Tyler immediately put the van in reverse, spinning the vehicle around. My fingers tightened on the leather seat and my body slammed against the door with harshness. I looked over at Tyler, when he glanced at men My heart racing as adrenaline flowed through my veins, my knuckles white with my death grip on the seat and then my body slammed back against the seat.

I grunted as tires screeched, and rubber burned against the pavement . I looked up, hair falling in my face, to see they had sped up and rammed us head first. The windshield tinted making it impossible to see who was inside. Blinking my eyes several times before fumbling for my gun, finding the grip, I took hold. "Tyler, keep going!"

"Lily, watch out!" He shouted just as I saw what he was calling out. The window of the other van on the passenger side was down and a gun appeared just outside aimed at me before the finger pulled back and fired.

"Get down!" I shouted just as glass broke and I ducked. Our windshield finally taking enough damage to shatter into a million pieces. I covered my head with my hands. My weapon still in my firm grip.

I got up from my crouching position and looked up over the center consul and airbag when the shots finally stopped. I fired back at them, Felix aiming just over my head doing the same. I could hear the heavy breathing and profanities muttered over their lips.

Our shots did nothing but pierce the outside of the van. The driver slamming his foot on the pedal as he grinned against our van with theirs. The clashing of metal against each other making a horrible sound like nails on a chalkboard. Somehow I felt as if they were smirking at us like we were their victims and they had already spun up in a web.

Not this time.

"Eric, hand me your dagger!" I ordered, reaching my hand back and holding my hand out. He immediately took it out and placed it in my hand.

"Lily, I honestly don't think that's going to-" Felix started to say but I cut him off.

"Felix..." I said, my tone firm with a bit of annoyance as I looked over my shoulder at him and smirked,"trust me. Plan C-cover me."I started to climb out of my seat, avoiding all the broken glass as I crawled out of the windshield-well what use to be the windshield.

Eric fired at them making sure they wouldn't take a cheap shot at me while I got into position. "Plan C??" Liz questioned doubtfully.

"I thought we were on plan G by now." Felix stared casually, helping me by climbing into the passenger seat, taking my spot.

"And what is plan C?" Tyler added, watching me as I leaned back against our van. The wind pressure making my resistance harder. I squinted my eyes, looking at the van in front of us. One hand holding the dagger and the other holding my pistol. I bent down to the window and looked back at all of them.

"Trust. Me."

"I feel like we're humble citizens and she's some dictator we blindly follow."I heard Felix mouth off in the distance as I stood up on the hood of the vehicle, looking down at theirs. Their van pushing against us down the tunnel, forcing us back. Their speed picking up, crushing the front end of the SUV.

"-Felix, it's called trust!" Liz snapped, and even though I couldn't see her I knew she was rolling her eyes. Their voices fading as the wind blew threw my tied up hair, I closed my eyes for a brief second. Blocking everything out and counting, timing every movement to perfection in my head. Then I grounded my feet and leaped.

My body slammed against the front windshield of their van and I could hear windows being rolled down as guns appeared in mysterious hands. My heart pounding in my chest as I rolled from the force of the speed and wind to the top of the car. Then my eyes caught a glimpse of a metallic object. The gun. The barrel aimed right toward me. "Traitors!" He shouted, his voice echoing in the tunnel and fading away. Even though I could see his eyes through the dark sunglasses he wore I could tell he was glaring.

His exclamation caught me off guard and for a second I looked utterly confused. But I pushed those thoughts away when his finger moved to the trigger. Taking that brief window of opportunity I slid my body around in a circle putting my leg out and kicking the gun out of his hand. Then proceeded to charge him from on top of the van, his body having been half way out the window of the car.

I tried to throw a punch but lost my momentum in the wind when he caught my fist with his hand. He brought his other hand up and backhanded my cheek. My eyes widened in realization and then the pain shot through me. I could faintly hear someone shout my name in worry. I narrowed my eyes and frowned,"now you've not only frustrated me, but ticked me off. Felix says I'm 'like the Hulk when I get angry.' Let's see if that true..." I smirked.

I took my other hand and gripped his wrist that held my fist, then twisted his arm in an agonizing way in which he cried out. His grasp on my fist loosened and he let go. "Good boy." I toyed, my eyes narrowed on him as sounds of honking and beeping from other cars echoed. The wind rushing past us and my heart not daring to slow down. I brought my fist back, swinging at him before he'd have a chance to recover, still holding his wrist.

My knuckles made contact with his cheekbone, the sound, making me cringe just a little but my face still kept it's firm gaze. The impact of my punch sending him back a little, his sunglasses falling off and crumbling to pieces on the road. His strong grip on the van surprised me as he continued to hold tight to the van. He winced, his hand to his cheek, and looked at me with strong hatred but that didn't matter. When I finally saw his face I froze up. My hands went still, my heart stopped, and I felt a cold feeling go over me sending goosebumps over my skin. I tried to form sentences in my mind but when blank. Only one word coming to my lips.

"Daniel...?"

Then the deafening sounds of screams and metal colliding piercing through the air.
