Chapter 5 - Badly Behaved
Author's Note: Thanks everyone for the input about whether I should continue marking the chapters for explicit and violent scenes at the beginning of the chapter.
From now on, I will no longer write it at the start of a chapter. Instead, it will just be indicated within the chapter as a # border before the more mature scenes.

"You're not still mad at me are you?"
It had been several days since they exchanged insults to each in other in the middle of the cafeteria, and Jessie had been making minimal contact with Riley ever since.
"No. I just hate you still." Jessie said as he continued reading his book. "Now hurry up and finish this chapter so I can quiz you, moron."
Cameron was sitting in the middle between the pair, and his eyes kept switching between some of his favourite people in the world.
"Jessie, Riley apologised at least." Cameron said.
Jessie laughed out loud as he saw through the bullshit Riley was feeding his brother. "Not really. He told me that I should stop wearing our mom's knickers all the time, and that's maybe the reason I'm 'so uptight and a little bitch'. That was his apology."
Cameron casted an accusatory and questionable glance at Riley, who felt the need to defend himself when he first tried to talk to Jessie after their fight.
"He told me that I should go choke on a stick wrapped in barbed wire that was inserted through my ass."
Jessie quietly laughed under his breath after hearing his insult again. "And I meant it."
"Well I meant it too!" Riley said as he threw his pen at Jessie's head.
"Children..." Cameron muttered as he sighed with disappointment.
Jessie retaliated by throwing his water bottle at Riley, hearing a loud thunk after it bashed his head. Riley grew mad as he jumped over Cameron's lap and pushed Jessie out of his chair, sending the 3 of them flying out of their seats.
Cameron sat up from the floor and watched them both fight each other with their fists, letting them get their frustrations out as he stepped back and let it happen.
But several minutes later and it didn't look like it was slowing down any time soon. With both of them getting good shots at each other, Cameron finally intervened with the fighting pair.
It all happened very quickly and in a swift motion. Cameron forced his way through and separated them both, putting them in headlocks as they were forced to stop punching each other.
"You guys done yet?" Cameron scolded them like a stern parent telling of their children.
"No!"
"He started it!"
Cameron held his grip on Jessie and Riley slightly tighter, making sure they understood he was being serious. "And I'm finishing it. I don't want to hear another insult coming from you two."
Jessie grunted as he tried to escape Cameron's hold. "Fine, I'm only agreeing because you've got the upper hand. In a fair fight I could take you down with one arm behind my back..."
"Whatever," Cameron laughed. "Riley?"
After Riley gave him a simple thumbs up, Cameron let go and pushed them away from each other. "Now, can we get back to Pride and Prejudice?"
~~~~~~~~~~
Time passed by as Jessie tried to teach Riley and Cameron about the main themes in Pride and Prejudice.
"This is so boring." Riley groaned. "Can we take a break yet?"
Jessie was still teaching Cameron about how class was a major theme in the story, while Riley easily got distracted by his phone. He felt ignored as the twins were focussing on their studying, while Riley felt dumb for not being able to remember everything Jessie was teaching them.
"Actually I could do with a break, I need to call dad before he goes on his business trip."
Jessie furrowed his brows and looked at his brother. "Business trip?"
Cameron nodded his head as he picked up his phone from the table. "He told me that he was going to Japan for a few days when he invited me to dinner yesterday."
Cameron missed the look on Jessie's face when he left the room. Riley saw the dejected look on Jessie's face, and he picked up how one of his hands were becoming red from scrunching it.
"I'm guessing you missed the family get together?" Riley checked.
"Can't exactly miss it if I was never invited, can I?" Jessie let go off the pen he was holding in his other hand, and rested both of his hands on his bouncing legs.
Riley wanted to offer some comforting words like any sympathetic human being. "It might not mean much, but I appreciate you helping us today."
"You're right, it doesn't." Jessie told Riley brutally. "Maybe if you tried a little, and didn't keep reading the same page over and over again for the last 15 minutes."
"Hey, I'm tryi-"
"A monkey playing tic tac toe has a greater attention span than you - and they're probably smarter than you too." Jessie snickered as he then laughed at Riley.
Riley flinched at Jessie's prickly attitude after he tried offering an olive branch. "Don't take it out on me, Summers. Just because you have mommy and daddy issues..."
A knock on the door interrupted the verbal war that was about to start again. Olivia walked through the door and smiled at the pair.
"Hey guys, how's it going?"
The obvious tension in the room made everyone uncomfortable. It didn't go unnoticed by Olivia, who often witnessed the pair bickering constantly.
Jessie was still a raging ball of anger because of Riley, and sadness at how his parents didn't bother to ask him to come.
"Nothing new." Riley looked away from Jessie and saw Olivia all dressed up. "Where you off to?"
Olivia glanced down at herself as if she didn't realise she was all dolled up. "I'm going to a club with some friends at the other side of town, and I was wondering if you guys wanted to come to?"
Riley wasn't much in a party mood today, and he thought one weekend without drinking wouldn't be the worst idea.
"I'm in." Jessie told them. He had already gotten up from the chair and put his arm around Olivia's waist, ushering her out the door already. "Let's go predrink now."
Cameron walked back into the room to see his brother was about to leave. "Are we finishing early? I thought you wanted to study for another hour or two."
"Rain check. I'm the one that needs a break now."
As they watched Jessie and Olivia leave together, Cameron turned back to look at Riley confused. "Did I miss something while I was gone?"
~~~~~~~~~~~
Jessie didn't know where he was right now. He had lost his group of friends a while ago, and migrated to some strangers who invited him over to drink with them.
The day took a horrible turn, and Jessie wanted to drink away his problems. Riley always had his way with words that crawled under Jessie's skin. He was a master at antagonising him, so Jessie tried to fight fire with fire.
Jessie also felt rejected by his parents once again. He hated the needy feeling of wanting his parent's approval, love and affection. It kept hurting when he found out he was treated differently compared to his other brothers, and it always sucked whenever it happened.
Drink after drink, shots followed by more drinks, Jessie wanted to unburden himself of the crappy state he was in.
He met a random girl at the club, and it could be the heavy beer goggles but Jessie found her attractive at least.
Jessie held her by her waist as they were walking back to her place together, stumbling along the way in a zig zag path.
They made it back to the apartment when they started making out in the living room. Jessie already began removing her bra as he snaked his hands under her shirt.
Throwing them all into the empty space besides them, Jessie took his own shirt and belt off as they stood up together.
"Bedroom." Jessie whispered in a sexy groan.
They were just outside her bedroom door when the front door opened again.
Reactively they both turned their heads towards the person who just entered, and Jessie swallowed nervously at the older man with a killer look in his eyes.
"What are you doing to my daughter?!" The taller man shouted with a deep voice, walking up to Jessie and standing tall over him.
"Dad! Just leave us alone!" The girl shouted as she attempted to close the door with Jessie inside.
"You don't have to worry," A drunk Jessie laughed, "I brought protection!"
A drunk Jessie wasn't as smart or careful as a sober Jessie. The older man had punched Jessie as a reaction, cutting his lips as he then grabbed him.
"Never come back again!"
Jessie was forced out the door as it slammed behind him. Landing on his ass, Jessie began to shiver up as he was thrown into the cold air with his shirt left behind.
Jessie began to bang on the door aggressively as a result. "Hey! I want my shirt!"
Despite no response from inside the apartment, Jessie continued his persistence as more lights in the neighbourhood illuminated after hearing Jessie's disturbance.
Still intoxicated, Jessie wasn't thinking clearly about what he was about to do next. It wasn't even about the shirt anymore, he just needed some sort of outlet.
Throwing caution into the wind, Jessie picked up a loose brick from the sidewalk and threw it at the door, shattering the glass pane.
Only after his actions did Jessie regret everything he did that night, as he turned around to see a police officer standing behind him and witnessing everything.
~~~~~~~~~~
Riley was woken up in the middle of the night when he heard a phone ringing. He groaned as his tired body was needing sleep, and he was annoyed because of it.
Riley turned the lamp on to look for his phone. He was confused when he saw nobody was calling his phone, and then he realised it was Cameron's phone.
Picking it up, Riley answered Cameron's phone. "Hello?"
"Am I speaking to Cameron Summers?" The other person asked.
"No, this is his roommate. Cameron isn't here right now." Riley told them truthfully. Cameron told him he was staying at his girlfriend's place, and Riley realised he must have accidentally left his phone behind. "What's this about?"
"This is Officer Filstone from the local police department. We currently have someone named Jessie Summers under our custody for drunk and disorderly behaviour."
"You what?!" Riley shouted with concern and shock. "What'd he do?"
"Damaging private property. The owner didn't want to press charges because he saw the younger gentleman was clearly drunk, but only on the condition if he paid for the damages and repairs."
On the inside, Riley was secretly laughing. This kind of behaviour from Jessie was bizarre and out of the blue. Riley found it funny that the golden boy everyone sees was in deep trouble.
"Can you come and collect this gentleman? He's being released from our custody, and it's already super busy in here." Officer Filstone asked.
Riley already began to put his clothes on, with the phone in one hand and his keys in the other. "I'm on my way."
~~~~~~~~~~~
Jessie was ignoring the looks of the ogling eyes that were roaming his naked torso. Whilst he was confident with how he looked, he felt shy because everyone around him was staring at how his nipples were sharp because of the cold.
He attempted to shield himself with his arms, waiting inside the police cell as he was given time to sober up and think over his behaviour.
"Summers?" Officer Filstone shouted. "You're being released."
The jail bars had already opened when Jessie rushed out. "My brother's here?"
Jessie turned the corner and saw Riley instead, with a massive grin on his face as Riley began to chuckle. "What shit did you get into?"
Jessie furrowed his brows when he realised Cameron was nowhere around. "I asked for my brother."
"He wasn't home." Riley then folded his arms as he stood smug in front of Jessie. "You should be thankful I'm even here to get you."
Jessie nodded his head as he became humble and ducked his head in shame. It was the middle of the night, Riley had dark bags under his eyes, and his hair was all disheveled.
Riley came all this way to bail him out, and Jessie was grateful for his help. "Thanks." Jessie whispered.
Riley gave Jessie a simple nod before he urged him to get into the car. "Let's go. If more people see you shirtless, then you can add public indecency to the list of embarrassing things you did tonight."
