"I don't know what Falak is thinking right now." Jabrayah mumbled to herself after getting dressed in the maroon ankara that has touches of gold which the marketers call, embellish. Falak brought it out from her drawer. Though she's dark skinned, she looks very beautiful in the maroon colour.

A few minutes later, three maids knocked on her door and she opened the door for them. She looks surprised because she never thought she would be treated like a princess again, though she wasn't treated like one in her fathers home, he told them that they are going to have to do everything themselves because they will be getting married to another man someday and that man might not have a maid to tend to their needs.

"Uh, why are you here?" She tried to act civilized but being socially awkward and someone who have a very hard time trying conversations, she doesn't know what to say and hopes she doesn't sound bad mannered or obscene.

"The Queen sent us, my Lady." Their heads are all bowed like they are showing their respect, she felt somehow with that though, very uncomfortable.

"Okay?" It came out more like a question since they look like they are not ready to explain why they are there and she is not going to ask that, she will sound rude and she doesn't want to be bitchy.

"She asked us to get you dressed in this before the guests start coming." One said after a moment of silent between them. She looks like she's in her mid thirties while the others look around twenty to twenty one and nothing more than that.

They are all dark in complexion but the older woman looks finer than all of them. All of them are effortlessly dressed in brown and cream maid outfit that looks beautiful. Even if they will walk out in the outfit, not everyone will know that they are maids in the palace. It looks good enough for you to wear outside and not feel uncomfortable with it. She will even like the type of outfit, she should ask for one.

"Oh, but I'm already dressed." She smiled though they are not looking at her and they probably missed the gorgeous smile that adorned her face with white pearls on display.

"She asked us to get you into the Alkyabba." The older maid further explained and produced a beautiful alkyabba Jabrayah didn't see her holding. It's so beautiful that she beamed at the piece of clothing and asked them to come with her to her room and not her husband's, that is disrespect if they are to go to her husband's room, he is a Prince after all. He is feared by them all and she won't give them any reason to mistreat him.

They draped the alkyabba on her head and let it flow down her body to the ground. Five inches is sweeping across the tiled floor like a tail. The alkyabba is cream in colour but has rich golden and maroon embroidery around the hood, neck and down the length of the opened front and a little stones behind her back. She looks so pretty in that alkyabba. She twirled around making the maids grin at their handiwork, she liked it and that alone made them proud.

"Can anyone of you tie this head tie for me please?" She asked after going to her husband's room to get the head tie she couldn't tie around her head. She's not really into ankara so she can't do much with the head tie, she normally drape veils around her head and she's done.

"Sure, my Lady." One of the younger ones volunteered and took the head tie from her hand to tie it expertly on her head in a pretty turban.

"It's so gorgeous, thank you." She thanked the maid and they all look pleased yet again. They won't have much problem with their lady since she is always this cheerful and thankful.

The maids left when Suwaid walked into the apartment, his scent taking in all other nature's smell from her nostril and gulping a big choke of his into her throat. He also walked with power and pride with each step and head held up high like he knows what no one knows. She took a moment to keep looking at the gorgeous specimen, he truly is a dark skinned beauty with beard and long nose, her dream guy.

"You look magnificent." He complimented, walking into her room where he heard her walking around and the maids also told him that she was there.

He stood behind her, looking at the mirror she's looking at and see all the beauty she tried to hide yesterday with a hijab -she slept with it. She smiled at him which made his heart flip and summersaults before coming back to it's ribcage to beat again. She looks more beautiful with a smile on her face and her eye crinkling by the side.

"Good afternoon." Her soft voice whispered, lowering her lashes a little because she didn't feel too comfortable with his stunned expression.

"Afternoon, how was your night?" He asked from behind her, not moving his gaze away from her down casted eyes. There is no need to move it since she is his wife, his and his alone.

"I-It was good. I'm so sorry about yesterday, I don't know what-" he stopped her midway with a smile before ambling to where she is standing, his smile not faltering even for a nanosecond.

"I understand. Shall we?" He motioned to the door, his hands behind his back looking too yummy and Royal for her liking.

"We shall." She smiled and walk up to him, silently wanting him to offer his hand so she could hold it and together they could talk to the guests but he didn't. Is he giving her space because of the act she pulled yesterday? But she doesn't want the space, she wants to understand him and get comfortable like Falak had said.

Jaiyana weep by the drawer with her hands around her body. She felt so disgusted, pool of self loathe after what happened yesterday night. She couldn't stop the tears that kept gushing out from her eyes because even if she wants to, she can't blame anyone for the mistake she made and now she's paying for that mistake gravely, it feels like her heart is ripped from it's cage but someone is trying to push it back in with so much force that staggered her back.

When everything was finished yesterday and her friends left, Huzaif and her prayed in the room and he still didn't talk to her. She thought he was going to consummate their marriage or something so she didn't talk and waited for him to do something but he didn't, he just adjusted himself and lie down on the bed. He didn't bother looking at her nor did he even greet her which hurts, that is before he said the words that brought suicidal thoughts to her mind.

"I know you aren't a virgin and don't waste your time trying to get my attention. You decided that it's best for you to give yourself to another male not in wedlock and you expect me to take the remaining?" The words were harsh, hostile and frigid which chilled her bones to the core.

His words threw her off guard and didn't get any sleep after that. She crumbled herself on the bed and cried like never before and when it was time for subh prayer, he woke up and went to the mosque without looking at her and didn't acknowledge her presence. She performed ablution and pour her heart to Allah and did so many nawafils after that then crumbled to the wardrobe.

When he came back, he didn't bother coming into the room and looks like he lied down in the parlour and slept off the morning before he went to the other room and took bath then came back to collect his clothes before leaving yet again. She felt like her whole world crashed down right in front of her eyes.

She made a mistake, yes but he didn't have to throw it on her face. So the rumour about the rude princes is true? Is this how her sister will cope with her own husband just because of her mistake? That thought alone brought another heart wrenching cry from her mouth, the sobs looks like it's choking her and she even tried bringing her heart through her mouth.

Is he the only one that knows that she's not a virgin or the whole world also knew about that? She's afraid that she won't be able to face the world again if everyone knows. It's not even bad that she wants to go back to her home but that is impossible because her father will skin her alive. What other option than to go and cry on her sister's shoulder?

Then again, she's not sure what her sister is going through herself. She brought all these upon them and now they both are paying for her mistakes. After seeing that the house is starting to bustle with people wanting to see the new princesses, she huddled herself to the bathroom and took a very long hot bath before coming out.

She heard the knock at the door but ignored it and took care of her body before wearing cream ankara skirt and blouse then walked out and opened the door, only for three maids to bow and greet her. She looks startled at first before smiling at them and letting them in with the mint green alkayyaba in hand. She consciously look at her face in the shiny mirror to make sure the makeup she used to close her fluffy eyes some minutes ago is still in place and did it's job well.

"We are here to get you into this." One of the ladies smiled at Jaiyana since they can see that she is not as rude as the other princess, Madeeha.

"Oh, this way then." And she also took them to her room where they dressed her in the cream alkyabba that is embroidered in rich gold and mint green just like her sister's but with different colour.

Falak did something that stunned all the brothers, princes, guards, maids the queen and king.

How are you all? Hehehe, I hope you all are good and happy. I think this is the first cliffhanger in this book huh? Just wait for more to come and what do you think about writing short places about the new princesses? Should we just focus on Shaddad and Falak or touch them also? Tell me what you think about them all?!
