The warm air was comforting. I smiled and rolled over in bed, squealing when I fell to the floor. My eyes shot open and I looked around to see that I was not in my bedroom, but in the floor of Ironhide's cabin. I had almost forgotten that I had fallen asleep in here last night.

Ron was sitting in the same spot from last night, looking down at me with an amused yet tired expression. He held a hand out to me and I grabbed it before he very swiftly pulled me up to sit beside him.

"You're quite the clumsy femme," he teased.

I leaned my head against the seat.

"It's who I am," I chuckled.

He ruffled my hair and I smiled. Outside, I noticed that it was still dark.

"What time is it?"

"Approximately five thirty three in the morning," he answered.

I groaned. "Fucking hell. I have school."

He chuckled again. "I believe you'll survive."

I pouted and moved to open the door, but I was pulled back by two strong arms.

"Where do you think you're going?"

Ron's face was merely inches away from my own. I could feel the heat emitting from his breath, the slight smell of mint flooding into my nostrils.

"I was going to get ready for school," I answered.

"If I'm not mistaken, you have about twenty five minutes until your designated wake up time. You can stay a little longer," he smirked.

His hands moved to my waist and in seconds his lips were on mine. I moved my hands to his hair and lightly ran my fingers through it, causing him to deepen the kiss.

He was agressive yet delicate. He held me tightly, almost as if he were afraid I would slip through his fingers, only his grip was not tight enough to actually hurt me.

Just being right here with him made me happy. He may have been a twenty foot alien robot, but I did not care; I couldn't bring myself to. I still thought the same of him as I had before I knew what he was, and it was always going to be that way. I loved Ron, I loved Ironhide and it wasn't going to change any time soon, and honestly I hoped it wouldn't. I didn't care what anybody had to say about it either.

I kissed him one last time before pulling away. He had leaned his forehead against my own. This was an excellent way to start my morning.

"I'm sorry to cut the fun short, but I need to get ready for school."

He grunted and sat up, his eyes still on me. I crawled over to him and opened the door.

"You know you're welcome to come inside."

"I'll be in momentarily. Go get ready," he instructed me.

He placed a kiss onto my forehead before gently shoving me out of the truck. I jumped to the ground and walked to the front door, quietly heading into the house.

My parents were up already, but they wouldn't come downstairs until after six and I was thankful for that. I didn't need them asking me questions.

I ran up to my room and straight to my closet to pick out some clothes. I grabbed a peach colored shirt, my jean vest, a pair of black leggings, a matching scarf and my brown combat boots. After I finished I headed over to the bathroom to get ready, the process taking about forty five minutes which meant that I was ready very early.

I grabbed my school things and headed downstairs. To my surprise, everyone was sitting in the living room.

"Why are you in here?" I asked my dad.

He looked at me and shrugged. I sat down beside him and my mom on the couch.

"Why are you ready so early?" he asked me.

I shrugged and he rolled his eyes. The front door opened and Ron walked in. He walked over and sat down in the recliner, his head in his hands.

"Rough night?" my dad chuckled. He shook his head.

"What's the matter?" I asked.

"Nothing in particularly," he told me.

He leaned back into his seat and closed his eyes. He looked so tired.

"Do you two have to work today or nah?" I asked my dad.

He nodded and I made a face. "Why do you ask?"

I shrugged and he pushed me. "Don't touch me."

"Then quit being cheeky."

I raised a brow. "Stop talking like you're from the United Kingdom. Americans don't say words like cheeky," I retorted.

He rolled his eyes. I really wanted to smack his face. He was so annoying in the mornings.

"Last time I checked, the Constitution gives me the right to say what I please."

"Could both of ya'll shut up? I've got a migraine as it is," my mom remarked.

"Sorry, momma."

She just got up and went to the kitchen. I assumed she was off today considering she was only in a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt.

"So, you're taking me to school today," I told my dad.

He gave me a look. "I normally do."

"No. Ironhide or mom does. You're going to take me today."

"In what?"

I gave him a dumb look. "Mom's car, duh."

"I'm perfectly capable of transporting you," Ron spoke, his eyes still closed.

"No. Go to sleep. It's fine," I said.

He only grunted. My dad sighed. "Whatever your little heart desires, Lea."

I just chuckled.

The cafeteria was loud like it normally was. I sat down at my regular table and took out the lunch my mom had made for me this morning. Eating the school's lunch had not been an option since I got sick almost two weeks ago. I did not want it to happen again.

Braelynn sat down beside me and I grimaced at the piece of pizza on her tray.

"I don't understand how you can eat that," I exclaimed.

She chuckled dryly. Something was wrong. "Sometimes it's good."

I gave her a look before taking a bite of my chicken panini.

"What's wrong with you?" I asked her after I swallowed my food.

She sighed. "Okay, well I've been thinking about this all weekend. You talk about the Autobots all the time and you say so many good things about them and I guess it just makes me upset because they sound so nice and so fun. .I'd just really love to know who you're talking about," she explained.

"So, you want to meet them?"

"That isn't what I was asking, but I mean if one day it happened, I'd love it."

I smiled. I was going to get in major trouble for this. The fact that I had already revealed the Autobots existence to her would mean that I was in trouble, but I didn't care. She was my best friend and I told her absolutely everything no matter what it was. She was basically my sister.

"Well, your birthday is in like six days right?"

"Are you trying to tell me that you've forgotten it?" she said with a frown.

I rolled my eyes and shook my head. "Nothing like that. I just know what I'm going to do for you. Don't make plans. You're coming with me," I told her.

"Where to this year?"

"To the base of course."

Her eyes widened. She had been to the base with me before, but we were kids. "Seriously?"

I nodded. She smiled and picked up her pizza, only to grimace at it and put it back down. I laughed and handed her the other half of my chicken panini which she didn't hesitate to remove from my hands.

I sat there until the bell rang and just thought about how I was supposed to tell my dad and especially Ron. They were going to be mad at me for telling a civilian of their existence, but at least my dad would understand why I did. He knew how close Braelynn and I were and he even thought of her as a daughter. Ron was going to be the difficult one and I hoped to God that he wasn't the one to pick me up this afternoon.

The final bell rang and I shoved my things into my bag before following Braelynn out of the classroom and into the hallway.

"So, are you sure about what you told me at lunch? I do not want to cause any unnecessary problems," she said as we approached our lockers.

I put in my combination and began putting my books into my locker.

"Well, I may get in trouble but it won't last long. The only one I really may have a problem with is Ironhide," I chuckled.

She laughed. "You seem nervous."

"More or less."

I shut my locker and began walking out of the school with Braelynn, stopping when I saw that Ironhide was parked at the curb.

"Shit," I mumbled.

Braelynn laughed and I scratched my head.

"I was really hoping he didn't pick me up today. I don't want to tell him. I'm scared," I whined.

"I think you'll be okay. I'll text you later."

I sighed as she walked away. Slowly, I walked over to the truck and opened the door before hopping inside.

"Why so nervous?" I heard Ron ask me.

Damn.

"Um, no reason."

He grunted and pulled off onto the road. "You know you're not a good liar, right?"

I gave him a look. "I know, but I think I'm going to wait to say anything until we get home."

He just grunted and continued driving. After a few more minutes of silence, he pulled into the driveway. I moved to open the door but it wouldn't budge. I looked over at Ron to see him staring at me.

"Can you let me out please?"

He shook his head. I groaned and continued trying to open the door, only I knew I couldn't. I leaned my head against the window and frowned.

"Say what you need to say," Ron instructed me.

I rolled my eyes and looked at him. "You're going to get mad."

"What did you do?" he inquired.

I sighed. "I may have disobeyed my dad's orders and told Braelynn about the Autobots," I admitted.

His eyes widened and I heard a familiar click. In the midst of my statement, he accidentally unlocked the doors so I quickly grabbed onto the latch and opened it, only for him to grab onto my vest and pull me back before I could get out. The door slammed shut and I looked at him. Yeah, he was mad.

"I knew you'd be mad."

"Of course I am. You weren't supposed to tell anyone," he grumbled.

"This is the difference between you and my dad. You don't know Braelynn like my dad does. That's why I suggested I wait until I got home to say anything," I retorted.

"We are home, Azalea."

I rolled my eyes. "I meant inside. Now, let me out and we can talk about this inside like a civilized group of people or whatever," I told him.

He gave me a look before opening the door and hopping to the ground. I opened my door as well and nearly ran into the house. I laid my bag down by the door.

"Dad," I called. He came running down the stairs moments later.

"You don't need to be so loud. Your mom and Annabelle are sleeping," he told me.

I laid down on the couch. "Not my problem."

Sometimes I was very inconsiderate.

My dad rolled his eyes and lifted my feet up to sit down. I laid them down on his lap and Ron walked over to the recliner. He still had an agitated look on his face.

"So, I have something to say."

"What is it?" my dad asked.

"What do you think of Braelynn?" I asked him.

He gave me a look, obviously surprised by my strange question. "I love Braelynn. She's just like a daughter to me. Why do you ask?"

"Well, I may have told her about the Autobots and such."

He face palmed. "I told you not to tell anybody, Lea," he scolded.

I sat up. "I figured you wouldn't mind. And you know good and well I tell her everything. You knew it was going to happen," I said.

He sighed. "I mind, but I don't mind as much as I thought I would."

I looked at Ron and stuck my tongue out. "I told you." He just rolled his eyes at me. "Now onto a different topic," I started.

"What may that be?" my dad asked.

"Braelynn has gotten sick of me talking about the Autobots, and for her birthday, I want her to meet them," I stated.

"I'm sorry, what?"

"You heard me."

Ron grunted. "You've done it now," he said.

"Shut up. I'm serious. She's basically family. She wouldn't tell a soul," I told them.

"I know, but I'm not the one who gives clearance. You have to talk to Optimus and my superior about that," my dad said.

"How about you and Mister Grumpy Pants talk to them for me?"

"Watch it," Ron warned. I smirked at him.

"What day were you wanting this to happen?" my dad asked.

"Saturday is her birthday so yeah."

My dad groaned. "Sometimes I hate you," he exclaimed.

I hugged his side. "You love me. You all do," I giggled.

He squeezed my side. "Aren't you smart," he teased.

"It's about time you realized that."

He only laughed. Well, this had been easier than I had originally thought.
