I was not surprised at his message, because they hid themselves for a long time, and now the time had come, but the one thing that worried me was the safety of my family and friends That would be the first thing they would do to emotionally hit me. Ha Eun was their first target, and I had to prepare for the worst. I didn't respond to the message, I had to get back to Daegu and start working.

"Taehyung long time, how are you?" Jungkook asked. "I'm fine, how are you? And when is your project going to get over?" I asked him. "I'm good, it's over Tae, we have to submit it this Tuesday and then I'll return" He said and I was relieved, "Finally! It's been ages Kookie-ah", I said and he giggled "I know right, imagine me living here with none of you around me" he said "Yea Yea, stop acting as if you were the only one who suffered, in fact didn't you have your new friends there too, I doubt that you missed us a single day after you got your friends, and yeah that girl who you hang out with. You even forgot you were dating."

"No one understands me, so sad Hyung, I'm being honest here and you don't trust me. You know I met with an accident and you still tease me Tae. Bye I don't wanna talk to you", Jungkook whined, "Yah Yah!! Have you even grown up a little, Jungkook, I was joking bro. It's been so long I talked to you can't I even play around like that dumb head" I said before he hung up. "Hmm okay, well Tae how's the case going?" he suddenly changed the topic and I didn't know how to answer him "Tae, something's wrong right? I know you called me to take your mind off it" I wondered how he guessed it right every time "Nothing much, just come back soon."

"I'll take the first flight on Wednesday to Seoul, and you need to tell me everything okay?! And how's Ha Eun doing?" I couldn't speak, like as if something was choking me to continue further "She needs you during this time Jungkook, there are many things that are happening and its all too fast before I can even think what happened." I said, because it was no use hiding and it was getting difficult for me to protect her now, I could sense him stiffening up at that "Arraseo, just be with her till I come, just 2 more days hyung, please be by her side, protect her for me." He became extremely worried and scared "I'll be with her don't worry. I'll go sleep now so don't get scared okay, take care bye" I said knowing it wouldn't help him "Good Night Bye"

Next Morning

I woke up early, freshened up and went to check Ha Eun, she was still sleeping so I checked if she had fever, thankfully she didn't but it was painful for me to see her in so much pain, I decided to make some breakfast hoping she would wake up till then. I went to the kitchen but since I'm not good at cooking I searched on the internet and was busy when I heard something fell, I went to see if she woke up and there she was sitting and sobbing. I went and sat beside her "Ha Eun, it's fine don't worry, I'm here" I said gently, she raised her head looked at me and looked down again "Stop crying, no one will harm you now, I'm sorry it was all because of me, please look at me" I said but she didn't dare look up, I felt I should give her some time so I got up to leave.

But her hand stopped me and she gently pulled to hug me, "I'm scared Tae, I tried to hold on but they started to touch me and hit me, I couldn't endure longer." She cried and I felt bad, guilty that I couldn't help her, she was traumatized and I couldn't see her like that "Why would my brother want to do something like that me? I always loved him even if he was a criminal, because he did that all for me. He said he would always protect his sister. He lied Taehyung, all of them were his men he sent them here, my own brother did this to me!" I wondered what made him go to that extent of harming his own sister.

I just didn't know how to calm her, she felt really insecure and she had no family, the only people she trusted was us 7, "Ha Eun, forget about him, I know he's your brother but there is a limit. I am sorry it was all because of me but don't worry, I'm always here for you, I'll protect you no matter what, now stop crying and eat something, I'll check your wounds after that" I said but she didn't stop crying.

My shirt was wet with tears and I knew I was late, if only I could stop what happened, she took the entire blame on herself for no reason, she was emotionally disturbed, she kept mumbling to herself and I pulled her to see her face red with all that crying, it was the worst thing I could ever see, the fear was visible in her eyes and her face made me want hit those jerks to death. "Those jerks hit me as if I was a toy, they felt happy seeing the blood..." I don't know what made me do this but I kissed her, and I did not regret it this time, I wanted to make her feel better, a little at least because I knew this would stop her for thinking for a while, I wanted to take away the pain she was feeling, she was surprised but that was the only thing that could stop her.

I pulled back and she stared at me before hugging me again, I didn't know what was going inside her head now, and now this time I was prepared to kill them, with my own hands and now it was only the rage inside me and not the police uniform that made me even more resolute to find them.

"Hyung Shik, it's me Taehyung." I called him so for police security at Jin Hyungs place

"Ohh Tae, what happened?" he asked "I need tight police security around Jin Hyung's home and I want the Seoul Department officers to seal my house as crime scene for a while. I'm on my way to Daegu, so I'll tell the rest later"

"Okay"

I then called Jin Hyung

"Hyung, I'm dropping Ha Eun at your place and your house will be given tight police security, I sealed our house as crime scene so that no one enters, so pls take care of her. I have the keys to your house too so lock before you sleep, I'll be back late at night or if not tomorrow morning" I said

"Okay, but will you tell me what happened? Don't worry I'll call Kim Soo to make Ha Eun comfortable." He asked worried

"Not the right time Hyung, I'll tell you later and please don't ask her anything about it. Okay then I'm leaving home and will be at your place in half an hour"

Daegu

"Hyung Shik, I'll be going to look out for Park Min's hideout, so I'll be back late" I said as I was about to leave our home in Daegu, "I'm coming along Taehyung" he said "I said I'm going alone, don't worry I can handle it on my own" this was unknown to our department so I couldn't risk his life "But, you just came back from the hospital, you are still recovering. You know it's not safe to go alone, don't take such decisions at a haste, be calm and plan out" he told "I had planned out but nothing worked out, this is the only way to bring them out, and I have my ways and I have done this many time before so don't worry."

"Taehyung, bullet proof jacket? And if anything goes wrong just use that watch for once, your life is important okay?" He asked "Yeah, everything's there. Bye."

"Yoongi hyung, did you get the location?" I asked him, "Yup, but its heavily guarded, I suggest you to move back and along with your team later" I had enough of people telling me to not go "I said I won't turn back, then why do you all keep telling me, I did handle such risky situations before. But you guys weren't aware of it" I screamed out in anger.

"That time, you did as a police officer but now you are doing it to take revenge, I know it's hard but don't let your emotions come in between, don't do something that'll make you regret later on. Don't misuse the power you have Tae." he said and that in someway brought me back to reality, but how long should I wait, everything was getting more messed up each day.

"Taehyung, wake up... this isn't the police officer I knew. You are letting your personal problems come in between, and I can guarantee you that if you don't stop now, this might be the last time you are talking to me. Form a team, and work from the inside, send undercover agents and do the work. Come on you should be the one thinking all this, I am not a police official" he explained and yes I came back to life again, I'll do what he said.

After that I return back home, and tell the plan to Hyung Shik who finally breathes. "I need the same people we had on our team during the serial killing's case. Inform all of them that there's a meeting tomorrow morning 8:00 in Seoul Headquarters." I informed him, "Arraseo Sunbaenim" he said giggling.

I was about to go sleep when I got a message

After a long time... how have y'all been? I am finally out of school, so I have like 5 months leave so I'm really jobless 12 Thanks to y'all for waiting for me, you guys are truly amazing, I hope to finish this book soon just a couple more of long chapters and it's done.
