Love lots -AV
"Holy shit...that was..."
"Amazing?" Avi offered as he cuddled into his boyfriend's side.
"Yea, it really was." Avi snuggled even further into Kevin as the older boy sighed and wrapped the blanket around him. "Rest for a few minutes baby then we have to get cleaned up and change these sheets before my parents get home."
The brunette was already dozing but replied, "mm 'kay."
An hour later later Avi was walking about of the bathroom, Kevin was remaking the bed. He had already thrown the old sheets in the washer. Avi emerged at the precise moment to catch Kevin bent over, tucking the sheet in. The shorter boy wrapped his arms around Kevin's waist, hugging him from behind, allowing himself a moment to relish in what had happened.
"I love you Kevin. Like I'm completely and utterly, absolutely in love with you."
"I love you too baby boy so much. Like it hurts how much I love you."
"Thank you for that by the way. You took such good care of me. You know my first time with a guy was rough and he was mean and I didn't enjoy it. But you, that's how it's supposed to be I think."
"Thank you for making my first time with a guy so incredible. I'm glad you enjoyed it this time. We'll have to do it again sometime." Kevin wriggled his eyebrows teasingly.
"I was trying to be nice you horn dog."
The taller boy just laughed and bent to kiss his boyfriend.
After dinner Kevin decided the two should relax in the pool. His parents were going out but he and Av needed to get ready for school tomorrow. They had heard from Mitch and he had told them the news about Scott. Neither were in the best of mood since finding out their friend was going back to Dallas, however, the events earlier kept bringing random smiles to their faces. They pair were playing by splashing each other. Kevin would dive and pick Avi up on his shoulders making the younger boy scream and flail. They were trying to enjoy their time together before Avi had to start to school.
Kevin's neighbor had other plans. The older boy saw the man looking over their privacy fence but chose to ignore it, thinking he would go away. Eventually, after fifteen minutes of staring he did. It was moments later when he heard a siren blare. He looked around and could make out the blue lights against darkening sky.
"That's weird. We don't usually have cops around here, especially not with sirens."
The cars stopped somewhere near the house but the couple paid no more attention, too caught up in enjoying their time together. They were now sitting on a large float together, Avi's back against Kevin's front with the older boy's arms holding him tightly. They were both utterly relaxed and on the verge of falling asleep.
That changed when they heard shouting and banging coming from the gate. Seconds later an army of policemen swarmed the yard, guns pointed at the pair that had now slipped off the float. Their hands were in the air, neither dared to move or speak. They were commanded to make their way out of the pool before they were tackled to the ground and cuffed. It was finally then that Kevin spoke.
"Excuse, can I ask what's going on here?"
"Gotta call about two people breaking into this house."
"I live here."
"Son, don't lie to us. We had a neighbor call in. They said they didn't recognize the two that were galavanting through these people's yard. And the fact that you two are clearly ex-cons..." The man nodded his head toward the anklet on Kevin's foot.
"My parents own this house. I'm supposed to be here. Him too, he's with me. Call my parents, call our PO. They'll tell you."
"The homeowners are on their way so we'll see if your story checks out."
"But..."
"I suggest you be quiet before we decide to haul you both in now."
Kevin shut up, look over at Avi who was seated in the grass, knees up to his chin, eyes lowered. Kevin cleared his throat loudly in order to get the boys attention, as soon as Avi looked up at him he mouthed "boop," making the brunette grin. It was another few moments before two cops helped the pair up and out of the yard. They were escorted to separate vehicles before being questioned. Avi refused to speak, but Kevin continued to tell that his parents owned the home.
It was another twenty minutes of the two sitting in the back of police cruisers before the Olusolas arrived home. Kevin's father was quick to talk to the lead investigator. He could be heard yelling across the yard.
"Is there a reason you're harassing my son and his boyfriend?"
"Sir, we gotta call that there were intruders in your home. We were doing it for the safety of the neighborhood."
"Everyone here knows Kevin is my son. Who would call and report something so stupid?!"
"You're neighbor, a Mr..." the man paused to check his report, "Harberger."
"Are you serious? I can't believe the nerve of that man. Curline, go and make sure they let Avi and Kevin go. If they don't call Jack or that nice Sara Beth lady and tell them we're suing the department!" Oluwole looked directly at the lieutenant as he spoke, letting the man know he meant every word. "I'm going to give Preston a little piece of my mind."
"Mr. Oloosolu, I have to request you stay put until we get this handled."
"It is Olusola, and it is handled. Release my kid and his boyfriend. You have no right to keep them detained."
"Sir, if you could please calm down. We had plenty of reason, the neighbor reported suspicious activity and we find two convicts in your backyard."
"They aren't convicts, they're stupid teenagers who screwed up and now have dumb people like you and my asshole of a neighbor looking down on them."
Kevin was taken aback hearing his father curse. It wasn't often the man let go of himself enough to show that much emotion, but he was visibly angry. What surprised the boy even more is that his father wasn't mad at him. His father was screaming at a policeman, defending not only Kevin but Avi as well.
Kevin watched as his father turned abruptly and walked over to the large stone and marble house next door. Kevin hadn't been in that house in a very long time. Odds are he'd never enter it again, not after stealing Mr. Harberger's precious Lambergini. His father, however, didn't seem detered as he marched up the stairs and banged with an open hand on the door. It was quickly answered by a maid who seemed shaken at the way Oluwole was speaking. Kevin couldn't hear the words now, but he could see the man's body posture and it was anything but positive. The woman scrambled away as the homeowner made himself visible in the entryway. Kevin's view was then blocked by a cop opening the door and telling him to step out.
The man quickly unhooked the cuffs, Kevin rubbing his sore wrists before turning to find Avi who was still in a cop car. His mother came over quickly, telling him they were waiting for a positive ID on the boy before releasing him. It was another several minutes before Avi was release, running to find Kevin sitting on the steps of the house. He plopped himself down in the older boy's lap before kissing him quickly.
"I'm sorry about all this baby boy."
"It's not your fault Kevy."
"Still... we just wanted to relax today and now we end up in handcuff with cops everywhere."
"But we're not on the way back to juvie so there's that."
"Very true, babe, very true."
A noise could be heard rising above the din of everything that was happening on the front lawn. Kevin's father and Mr. Harberger could be heard screaming back and forth. Kevin jumped up, nearly dumping Avi off his lap, following the commotion. He wasn't the only one, several of the policemen were also heading in that direction. As soon as Kevin rounded the corner he saw the man raise his hand, a smack rang out, and Kevin ran to defend his father from the attacker.
