Alright then what movie do you want to see?" "Well they are showing a movie from when I was a kid and I thought we could go see that." "Well what time is it starting?" "Around 2:00." He nodded as for giving me a confirmation.

After we were done eating, we decided to walk to the theater. Once the movie started I curled up into his arm hoping that he would accept and put my head on his shoulder. He put his arm around me and kissed the top of my forehead. I could feel my cheeks warming up as I started to blush.  Once the movie ended we head over to the Heart of Tokyo and walk to a bench. I had the best day of my life with my crush and was glad yet sad that he would still be here for two more days. I wish this could last forever.

Once we went home I got into the bath. I finished rather quickly to find that Kazuto has made dinner already. As we ate he were talking about logging in to GGO tomorrow to start training for the next BOB team tournament. As we finished he went into the bathroom and I got into the bed. I was about to pass out when I felt a familiar arm come around my waist. "Sleep well Shino and dream of me." He said as he drifted off to sleep. I told him the same thing and went to sleep

A/N: I'm glad I got this part done. Anyway could this mean the Kirito and Sinon are a couple? Well I don't have much to say except that I'm continuing a friends story of mine called missing beat. In this story, SAO never happened and Kazuto, Asuna, Lisbeth, and Yuuki are in a band called Infinity Moment. That is all I will say and will do the same thing with this one as for Missing Beat.
