We got out of the closet, Katarina writing something on her phone.

"So, what took so long?" Michelle asked.

"Um..." we both replied nervously.

Katarina looked up at us, a big grin on her face. "It was nothing, Michelle..." she said.

Katarina laid down. "I'm going to bed," she said, closing her eyes.

Michelle nodded and did the same, and Lily laid down on another spot. We cuddled for awhile and fell asleep in each others arms.

When we woke up Katarina was gone, with no trace of being there, Lily and Michelle were already up.

"Hm?" I wondered where she went, getting up.

"Oh, you're awake..." Lily muttered, blushing slightly.

"Yeah... So, are we going soon?" I ask, rubbing my eyes. Normally I'll need a cup of coffee to wake me up, but the fear of an Infected breaking in and attacking while I'm barely awake is a decent substitute.

Lily nodded, grabbing some extra supplies (3 bags of chips, 5 water bottles) and heading to the door to unboard it, gasping. "Uh... Daniel?"

I rush over and look out, seeing nothing. "What?"

"I SWEAR I just saw Anna!" Lily exclaimed, making me grunt.

"Please... Don't play with my emotions like that," I say, making her look down as I unboard the doors.

"So.... Where are we going to, now?" Michelle asked.

"Outside of town there's an abandoned lab, there we can camp as no humans means no survivors," I said, leaving to the car.

Michelle got in next to me, and Lily went to go in. We then went on.

Michelle had taken some ammo, as we found out on the way (23 bullets) so she practiced her shooting. (19 left)

We came to another stop as we came to some docks. "Something wrong?" Lily asked.

"No, there's a passage me and Anna found when we were kids. Its the only way I know in," I say, but as we get out we hear scratching coming from one of the cars, Lily rushing over to check it out.

"Someone left their baby in here!" Lily said in a worried mothers voice. "We can't leave it!"

Michelle shook her head. "There's a reason that the baby was left there, and if the Mother slash Father was turned, they would've bit the baby," she said skeptically.

"Is its skin green?" I ask, as it will help.

"I can't see. The window is faded, but we have to help it! Its trying to get out, the poor thing must be starving."

Me and Michelle just stare at her. No way is this the angry girl we saw before.

"Fine. If its an Infected, your to blame," Michelle said, pointing her gun at the door and ready to shoot.

Lily opened the door and a baby Infected knocked her down as it was shot in the head before it could scratch or bite Lily. (18)

"See?" Michelle said coldly.

"Sorry..." Lily mumbled.

We continued on into a forest right by the docks.

(I know this chapter is short, but we were going through too much story too fast).
