"No, this is crazy..." Tyler said to me,"It doesn't add up." He continued looking away from my eyes and going back to the screen. He finally stood up, and looked back at me.

"It doesn't add up. But it makes sense." I said calmly, not breaking his gaze.

"This is just a coincidence, Lily, there is so much we have to take into account." He said, stepping closer to me.

"No, it's not. There's more to it, we just haven't figured it out yet." I retorted as I watched him get closer and take my hands into his.

I looked down at his hands holding mine, not able to explain my heartbeat acceleration as it sped up. I looked into his eyes, and he looked into mine. My gaze on him didn't waver.

"You think I'm crazy." I finally deducted with a frown as I tried to step back and pull my arms back, but he only pulled me closer into him.

"No, Lily, I would never think that. The only crazy you could ever be, is crazy beautiful." He said smoothly and I finally knew why my heart was racing, but I didn't dare say why.

"Tyler, don't..." I paused,"I know what your trying to do." But my mission to stop this failed as I saw a grin appear on his face.

"What's that?" He asked although he and I both knew that he was fully aware of what he was doing. He could be so childish sometimes.

I rolled my eyes, but didn't flinch or make an effort to move this time.

"Romanticizing me." I said and he finally let me make my move if I wanted to, and I did. I stepped back from him and moved past him back to the surface Pro. "This is serious, Ty."

Before I knew it, his arms wrapped around my waist and he pulled me into his firm chest.

"This is serious." He said, playing with my words.

Maybe in another universe I might actually have took him up on that and followed it with a kiss. But this was different, we had a real mission to do with real people to save. Besides the fact, that romantic relationships weren't allowed and definitely frowned upon in the UNIA. No matter how much I could ever want him or he me. We couldn't have it, and we both knew that.

I sighed and waited for him to release me, not even wanting to escape on my own, knowing I could very well hurt him. "Please...?" I asked, knowing I needed to step away from him before I did actually kiss him. "Just help me."

I could feel Tyler's breathe on my neck, which sent shivers down my spine. He was the only person who ever had that affect on me. I could sense the smile on his face as he held me close.

I didn't mind it for a moment. For just a moment it felt safe. For a moment it felt secure. For a moment I felt a small flicker of hope. That one day I could have something with him one day. But that moment-that hope- like any dream faded away before I could register it and he finally let go.

I hated the feeling of emptiness that followed after it. A moment gone. A moment passed. Nothing more. Is what I continued to tell myself.

I gathered up my tablet in my arms and folded the cover up over it, not even glancing over at him but I already knew his eyes were on me.

"What do we do now?" He asked, his more monotone/ serious voice returning. I finally looked back over at him as I made my way to the door.

"I'm going to the director."

"I'm coming with you." Tyler told me, following behind me, our steps in sync as we made it out into the hallway and he closed he door behind us.

I didn't protest and kept my silence, trying to think about everything that happened. My mind wondered to something that hit me in realization. No matter how many times I turned him down or ignored him. He never changed his attitude toward me. He was still the lighthearted guy I knew in high school. He always looked at the positives in every situation.

I smiled a little and glanced over at him. But he was already looking at me. I looked at him for a few more seconds before turning my head forward as we walked. "I'll find more proof." I uttered aloud.

"I know you will." I could sense the smile that formed on his face just through his tone as our footsteps echoed down the hallway and other lesser agents moved past us.

We stopped in front of a frosted glass double door. I turned my head and glanced at him and then turned back and walked through the door into a room bigger than my own that was made an office space. The floor being a metallic tile and everything clean and neat as we made our way to a single door off to the side of the freezing room.

The fake green plants in the four corners and the clear water that fell quietly down a glasss wall were the only things that seemed to bring life to the room. There was a tv hung on the wall broadcasting one of the more popular news stations. Nothing that was of importance yet.

Our footsteps seemed to be the only sound you could hear even as I knocked on the metal door in front of me, not daring to shiver even the goosebumps formed on my arms. A small but firm voice came from the other side of the door.

"Come in."

Here's another chapter for you guys! I'm trying to be better about updating every Saturday but sometimes I can only do every other Saturday. I'm getting really excited for the chapters to come! We got a little bit more of an insight between Lily and Tyler and more of Lily's feelings behind the matter.
