I reach the crime scene along with my team and note down all the details, "What happened?", I ask him and he said "Witnesses have told that the deceased committed suicide but I don't believe it, something fishy is going on. I need you to help me out in this case" he said worried. "Any suspects?" I ask him but he doesn't tell anything, so I assume they aren't any as of now." , "Taehyung I found something though, at this time when everyone's sleeping, there was one person who came in as a witness" .

"Wait, you mean he had something to do with this?" I ask him and he nods, he had a point I ask him to find that person and tell him to come tomorrow at the station for testifying. Just then I get a message from Song Joon Sir,

After you wrap up with today's case get back to me I need to talk to you

Okay I replied

He had never been so rude with me, and I wondered what was going on. I tell Hyung Shik and then leave for the Headquarters

"Listen carefully, I appointed you as my assistant so that we could find him, you have those skills and instincts but why are you not bringing up yourself for this one, what's holding you back" he said, "Sir, there's nothing like that, I have been staying overnight just to get as many details as I can but I couldn't get hold of solid proofs and accurate details." I told him, this time his face was not as angry as before, I had to get hold of that bastard. "What do you think of making someone go undercover, it might help" he said; that was an amazing idea "We will have to wait; I guess they have been already alerted that the police have been trailing them lately, we will have to put a halt at this and then send someone." I said

"Yeah fine but you still have to keep an eye on that idiot." He said and then he left, I call up Kook and tell him that I won't be coming home as I had work to do. I went back to work and then Hyung Shik messaged me

-"Taehyung, can you please come I tried finding about that person and I found something interesting, can you come."

"I'll come tomorrow morning; I have some reports to send" –

It was being hectic at office and it was mess, crime rates had increased alarmingly and also now that I had become the assistant at a short notice, there was a lot to do.

Ha Eun's POV

I went home late today and got food for Kook and Tae on the way, I went home and was surprised to find Kook at home. "You were going to be late right?" I ask him and he just smiled "Aren't you happy?" he asked and I nod telling him I am happy. He took those bags from my hand and then I was going to change, I was about to close the door when his handsome face popped and he came in "I need to change" said but he kept his soft, tender hands on my mouth preventing me from speaking.

"He shut the door and cornered me to the door, his hands preventing me from moving, I looked at him and he stared at me and those eye were filled with remorse and sadness and then he moved his had allowing me to speak "Are you okay?" I asked him worried and he replied "How am I going to be okay, I don't know how long I will be there, I can't see you" tears flowing through his flawless, beautiful face and see him I just hugged him

His warming hug, being so close to him I would miss all of that. He then pulled back and saw me crying too, he came closer and I could smell his beautiful perfume and just then he placed his tender, soft lips on mine and started kissing gently, my heart racing uncontrollably, I could feel how desperate it was, I kissed him with the same neediness my heart racing uncontrollably and I could now smell Jungkook's warm sweet breath on my neck which made me shiver, he continued leaving a trail of kisses along my collarbone. I realized Tae could come anytime and immediately pulled back

"Tae might come now" I told him and the only thing he did was to smile, every time making my heart flutter "He isn't coming home today, I am lucky" he said giving me a smirk "Dinner! Let's eat I am really hungry today" I said and he could see my blushing hard and gave out a small chuckle "Okay, let's eat"

After having dinner, we watched a movie and then when I went to the kitchen to have some water he came behind and picked me up effortlessly "Yah kookie, isn't it enough for today" I tell him "I have to make up for the time I won't be here" he said and took me to our room, and laid me with utmost care. He then came and slept and kept caressing my hair until the last thing I heard before I slept was him telling "Ha Eun, I will always love you".

After completing my work I went to Officer Hyung Shik and talked him about yesterday's case and he said that the girl was a school teacher who lived alone and according to the neighbors around her, she was a very sweet , happy and caring person and there was nothing that made them feel that she wasn't doing well. He then told me that the witness was in fact a convict and was released from the jail 7 years ago. "I tried calling but it says that the number is not reachable." He said and something just clicked me "Was this work done by Park Min?" I told him to gather more info and I went home because I was exhausted after working the whole night

Okay I guess it was a bit intense here ;) lolz, well Taehyung is working hard and I hope everything happens smoothly and personally I do not know who to side with.

What do you all think will happen next? Will Ha Eun and Kook really last? So many questions please tell me what you think. The story is beginning to come to an end, though there will be a lot happening before that...
