Kano State, Nigeria.
2013.

Jabrayah squealed in delight and gratification after hearing that Falak will be back just in two weeks and they will be able to celebrate both Ramadhan and Eid together. They are still talking in the phone when she stood up just to squeal, making Falak giggle at her through the laptop.

Jabrayah placed her laptop on the center table in her living room because she just finished cooking dinner for both her and her husband. Falak's heart ached when she thought about how loving the two are. It doesn't look like their marriage had been arranged and she didn't want to talk to him at first. How she wished she could get a husband like that, he's just too loving and caring.

"Highness, Falak is here." She called from where she is standing when she heard the door to the bathroom opened. He came back and went to take a bath just when Falak called or he wouldn't have been in that bathroom.

"Coming!" Falak heard his voice from inside and giddily beamed at the laptop waiting for his appearance behind his wife.

"Hello there, my grumpy pilot's sister." He laughed when she scowled, kissing his wife cheek before settling down next to her to look at his sister who just kept getting beautiful with each passing day.

They talked for thirty more minutes before she dematerialized and asked them to go and eat. Even with the looks Suwaid is giving his wife makes her squirm, there is just too much love in his eyes that makes her envy all their love. She performed ablution and pray for a good spouse and magnificent relationship like theirs.

"I can't wait for her to be here. She's just too beautiful, gorgeous, hot, attractive now for Shaddad to ignore." Jabrayah smirked, already seeing the look on his face. He was so ignorant to not see the beautiful creature right before his eyes.

"Stop trying that matchmaking of yours." He shook his head and move on to the dining, he is starving

"I won't, they will make the perfect couple but they can't see it just yet." She shrugged and sat down on his lap, feeding him gently since she is not hungry.

The relationship between them grew up so beautifully from ten months ago. Now she can't picture any life without Suwaid swaying inside and mingling around each and every memory. He taught her how to love and she is loving him with all she has. He agreed with her condition to not get pregnant till after she's in her final school year.

She goes to Bayero University Kano and is studying Biochemistry. She wanted to study something like nursing but then again, married and being a nurse don't get along at all. Sometimes they use all their nights in the hospital and she can't afford doing that to Suwaid, she wants to spend each day with him.

"And you are their cupid?" He raised a playful full brow at her, looking amused because she really is determined to make those people work but he can't see that in future though. His brother is too headstrong to listen to anyone and Falak deserves someone more loving.

Jaiyana struggled to finish cooking breakfast before Huzaif leave the house. If he does leave the house without eating breakfast, he will keep acting all grumpy for the rest of the day but still won't say a thing to her and that hurts more than him being silent.

They hardly exchange words in a day, except for the greetings and your food is ready or you have guests and that is it. The worst part of the event is that, she is silently liking and falling in love with him. Sometimes, she could hear him talking to Falak through face time and could hear the sound of his soothing laughter as they tease each other. She wants that kind of relationship and she fell in love with that side of him.

She finished the creamy salmon lemon piccata. She didn't get why she stressed herself into cooking something hard early in the morning when she didn't wake up early. She sighed and drop down on the chair in the dinning side waiting for his door to open and his striking handsome figure will emerge. Whenever he will come out wearing his court outfit and wig, she'd stare and check out even though she knew he could feel her gaze, she can't help it.

Unconsciously, she check out herself in the floor length mirror that is in the dining table. She is wearing a huge sweater and maxi ankle length skirt, those are the first pieces of clothing she found in the drawer because of how fast she wanted to whip something for him. She sighed, it's not like he is even going to look at her so she doesn't have any problem with her clothing.

"Good morning." She greeted, out of breath because this morning is one of those where he came out wearing his court outfit and she can't help ogling and admiring him.

"Morning." His deep voice answered, sauntering to sit down on one of the dining chairs and waited for her to dish out the food for him.

After eating, he quietly left the house and went to the court to which she sighed at and plop down on the sofa. Huzaif is a very difficult man but she should be lucky that he didn't send her packing to her father's house even after knowing the secret. Not only is he disgusted with her, she is also starting to feel disgusted with what she's done.

What was she thinking? Was she that naïve and stupid to think that giving herself to another man, no, another boy is another sign that you love him?

She doesn't even know how it happened but just knew that it happened and she can't do a thing about it. Another thing to thank God is that she didn't get pregnant, that would've been the worst thing that has ever happened to her. It would've been a disaster!

"Hey, Wyatt. Can you help me with Dr. Malhotra's last notes?" Falak frantically asked her only male friend from where she stood, outside the hall she finished writing her second to the last paper.

Wyatt is an American who came to amiis to study paediatrics just like her. He was like those cliché nerds that love reading and always know the answer to the professors' questions so she befriended him. Harith told her to be that wise and befriend intelligent people and not the ones that are there to play so she didn't let the chance slip when he asked for a pen.

"Ugh, Falk. You always do that to me and don't you know I haven't read much like you." He pursed his lips, slinging his bag across his shoulder as the duo started to walk down the corridor.

"I know but you can use your phone and I can't, pretty please." She gave him one of the looks she leant how to do, a puppy dogs eyes and pouty lips that always clutch onto Wyatt.

"Fine, but I will need it in the morning." He groaned before giving her the stark of notes which made her heart drop, so the notes were this much? And she thought that the last paper will be in her favour, oh well.

She plopped down on her bed and stared at Wyatt's handwriting that is facing her. She could remember collecting a parcel just three days before her exams started and can't help but keep thinking who sent that parcel to her. If she could remember clearly, no one told her that she was going to receive a parcel from them since she came to India except the one time Jawahir sent her some homemade fried rice.

The parcel consist of notes about all medical stuff that consist of paediatric course for the first year. The notes looks old but exactly the same as the one she has now and even looks like the person studied in amiis to get the exact notes. There was no address nor name attached to the old note except a small message that depressed her because she still didn't figure out the person nor does she have any trail.

'Study well and pass with flying colour, you can do it.' And that is all that was written. It wasn't even a person's handwriting, it was printed out from a typewriter and she knew then that this person doesn't want to reveal his or her identity.

After checking that the notes she collected from Wyatt is the same as the one sent to her, she immediately called him and ask him to come and collect his notes and that she has it. He grumbled how much she's troubling him but nevertheless left his dorm to take back his notes.

Falak sighed, this person could be Harith or her mother or even Masrooq since they like giving her tips about her course. She is thinking more that her mother sent this and forgot to write her name thinking she'd guess who it is. She will have to ask her after she's done with her final exams tomorrow that is.

So far, all the exams turned out to be good and she can't wait to finish it all. Even though she feels like she is going to pass, she still stayed up in the night and pray out to Allah for help. And thanks to the person who sent the notes, all the places that are outlined with pink highlighter are the questions brought up and think this person knew how to do magic.

Yoyoyoyo!
How've you been? How are you all coping with this boredom? Well, I get to type so I won't exactly call it boredom, I have so many chapters and books (drafts)... Who sent the parcel? Uh, wishes, hopes, thoughts, words, guesses🌚
RQ; Would you rather live in the wilderness far from civilization or live in a street of the city as a homeless person? Hehe, I'm afraid I can't live far from civilization and living homeless is also not an option, I'm clueless😂 You?
