A/N : hey everyone Knightmare here and welcome back to this reboot. Hope you enjoyed it so far even though I really don't know what the hell I'm doing. Anyway. Let's jump into the chapter.

Jane POV lunch break

I was at school looking around for (Y/N) but couldn't see him anywhere. Was he and what happened last night......just a dream?

(Y/N) : I'd call it a nightmare myself but who am I to choose for you?

I suddenly jumped and looked back to see (Y/N) behind me. How did he even get behind me without me noticing?

Jane : *sighs out of relief* you scared me.

(Y/N) : my apologies. I just noticed that you were looking around for me, so...here I am.

Jane : I....I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going crazy and last night wasn't just a bad dream.

(Y/N) : I assure you that it was not, no matter how much you want it to be. It's as real as the air you're breathing.

??? : what's real?

We looked to our side and saw my twin brother Ken next to us. Jesus, is everybody gonna sneak up on me today?

Jane : Ken! My god, it feels like everyone's just gonna sneak up on me today.

(Y/N)/Ken : know how that feels.

Ken : huh? *turns to (Y/N)* oh, sorry. I didn't notice you there. I'm Ken Jane's twin brother nice to meet you *offers a hand to (Y/N)* you're (Y/N) (L/N) right? The new guy.

(Y/N) : yes. *shakes Ken's hand* I am.

Ken : so-.....what were you two talking about?

Jane : nothing really. Don't worry about it.

(Y/N) : yes, she was just suggesting some good restaurants in the city. That's all.

Ken : huh...really? Why didn't you ask Sarah?

(Y/N) : it's supposed to be a surprise. If I tell her what the surprise is....then it wouldn't be a surprise.

Ken : ooooh. Now I get it. Nice. Well, I'm just going to look for Mark. The asshole must be here somewhere.

(Y/N) : perhaps, good luck with that.

Ken : thanks. Good luck to you too. Don't worry. I won't say ANYTHING.

(Y/N) : thank you.

He then moved away but (Y/N) just looked at him as he left.

(Y/N) : interesting.

Jane : huh? What is it?

(Y/N) : I've erased all memories of that fallen angel's existence but he still remembers him.

Jane : w-wait.....what?

(Y/N) : everything will be explained soon. For now....we need to go to class.

As he said that the bell rang. Huh...lucky guess. I looked around and....he was gone already. How is he that fast? I just sighed and went inside the school building and went to my class as usual and just waited for the teacher.

Ken POV

I'm fucking losing my fucking mind. I've looked all over school for that fucking asshole Mark and I can't fucking find him.

Ken : ugghh......

Guy 1 : hey. Ken, you alright man?

Ken : no, I've been looking for Mark since this morning but I can't fucking find him.

Guy 2 : Mark? Who's that?

Ken : come on. Not this again, you know Mark. My sister's boyfriend.

Guy 1 : she has a boyfriend?!

Ken : what the hell is wrong with you guys? They've been dating for a year now.

Guy 2 : uhh....dude? You okay? Did you hit your head somewhere?

Ken : oh you're playing THAT game again. Okay. Let me just.

I picked my phone and looked for any photo of Mark but....there were none. What the hell?

Ken : what the-

Guy 1 : dude....you now look like Issei who claimed he had a girlfriend a couple of days ago.

Ken : it's.....weird.

Then (Y/N) came in the class and I don't know why....but I don't have a good feeling about him.

Guy 1 : ugghh.....great. He's here.

Guy 2 : I really hate it that we got a class with him. It's really the worst thing that he's in our class.

Guy 1 : yeah.

Ken : ahh....memories.

Guy 2 : hey, at least you didn't steal all the girls from day one, but he did exactly that.

Guy 1 : yup, he just came in school now ALL the girls in school fell for him IMMEDIATELY.

Ken : guess you're right.

The teacher then came in as we all sat down and listened to him. Well most of us did. I just had my eye on (Y/N), I don't quite trust him and he got a bad vibe to him and something tells me I have to keep an eye on him.

After school Ken POV

I was the last guy to get out of class as always and went to the courtyard and saw my sister waiting in the middle of the courtyard. Why? I went towards her and tapped on her shoulder.

Ken : hey, uhh....why didn't you go home yet.

Jane : huh. Oh, Ken. Umm...well....I-

(Y/N) : because I told her to.

I looked back and saw (Y/N) wearing a Trench coat and having a Katana in his hand and he was just standing there.

Ken : why? You still need name of a restaurant or something?

(Y/N) : no, I just want to talk. To both of you.

Ken : there's nothing to talk about.

(Y/N) : there is.

He then summoned 8 black spears that were floating next to him as he came towards us.

(Y/N) : and we will talk.

I don't care who or what he is, but if he threatens my sister, then he's a dead man. I then stood in front of my sister in a defensive manner, but then I saw a black feather slowly descending in front of my face. I looked up and saw a fallen angel hovering over with two light spears in his hand. I looked back at (Y/N) and saw that his dark spears aimed toward the fallen angel as he shot them towards it with the speed twice as fast as a gun. Poor fallen angel didn't even had time to react.

Ken : how did you-?

(Y/N) : it doesn't matter. Now come, both of you. We must talk.

He then went past us and went to the ORC building and my sister without hesitation followed him. Did he....did he hypnotize my sister or something? He better not. I just sighed and followed them through the woods until we arrived at the building. We went inside and went through the hallways until we reached the club room, he opened the door and the three of us went inside. I already knew who the ORC are, but I didn't know that Issei is part of them. But there was also someone else that I didn't recognise, but he gave the same aura as (Y/N) but a bit weaker and the ORC were bowing to him.

(Y/N) : Blackheart? I didn't expect that you'd be here so soon after I contacted you.

Blackheart : well what can I say.....I thought to surprise my little brother. *turns to the ORC* it's enough guys, you can raise your heads. Except the pervert.

Issei : uggghhh.

I looked at (Y/N) and he didn't seem too pleased with seeing Issei. But let's be honest, who would? Not me.

(Y/N) : I see you've ignored my warnings miss Gremory.

Rias : forgive me lord Phantom, I wanted to think over the matter before making a decision so after you've left I've been thinking about it and wanted to remove Issei's evil pieces and erase his memory, but he started begging me and then lord Blackheart interrupted us.

Blackheart : Y-yeah......I saw him on his knees crying like a little bitch when I came here. It was such a hilarious position that I had to take a pic.

(Y/N) : hmm......I see.

Blackheart : yeah. So....wanna tell us why you brought two humans here?

Ken : yeah.....that's what I wanna know too.

(Y/N) : at first I just wanted to bring Jane so she may replace Issei in Rias's Peerage, but then I met you Ken and I have to say.....you're not too discreet about your powers. You just let it all show without even hiding it.

Ken : ummm........yeah, guess I goofed a little there.

Issei : HOW THE HELL CAN A GIRL LIKE HER JUST REPLACE ME?!!

Blackheart : I don't remember giving you permission to talk. NOW BEND LOWER!

That sounded worse than it should have. (agreed) (Y/N) just facepalmed with a face saying "I'm not drunk enough for this shit" and then proceeded to drink from his flask and sighed. Wait, why does he even have a flask? Is it water inside it or is it really alcohol? He then looked at Jane who looked more confused than ever.

Jane : what is going here? *the gif below*

(Y/N) : ahh, my apologies. I forgot you're not familiar with the supernatural like your brother and I have to explain everything. Let's start the explanation, one question at a time. Ask and I shall answer.

Jane : umm.....w-well......first of all......what are you?

(Y/N) : everyone in this room apart from you and your brother is a devil, me included.

Jane : why were they bowing to that creepy guy?

Blackheart : hey!

(Y/N) : that creepy guy, is my brother, Blackheart Lucifer. Me and my brother are sons of the devil.

Jane : *scared* Y-you are?

(Y/N) : don't worry, as frightening as it sounds, we're not actually bad people. I did save you twice, didn't I?

Ken : wait, twice? Fallen angels attacked her before?

(Y/N) : yes, last night. He was portraying himself as her boyfriend.

Ken : Mark was a fallen angel....I KNEW IT. That's why I had a bad feeling about him.

(Y/N) : enough with that, now Jane, do you have any other questions you wish to ask?

Jane : yes.....why would a fallen angel attack me and why should son of the devil protect me?

(Y/N) : excellent question, that's one of the reasons I wanted everyone here. The fallen angel that attacked you last night and the one from earlier were both subordinates of a rogue fallen angel named Kokabiel, a former General of the fallen angels who has turned into a war loving psycho. He believes that you and your brother are threats to his plan.

Jane : okay, that answers my first question. But...why did you save me? You could just look the other way and pretend nothing happened.

(Y/N) : first of all, I'm not like those kind of men to ignore anyone in danger, second the aura that was emitting from you, it seemed powerful.

Blackheart : okay, I understand till here, but......why am I here?

(Y/N) : him *points at Ken*

Ken : what?

(Y/N) : while Jane's power is still sealed, yours is not and you can control it.

Ken : yes, that's right but.....what does that has to do with your brother being here?

(Y/N) : he still lacks a knight in his Peerage, and I wanted to ask you to join him.

Blackheart : Y-yeah, about that.....why won't you gather your own Peerage? You're already a high ranking devil, you're powerful and you're a great leader.

Ken : wait, you don't have a Peerage yet?

Jane : what's a Peerage?

(Y/N) : a group of devils under the leadership of a high ranking devil, like my brother or Rias.

Jane : okay, you have a Peerage too?

(Y/N) : no, I'm part of my brother's Peerage. My evil pieces were too unstable. Too much that we had to destroy them.

Blackheart : yeah, I almost forgot about that. I came here for another reason as well.

Blackheart then pulled out a small box out of a small portal, he opened it and it showed some weird looking pieces.

(Y/N) : are these-

Blackheart : yup, your evil pieces. Ajuka found a way to stabilize them but it changed their shapes to what you see now. They're no longer evil pieces, I believe Ajuka called them "Kombat pieces".

(Y/N) : interesting. They have different shapes than the evil pieces. And they lack four pieces.

Blackheart : I know, it's weird. Anyway, since these are not evil pieces Ajuka came up with new names for them based on their functions.

Ken : how does he know what they do if they're a brand new type of evil pieces?

Rias : that's what I wanted to ask as well.

Blackheart : well......lesser demons aren't very intelligent, but they're obidient and do as they're ordered so.....we used a couple of them for our experiments and figured out quite a lot about these pieces.

(Y/N) : well then, you might as well explain their functions.

Blackheart : got it. First off the grunt, the weakest in the group, this piece is just a combi of knight and pawn. It only gives the one who has it twice the power and speed they already posses. Nothing too special. Moving on, here we have the two sorcerers, replacing bishops. These pieces enhance one's magical abilities making them ten times stronger than they were.

Ken : huh, neat.

(Y/N) : hmmm....

Blackheart : anyway, next up we got the Shifter, replacement for the Rook. The name should make it clear what it does, oh and a useful feature it has is that it can be combined with a sorcerer piece.

Issei : that's awesome!

Blackheart : DID I SAY YOU CAN TALK OR RAISE YOUR HEAD?!

Issei : *bows down again terrified* N-no sir.

Blackheart : so shut the fuck up. Anyway, next up we got the main deals, the champion pieces replacing the Queen piece.

(Y/N) : pieces?

Blackheart : yeah, there are two champion pieces. Me and Ajuka still haven't figured out how that happened tho, anyway. This piece just make the person ten times stronger than they were.

Rias : can anyone receive the champion piece?

Blackheart : well, not exactly. The one who receives the champion piece must be powerful on their own, or else they'll die.

(Y/N) : is that all?

Blackheart : yup. So, what do you say?

(Y/N) : hmm......fine, I suppose it is for the best.

Blackheart : I knew you'd come around.

He gave the box to (Y/N) who made a black portal and placed it in the portal but took one of the champion pieces.

(Y/N) : now that, that's out of the way, time to attend to more serious problems like....him.

He turned his gaze to Issei who I think felt it cause he was sweating buckets. I swear he was about to piss himself.

(Y/N) : Rias Gremory, what is your final decision?

Rias : I wish him out of my Peerage.

(Y/N) : wise decision.

Issei : N-no, please my lord. I beg of you. You can't just-

(Y/N) : watch me.

He then kicked him in the face making him get knocked out cold. He then proceeded to take out the evil pieces out of his chest.

Ken : I thought evil pieces couldn't be taken out unless they're dead.

(Y/N) : yes, for most, but for me.....it's different. I've gained the knowledge of this magic a few years ago, it took me a while to perfect it. *turns to Rias with 8 pawn pieces in hand* here are your pieces.

Rias : thank you my lord.

Koneko : what will you do to him now?

(Y/N) : seal his sacred gear and erase his memories of the past few days. That's for the best.

Akeno : lord Phantom, if I may, I heard that you have the power to take away someone's sacred gear without killing them.

(Y/N) : that is merely a rumor. Even I can't do such a thing. Only God is capable of such a thing. If I even tried to take away his sacred gear, I would've only burned his soul AND Ddraig's soul in the process.

Akeno : I see.

Kiba : now that Issei's gone, can Jane really replace him?

(Y/N) : the final decision is upto her, if she wishes to join you or not.

Ken : whoa whoa whoa, I'm not gonna let my sister turn into a devil.

(Y/N) : as I said, it's her choice.

Jane : Wha-......I-

(Y/N) : calm down, you don't need to decide right away, but you on the other hand *turns to Ken* you do.

Ken : what?!

(Y/N) : I believe you saw me take one of the champion pieces, now I decided to make you my first champion.

Ken : whoa, whoa, whoa, what?

(Y/N) : I've sensed your great power and I believe you'd be a great addition to my Peerage.

Ken : hehehe, hahahaha. You really think I'll just accept becoming the slave of a guy who is clearly weaker than me?

Blackheart : weaker than you? I'm sorry bu-

(Y/N) : and how did you come to the conclusion that I'm weaker than you?

Ken : first of all, you're a devil, second, I'm a Dragon God.

Jane : you're a what?!

Ken : woops.

Blackheart : okay, you mean you have the sacred gear of a Dragon God or....

(Y/N) : he's a true Dragon God by blood. So is Jane.

Jane : what?!

Ken : *sigh* fine. You got us. But still, you're weaker than I am.

(Y/N) : guess there's only one way to find out then, a fight.

Ken : deal, if I lose, I will join your Peerage. But if you lose, you have to keep me and my sister out of all this.

(Y/N) : agreed. Shall we go outside?

Ken : agreed.

Blackheart : this is gonna be amazing. I'll get the popcorn.

Rias : I guess we have to go as well.

3rd person POV

They both went out of the ORC and went behind the old building for their battle. (Y/N) made a barrier between them and the outside to prevent any unwanted collateral damage.

(Y/N) : this is your last chance to surrender.

Ken : like hell, that'll happen. I'm gonna kick your ass. Let there be light!

And with a flash of light the blonde boy summoned his armor, armor of the Dragon God of light.

Blackheart : alright then. FIGHT!

(Vergil is (Y/N) and Dante is Ken)

(hey, don't judge me. I'm lazy as fuck and plus, just putting a video of a badass fight is way easier than being creative am I right? Plus, the chapter is long as it is)

Blackheart : *throws away the popcorn* welp. That was a waste.

Ken : h-how the hell?

(Y/N) : I'll give you a hint. I'm the Nightmare.

Ken : Nightmare the God slayer? well, that explains how stupidly powerful you are.

Ken then laid down and passed out from how badly he was beaten up by the young Demon. (Y/N) made the barrier disappear as he placed the champion piece on Ken's chest and made him his champion. As Ken absorbed the piece his wounds disappeared and his fatigued went away. Ken got up from the ground with a disappointed face.

Ken : I hate you.

(Y/N) : I know. *turns towards Jane* your brother lost a bet, but you can still choose to be a devil or stay away from all of this.

Jane : I-I understand.

(Y/N) : I know that this is a big decision to make, but I'll respect your decision.

Jane : *smiles* thank you.

Ken : hey, me becoming your champion doesn't mean you can flirt with my sister tho.

(Y/N) : what are you talking about?

Blackheart : *whispers to Ken* trust me, he doesn't even WANT to flirt. But if.....IF he end up marrying your sister, just know that he didn't even intended that. He just got protagonist chick magnitude powers.

Ken : he got what?

Blackheart : nevermind, just know that when he flirts.......he's just talking.

(Y/N) : are you two done with your nonsense?

Blackheart : yeah, yeah, we're done. Anyway, I better get back to the Underworld and give father the news about Kokabiel. For now all of you stay alert. Oh and Phantom.

The elder devil reached in his coat and threw a cane at his little brother who caught it and pulled off the handle to reveal a blade attached to the cane.

Ken : whoa. That's awesome.

Blackheart : thought maybe I could give you an apology gift for missing your birthday, so....happy birthday little brother.

(Y/N) : hmm........thank you.

Blackheart : *nods* welp, I'll be on my way now. See you later.

Blackheart then teleported back to the underworld with a smile on his face. (Y/N) sheathed the sword cane and put it in his coat where he could access it easily.

(Y/N) : I'll be taking my leave now. I've got other things to attend to.

Ken : guess I have to-

(Y/N) : for your first order, protect your sister at all costs and keep an eye on the sky.

Ken : okay? You sure you don't want me to tag along?

(Y/N) : yes, your priority must be protecting your sister from the threats of the fallen angels, whether she chooses to become a devil or not.

Ken : wow, you sure you're not in love with my sister right now.

Jane : *blushing* K-Ken! *punches his shoulder*

Ken : ow. *turns towards (Y/N)*

(Y/N) : do I look like I'm joking?

Ken : n-no sir.

(Y/N) : good, now do as you're told. Failure will be punished by death.

Ken : WHAT THE FUCK?!

Rias : L-lord Phantom, don't you think that's a little too much?

(Y/N) : no, I believe it's actually a suitable punishment. If he fails to protect his own sister then it shows his incompetence and lack of power. And in my eyes, incompetence is only punishable by death.

Ken : I-I think I got the gist of what you mean.

(Y/N) : let's hope you did, or else your head will be my next trophy.

Ken nodded as he was sweating buckets from fear. (Y/N) then took a deep breath and made a magic circle appear under him. He looked relieved that it worked.

He then disappeared and got teleported to a realm of blazing fire and endless suffering. Where screams and pleas of the damned could be heard all around the place, where monsters and lesser demons roamed freely, the relam that the fallen God Shinnok used to rule. The Netherrealm. (Y/N) walked along side the lava River while the onis and lesser demons crawled back in fear as they saw him. He made his way towards the castle of the fallen God which is now only used as a prison for the former servants of Shinnok such as the revenants and Shinnok's loyal slave, Quan Chi.

He made his way through the empty halls of the castle and made his way to the dungeon where the revenants were held. As he walked past the many cages of the revenant slaves he was finally met with a friendly face, the temporary empress of Outworld and one of his trusted friends, Mileena.

Mileena : (Y/N)? I didn't know you'd be visiting today.

(Y/N) : someone had to remind you to get some sleep. You can't stay here all the time, your people need you.

Mileena : I know, but.....so does she.

(Y/N) : yes, but as Empress, your people must come first. I promised that I'll cure her didn't I?

Mileena : yes, you did. But.....

(Y/N) : no buts, now go back to Outworld and get some sleep. Your people need their empress, and you need sleep. I promise I'll do anything in my power to cure her.

Mileena : thank you (Y/N).

The demon just smiled and nodded his head at the half Tarkatan. He made a portal to Outworld for her. Mileena took off her mask and kissed the demon on the cheek for gratitude.

(Y/N) : you know that you don't need to wear a mask in front of me, I accept you as who you are.

Mileena : I know, but I wear it for her.......I thought maybe seeing herself will help.

(Y/N) : I understand. *kisses her forehead* now go get some sleep. You need it more than anyone else.

The female nodded with a smile as she went through the portal and to her bedroom to get some well deserved sleep. (Y/N) closed the portal and continued his walk down the corridor until a familiar voice stopped him.

??? : where are you going darling~? Not gonna stay and play~?

He turned towards the voice and saw his former friend and the former princess of Edenia and Outworld, Kitana.

Kitana : come to me darling~. Now that the whore is gone, we can do as we please~.

??? : DON'T YOU EVEN DARE GET CLOSE TO THAT CAGE YOU DEMON.

The voice was from a cage on the opposite side and inside was someone who everyone once called a hero, but now he's nothing but a shell. The former Shaolin Monk and Kitana's lover Liu Kang

Liu : if you even dare get close to her I swear to Shinnok I'll kill you.

Kitana : getting jealous Liu Kang? Of course you'd be, your fragile masculinity can't stand the sight of a TRUE man.

Liu : a "true" man? He's not even human. He's just a demon disguised as a man.

(Y/N) listened in on the argument and it pained him deep inside. Not being called a demon, no, but seeing his friends who were once close act like sworn enemies. Before it could get any worse he used his magic to put the both of them to sleep.

(Y/N) : forgive me.

The young demon kept walking through the hall until he reached a sealed metal door with a demon insignia on it at the end of the hall. The door opened for him on it's own, he went inside and the door closed behind him shut. Inside the room was a bald man with pale skin who had black, red and purple tattoos on his bodies. He was Quan Chi, Shinnok's most loyal Servant and sorcerer. Usually he would've been a threat, but right now he was nothing, for he was chained and kept captive.

Quan Chi : hmm....how delightful. My torturer has returned.

(Y/N) : you can end the suffering Quan Chi, just tell me what I need to know, and I'll set you free.

Quan Chi : I'm not a fool to make a deal with the Devil. Well....Devil to be.

(Y/N) : this is not a deal, it's a promise. You tell me how to cure the revenants, and I promise that I will set you free.

Quan Chi : sorry, but as I said....I'm not a fool, and I will not believe the words of the Devil.

(Y/N) : *sigh* as you wish.

The demon then made the sorcerer look into the eye of nightmares making him see his worst fears and nightmares. This has been going on for almost two years now, since (Y/N) killed the fallen God Shinnok and took over the Netherrealm. One might think that after two years of being tortured by the eye Quan Chi will get used to it. But no, the eye of Nightmares is not to be fucked with. The unluckiest of people are the ones who are tortured by the eye of Nightmares for the eye's affects worsens every time it's used on the victim. Tho the door was sealed shut, Quan Chi's screams filled the halls and corridors of the castle, and even was heard through the Netherrealm. Compared to him, the damned ones in the Netherrealm are considered to be lucky. No one can save him from his fate of Eternal misery and torture. Not even the ancient Gods or the Elder Gods have the power to save him.
