Sophie heard footsteps coming close so she turned her head to see Eric and Olivia walking towards her, Mia and Kai. David isn't here yet and he's late, Eric told Sophie and Mia. I knew it that he wouldn't show up on time, I'm not even surprised, Sophie said. I'm not surprised he didn't show up, Mia said.

Well I'll be kicking David's ass the next time I see him and yell at him, I'll be surprised if he shows up but I doubt he will so now excuse me for a moment because I need to let out my anger, Sophie said.

Sophie got up and walked toward one of the trees. Where are you going? Mia questioned Sophie. What are you going to do? Olivia questioned Sophie. Sophie clenched her right hand into a fist and punched the tree. Olivia rushed to Sophie to check her hand.

Olivia gently grabbed Sophie's hand to look for any injuries and was glad Sophie's hand was ok. I'm glad you're hand is ok, Olivia told Sophie. Sophie pulled her hand back to gently now rub her now hurt hand. Me too however the pain won't last long, Sophie said. 

I'm happy you didn't injure yourself, Mia told Sophie while walking up to her. Kai ran up to Sophie and looked at her rubbing her hand. Kai jumped up and began licking the hand she was rubbing. Aw such a sweet dog, good boy Kai, Sophie told Kai. Sophie took a hold of Kai's leash and pet Kai on the head.

How are you doing with David not showing up on time again Mia? Sophie questioned Mia. Angry and upset but I'm used to it, Mia answered Sophie. Sophie walked to stand beside Mia and put her left arm around Mia's shoulders to comfort her.

Well sometimes family is over rated and at least you have us here for you, Sophie told Mia. I know, I'm grateful you guys are here for me, Mia replied. Of course, Eric told Mia. You're welcome, Olivia told Mia. They are true friends after all and as your girlfriend I'm also here for you, Sophie told Mia.

Where did you get your dog Kai from? Olivia questioned Sophie. I got him from a man went to my place of work, he just gave me Kai and told me he was fourteen months old and named Kai and he just left so I adopted, I tried renaming him Oliver but he only responds to being called Kai, Sophie answered Olivia.

How's your job? Hopefully no one has ever left you their kid Olivia, Sophie said. Thankfully that hasn't happened to me and that it never will and My job's alright, Olivia answered Sophie. What about you Eric? Sophie questioned him. I'm glad no one's ever left me their kid and I like my job, Eric answered Sophie.

It seems like David isn't going to show up after all, so can we play fetch with Kai. Mia questioned Sophie. Of course, I have a ball that Kai loves in my car, Sophie told Mia. Sophie went to her car to get the ball for Kai to play with to pass away the time.
