A/n: Kind of short but a longer update is coming later. And stuffs getting real! -AV

Scott avoided Alex as much as possible during the next few weeks. However, there were times when he inevitably had to cross paths with his nemesis. "Scotty Boy's always running away from a fight." "Hoying's a faggot." "Run away lover boy." Alex continuously tortured Scott.

Sure the comments directed at him hurt but the ones about Mitch nearly caused Scott to explode. "I'll make him get on his knees, just like I made you." "I'll fuck him so hard, he'll beg me for more."

"Shut the fuck up Alex and leave both of us the hell alone." Scott screamed as he retreated once more to the choir room. Scott could feel his anger beginning to boil. When he reached the room he saw none of the teachers nor Mitch were there. No one to calm him. His mind raced. All he could see was Mitch laying across Alex's bed, screaming for Scott to help as Alex rammed into him repeatedly.

As much as he tried, he couldn't shake the image from his mind. His sweet, innocent Mitch forced to do what Scott himself had been coaxed into doing. Worst of all is that he couldn't save his love. The more this image played in his mind, the more he made up his mind. He knew he needed to end Alex's taunting once and for all.

The following day, Scott's resolve had wavered slightly, with Mitch holding his hand, he could see past his red, hot anger. He didn't actively seek Alex out as he had first planned, however, he knew if he was confronted he wouldn't be able to walk away this time. The day ended, passing without incident, Scott and Mitch walking to each of their lockers before heading home to enjoy Mrs. Grassi's famous meatloaf and mashed potatoes.

When Scott arrived on Mitch's doorstep the next morning, Mitch could tell something was off. He immediately questioned his boyfriend's distracted demeanor.

"It's nothing babe, let's get to school before your mom yells at us."
"You sure you're okay?"
"I'm great, I promise." Scott replied, taking Mitch's hand and leading him down the sidewalk toward school.

The two arrived 15 minutes early, but still continued on to Ms. Cook's classroom. "Good morning boys," she greeted. Mitch was the only one to respond to her. She looked worriedly at Scott before asking Mitch to run and fill her coffee mug in the lounge. Hesitantly, the boy took the cup and quietly left the room glancing over his shoulder at Scott who was staring intently at his phone.

Unknown: Tell your man to watch his ass. I'm coming for him and it's your fault! Pay back's a bitch Hoying!

Scott didn't need to know the number to know the message was from Alex. Ms. Cook noticed the boy's expression and asked if he was alright. Scott replied, "yea, I'm just tired, I didn't get much sleep last night."

Ms. Cook continued, "you know you have allies here if you need help." Scott smiled, "I know Ms. Cook, and I'm so grateful for it."
"It's no problem...and Scott I see your wheels turning, please don't do anything stupid."

Scott gave her a half hearted smile knowing he wasn't sure he could keep that promise.
